I just used this stuff to fix a couple of screens. #1 -- it is screen, not clear tape; #2 -- it has adhesive on one side that is activated by the heat from the hair dryer. So the result is a repair using screen that is well attached, via the heat activated adhesive. More attractive AND more secure than tape.
