The second half of the 60's was so magic 😍😍😍I wasn't born yet, but life was much simpler, it was much easier to communicate IRL with people. It's no coincidence if music and movies of this era became timeless.
My mom and dad were married in 1966✨ Dad passed away going on ten years 🥹they both love music and I learned to love music 🎶 I grew up listening to a lot of these jems and I also love the Beatles ❤️ spectacular job, some random guy ✌️💖🤩

Though I always identify myself with 70s music I realize now 1966 was one gigantic year for music and most of these songs actually reached many generations through some great covers as well. Technical comment....the two Beatle songs, Yellow Submarine and Eleanor Rigby were on the Revolver album, the Yellow Submarine movie did not exist yet in 1966 even though they used those songs for the cartoon movie later.

One hundred fifty hit songs. 1966, my family moved from SF to LA; in between we stopped by Nevada, Arizona, ... we moved from apartment to apartment, school to school, ... But I can tell you exactly where I was, which street corner, which city, who I was with, when each song first came on the radio. I just had a hundred some flashbacks; the memories these songs bring back.
