Isaiah, Jeremiah et al. would for sure lambast it as they did to many in power for their corruption. This is not a political issue at all but one of justice, ethics and flagrantly ignoring the 10 Commandments written on tablets, yes but also written deep in the heart of every person made in God's Image no matter how deeply they bury this awareness. This is a time to act on the prophet in each of us, didn't Moses say, Would that everyone would speak in the Spirit, would prophesy when Joshua wanted him to punish the two guys who were doing so apart from him.
I'm sorry to say, truly, that for whatever reason, Mr Brooks seems so disingenuous to me, so sincerely vacuous and deliberately inoffensive, that I cannot credit him---even when I know I should.
