Your reviews are great. And I don’t say that easily. Based off of everything, my wife and I have looked up. We are torn between going with this Sleep EZ or the Wink Luxury Firm. The problem we’re running into is that my wife likes the bed because she sleeps on her side. And I sleep on my back, so I tend to like bed on the firmer side. But not too firm. My wife was looking at these Sleep EZ mainly because of the split option. She is worried that if we go with the one piece wink Luxury firm it might be too firm because of how she sleeps on her side. it’s tough to tell. Just curious your thoughts based on the info given.
Before we ran into the Sleep EZ mattress we were veering towards getting two twin XL’s to make one king size bed. Doing one Wink soft mattress for the wife and one Wink Luxury firm for my side. The reason why we kept on looking is that I’m worried if we meet in the middle of the bed that the edge of the soft mattress will dip down too much compared to my Luxury firm, that’s pushed right up next to it. Hope that makes sense
@@mikeockenu2383 Yeah, that makes perfect sense. The gap between Twin XL mattresses can definitely be annoying. It really comes down to your preference and the preference of your partner. Some couples don't mind the gap and/or don't really sleep near the middle...while some spend a lot of time in the middle of the mattress and it becomes a major annoyance.
@@mikeockenu2383 Thanks for your kind words. Glad to hear my reviews are hitting the right marks. So definitely Sleep EZ is a good choice, as would the split config with the Winkbed. However, if you want that internal split there are a few other options as well you could consider: Nest Bedding Sparrow - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/nest-bedding-sparrow-review/ DLX - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/avocado-eco-mattress-review/ iSense - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/isense-hybrid-premier-review/ Naturepedic EOS - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/naturepedic-eos-review/ All of the above offer the internal split firmness, same as Sleep EZ. I'd probably lean more towards Nest Bedding or DLX, as they are closer to the budget of Sleep EZ and Winkbed, but if you want something super high end iSense or Naturepedic are great choices also.
What a timely video. Last week you recommended The Spindle Mattress for us with the major concern being motion of transfer the Spindle having less. We're holding off on the purchase until our home remodeling is completed, but that shouldn't be to much longer. Both mattress have their pro's and con's but I wonder while 10" is workable but would you not have more options getting the 13" SleepEZ mattress just because of more options in DIY? I kind of prefer the SleepEZ, but the argument for the Spindle is compelling.
The 13" mattress is definitely going to have higher performance. The extra layer is especially important for sleepers who want a very firm or a very soft mattress. If it's within the budget, I would definitely go with the 13" Sleep EZ. Comparing the 10" version of Sleep EZ vs. Spindle is a much closer contest.
I have been searching for a mostly chemical free mattress and I am stuck between the Sleep EZ 10" and the Spindle, I'm 5'10, 185lbs, do you have a suggestion? I have also been considering the Sleep On Latex medium, but reddit says they are far too firm for side sleepers like me. Either way, they all seem awfully close...
They are indeed extremely similar. In our tests, the Spindle performed better, so I would lean more in that direction. But in terms of material design, quality, etc. they are very similar.
Hello, Maybe I missed that point, but which one is more bouncier than the other? What was the combination of the bouncier mattress? Thanks (I prefer bouncy mattress!) Thanks and thanks for the video!
