The Nolah natural mattress is a latex hybrid that uses hole-punched talalay latex with pocketed coils to provide comfort, support, and exceptionally good cooling. It has an 11″ profile and a plush feel.
In our performance test, the Nolah had exceptionally good cooling, moderately deep sinkage, low motion transfer, very fast response time, moderately high bounce, very good edge support while sitting, excellent edge support while lying, and excellent pressure relief.
The Nolah Natural has a more generalized contouring around the body. This is on contrast to the more dramatic hug that memory foam creates. It’s a more traditional feel that emphasizes pressure relief, cooling, and softness.

So appreciate this...... AS what you said about the Nolan Natural 11 sagging in the middle is HUGE..... so it sounds like it is a bit too soft WITHOUT enough lumbar support? This was so helpful, because the Nolan company describes having ZONED SUPPORT so sounds like they are not being honest about having extra zoned suipport under the lumbar region??
I don't think Nolah is being dishonest. From what I can tell it does use a zoned coil system.
However, because those top layers are softer it creates more sinkage in the middle. Many other mattresses that have firmer top layers create less sinkage by comparison, which would yield improved lumbar support for those mattresses.
For lighter weight side sleepers this could be ideal. In addition, some moderate weight side sleepers may prefer that feel. But for many other types of bodies the sinkage depth could simply be too deep, causing the support issues that you're concerned about it.
Excellent and detailed review. I “ordered” this mattress. “Ordered” meaning I accidentally selected the full foam instead of the latex 😵💫 so I’m waiting to return and get the latex. I’m nervous about swapping because I’m losing some of the trial benefits.

If you can, you should try and contact them while it's still shipping and try to cancel the order. You may be able to cancel before it leaves.
If the mattress arrives that will mean the trial has started. They will let you exchange (or return it) it for the correct mattress you wanted, but that new mattress most likely won't have a trial period (which is pretty standard among many companies when you get an exchange).
