We all know how strong Kaito is and in the Judgment franchise it looks like Kaito is a hell of a beast which he actually is but compared to Kiryu, I mean Joryu Kaito is just another goon from the streets not stronger than the rest of those guys, that's why 2 tiger drops are actually enough
The producer confirmed this in an interview. The reason theirs not a lot of long battles is because the Judgment cast are supposed to be limited. More "Human." Stronger than street tier Yakuza but weaker than the higher tier Yakuza characters/protagonist. He confirmed this when asked who would between Yagami and John Wick and Kiryu and John Wick. Implying heavily that Kiryu and his friends that scale to him are more Super Human than human. And that the Judgment cast while strong they're still humans. A bullet would be fatal to them. And could kill them. While Kiryu and his friends/enemies can fight after getting shot. So I would put the judgement cast on like Yakuza Kiwami 2 tier. Maybe. While the Yakuza cast have only gotten stronger since those games.
Like I could see Yagami or Kaito beating Nishiki but struggling against Ryuji Gods. Kaito straight getting bodied by Goda. While Yagami ties via having the Martial Arts Skills to keep up with Ryujis Strength and durability. But once they get to Mine and people stronger than him. Then they just straight up lose.
@@theyoungfamily8295 It's also very good shown in Judgment. Yagami can get heavily wounded losing some of it's healthbar while Kiryu just eats 5 bentos to regain full health. On top of that you see Yagami often fight together with Kaito and Suguira to beat "harder" opponents while Kiryu would EASILY solo the whole Judgment franchise.
@@IrishCoffeee very good observation. Honestly Kiryu is soloing most Of Yakuza at this point. In Yakuza 5 Kiryu tied with Saejima, who tied with Majima. So by Yakuza 5 they were all equals. I don't know if it was his growth in Yakuza 6 or his training with the Daidoji in Gaiden. But he is way above both of theirs characters now. I had my suspicions in Like A Dragon. When we Saw Ichiban and his Crew cause Majima and Saejima attempt to get serious just to beat them. While Kiryu held back and even said that Ichiban had "ways to go." And still solo'd his crew never having to get serious at all. But we see with Shishido. That he overpowered both Majima and Saejima WORKING together before Kiryu stepped in and knocked him back. Showing us that YES indeed. Kiryu has far surpassed Majima and Saejima. And we can't even say it's because they were tired too. Shishido was way more tired and battle damaged then they all were. And he was STILL OVERPOWERING them. Kiryu is freaking insane just a monster.

Kaito definitely has more health than a mid boss and has more health than most bosses. That being said Yagami definitely loses against Kiryu as it is still iffy if Yagami is stronger than Kaito with at best being equal somewhat and while Kaito would likely hold out for a while he would eventually get worn down.
I respect people that like Yagami more than Kiryu, but yeah liking a character does not mean they can beat another. Snake from MGS is my favorite and I know he stands no chance against someone like Bayonetta

Kiryu=Legendary Yakuza with Black Hair, grey suit, that fought Legendary Enemies like Ryuji Goda, Joryu=Looks exactly the same, has the same voice, as strong as him, and has almost the same style but he wears glasses and his suit is Black. You see. Different guys
Suit's color can be changed to grey though. So it's just the glasses and Kiryu never wears glasses... except when he works as a real state agent, is attending a funeral or is singing certain karaoke song.
