Whew, that was rough to watch. Sorry Erin. Thanks for sharing your story. I've been to that lovely place once or twice and almost every single time, someone's got an axe to grind. Hope you have a smoother experience next time!

Hey, thanks for your support. Yeah, thankfully after many months, I've finally got a new appointment. Third time's a charm, right? We'll see.

Tip..thers allways be someone in a higher position and its not unusual to say you want to speak to them when someone acts like that.
Because sometimes they fill this position with part time workers wich means they have less of a clue what to do.
Its your right to speak to her/his boss and when they go crazy because you want to you can even call the police to help you out.

Great tip! Yes, this is something I looked into doing because apparently there are people that have sued the Ausländerbehörde before for denying their applications.

Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

I'm sorry you had that horrible experience. If that's any consolation, most germans have similar experiences with bureaucracy in Germany. It ranks just below going to the dentist. And you're in the most unfortunate place for dealing with government agencies. Berlin is notoriously known for not having a functioning civil service. Even the last elections went terribly wrong in which city ? Damn sure, Berlin. Please do not add that to that stereotype of germans loving bureaucracy. Germans do not! But for some weird reason we're good at spreading that cancer. Maybe it's Gods punishment for two world wars...

Yeah, thanks for your thoughts. Dealing with bureaucracy is never fun and especially frustrating here in Berlin. Definitely one of the worse experiences I've had so far, but hopefully it'll be better the next time around.
