The past is consigned to the past, it is foolish to think we can revive it and reach those historical splendours some nations sing about in their anthems. History records many similar Empires that have reached their apex and then enters into oblivion, either by being conquered or by self destruction, at the time of their demise they never see the end coming. It almost seems their appointed time has come. If Brexit is achieved it will signal beginning of the break up of the United Kingdom and not of the E.U. Having been to some of the biggest factories in the world and the some of the biggest trade shows, in reflection these regions of England of malcontents that have voted for Brexit are in the delusion some kind of revival of the magnitude of the Industrial revolution will take place after Brexit. Their labour is costly both in monetary terms and political terms, the return for such costs is the likes of British Steel, just prolonging the eventual death. China has a flexible "no contract" workforce of 320 million ready to do anything it is paid to do, by hook or crook it has swallowed up knowhow and technology of every field you can imagine. The West is paying for being too Fat in more ways than one. Bloated on self importance, bloated on welfare state that has allowed generations to become dependant as form of livelihood that has created apathy for the struggle of life, living. It has created a generation of delinquency. And the wealth of the world is more inclined to shift East, offshore and away from the West, the Western states sacrifice and progress to up keep a social system defunct but a populus utterly reliant on it with little appetite for struggle to move. While the politician fear a revolt a revolution if Brexit is not given to the defunct, they politicians have become little more than 'Yesmen' for fear to follow their own beliefs.

They worked hard no takeaways no holidays, they purchased their own house. No birthday parties to show off or branded goods. My 7 siblings all own a home we didnt depend or suckle on welfare. The true poor know poverty and spend their sweat to leave it. Out of 24 nieces and nephews only 1 lives in council house because he married into it.

The only people voting were the tribals and the engaged, I heard someone from an ethnic minority saying that it had become common knowledge that all minorities should vote for the Labour party. The brexit referendum reengaged a significant number of people who had never voted for a long time, the result shock and disbelief from the political and media class because they were living in a bubble called Westminster!
