An even worse crime - Shmi Skywalker has never had a mini figure. Not even one. She had speaking roles in two movies and she was the mother of The Chosen One. How many minifigs has Lego sold for Greedo, the Twi’lek dancers, and dozens of background characters? Shmi Skywalker deserves at least one!
Would make a good may 4th promo similar to what they did for Aunt Buru, if they found some other stuff to add her in I’d love that aswell

The entire clone wars face print wave was a crime. I remember buying those as a little kid and being horribly disturbed and upset by the clone faces and very much kept the helmets on😭
the worst among many terrible ones. I sold all my TCW anime eyes figures years ago and for some reason people were extremely eager to buy them.

You know what's even crazier, is that our last Dooku was 11 years ago... wtf?!?!? He's literally THE MAIN VILLIAN of an entire movie, why in the world is it taking so long for lego to put out another one
I feel similarly about Jango given the resurgence of Fett popularity and how detailed the new Boba is. But Dooku should be a priority and with the new LOTR set coming I can see it happening sooner rather than later

They should release a padmé super-battlepack with 8 different padmés in it, then I can finally build my dream army🤩🤩🤩
The Star Wars fans would throw a tantrum because they hate having named characters in battle packs, unless you just put 8 of the same padme variant for army building. I guess it could make sense since she has so many decoys.
The other injustice here is that she no longer has a unique face print. She now uses Jyn Erso’s, which has become the generic “female movie character” face. She deserves her own face print again (along with a bunch of other characters).
YES! It's a great looking print but it's so over done, and I feel for any character to have a unique one, it should be her
She shouldn't be unique to be fair, Natalie also plays Jane in Thor. So that should be her face too.
@@HollyOnFilmI agree, great video! Another thing LEGO needs to work on is producing more b1 battle droids. I’m getting tired of my clone army out numbering the droids 3:1! When in reality it should be flipped.
The fact that we haven't gotten, at the very least, her battle clothes from Episode 1, the loyalist committee dress from Episode 2, and her Mustafar travel clothes from Episode 3, all of which made appearances in Clone Wars, is astounding to me. #JusticeforPadme
Sadly lego Star Wars hates including capes/waist capes with their minifigs now so I wouldn’t expect a cape with her.

My wife is the biggest Padmé fan ever (cosplaying her and stuff) and I was sooo sad to tell her that the most recent leaks for maul's ship appeared to reveal that there won't be a Padmé minifig in it after all 😩
They should do a Padme Bricktober pack so four new Padme figures can be released together.
If they did make a rainbow Padme they could use the same cape piece that they used for Storm from the Xmen I really think that would made the minifigure so much better.

The Droid Factory would be my dream set. Other great Padme sets could be Theed (the palace or the hangar), Naboo starship, senate pod, Geonosis arena (or just arena beasts), the Gungan rendezvous, Mustafar, etc...
Padmes small cruiser ship with her in multiple dresses whould absolutely make perfect sense and would solve this issue with one set and i believe it would sell if they set the price right
Lego doesn't always listen to fans/consumers. (Hutt Slayer Leia comes to mind. They won't make that. If the UCS set is the rumored Jabba's sail barge, that Leia won't be one of the mini figures.) I agree that Lego needs to do better for Padme or more Padme.
LEGO not making another Slave Leia is likely the fault of Disney and not LEGO itself. It's the woketards currently running Lucasfilm that keep doing those things (preventing outfits, changing ship names, etc).
Hutt Slayer Leia isn’t so much due to Lego not wanting to, it’s because that outfit for ANY Star Wars merchandise partner is let’s say… problematic.
YES! We need more Padme minifigures/outfits in Lego! The Naboo Battle outfit is definitely the most overdue imo, like there's so many Naboo sets they could have included her in, but they just DIDN'T! Geonosis Padme is also one I really want, I'm really surprised we've never gotten any droid factory sets, I feel like that would be a great scene to make a set out of. Or we could have a new N1 Naboo Starfighter but instead of having it based on The Phantom Menace, make it Attack of the Clones themed and have it include Padme in her pilot outfit, R2-D2, and Captain Typho, who is another minifig we've never gotten! Speaking of Attack of the Clones, the fact that we don't have a minifig of C3PO from that movie is also a crime!! Your idea of having one of Padme's ships with a bunch of her outfits is also a really good idea! It's so unfair that we haven't gotten a single one of her ships, because any one would honesty make an amazing build and a fine addition to my collection. So yeah, we need more Padme, and it's a shame that we've only gotten 4 unique outfits for her.
The Star Wars line up goal is all about variety to me, so now that we have prequels stuff can we just mix it up and throw her in there a bit more plz

Its nice that we got her in the new gunship, but what happened to her unique face print from the last gunship??? Ik the new one is based on the clone wars but its still Padme and she deserves here own face!
For the rainbow dress, the cape piece from storm would be a great piece to use

With the Star Wars community becoming more die-hard, the argument that boys don't care about the girl figs becomes a worse and less accurate argument.
We need more Padmé minifigures! That is definitely up on top of the list that LEGO needs to prioritize. They could literally do like a Padmé’s wardrobe room or something, or even a CMF… which for some reason we probably will never get. For reasons we can’t ever get a straight answer for. I’m honestly getting tired of seeing Ahsoka. I would like to see more of Padmé for a change. Up there with Padmé I would say is an increase in production of b1 battle droids. I’m getting sick and tired of my clone army being 3x the size of my droid army; it should be reversed. Why do you think?
Padmé does seem to get the short end of the stick across the board. Lego, Hasbro, Bandai, Hot Toys, ArtFX+, Iron Studios, Sideshow.... Very few releases, and when something does get released it's a variation on the white Geonosis jumpsuit.
I'm glad I still have some old 1999 royal outfit dolls... And that Hot Toys are *finally* completing the PT's heroic trio in 2024.
you make such a good point about the orange hand maiden padme being in the infiltrator, i think that would make it a must-buy for me honestly!! padme’s ship and a bunch of different variants of her would actually be super fun and i would buy as well!
Well at least Padmé has Minifigures. Other than idk Dedra Meero - the antagonist of Andor or Marva Andor or countless other important figures. But yeah we have a problem with a lot of missing characters and too many Clones

Great video! I always thought she didn't get enough representation. Was super happy about the recent gunship since I missed out on that figure back then. But seriously she's the Leia of the prequels. Part of that trilogies trio. Hopefully the Infiltrator surprises us!

Never thought about it as Star Wars just became a thing at our house due my boys (5 and 8), but yes we need this. I am totally down to buy my own sets with her and all the great outfits she has!

Resale value of Padmes support your point too. High Padme prices indicates unmet demand. Fans do like Padme figs and they're willing to pay for them.

Things like more diverse Padme Minifigures are what we need, I think the clones are fine and we certainly get a diverse selection of them nowadays. I personally want LEGO to make more charecters from the prequels that we’ve never seen before. Anyways, I think this video was great and I definitely agree with you
I'd 100% take more padme minifigures, shes one of my favorite characters and it's sad to see that they kinda just left her in the dust. If we can get 45,000 different luke minifigures in the time span of 5 years we can get more Padme figures

My favourite Lego youtube channel! I just started getting into collecting lego star wars, so if i had a say, i would ask for more original trilogy sets because those are my favourites out of all the films.
The newest Padme was horrendous. The outfit made no sense (and it's an outfit that we already got) and she stole Jyn Erso's face print, which didn't fit Natalie Portman AT ALL.

Listen I agree all the way with more Padme, but the first two rex's you showed are identical. The only difference is what the set WANTED you to put on the helmet which we know the 2nd is completely wrong.
Bricklink lists them as different, I personally haven’t inspected them enough to see how big the difference is but I have thought the same before and wondered if it was just the same one. Thanks for clarifying!

I almost never think of Padme when I think of Star Wars. Maybe it's because I'm less familiar with the Clone wars, but I definitely don't think of her as a bad ass. In fact, I kinda rank her death as one of the weakest things in Star Wars.
I can totally agree with her death, cause at surface level it's so bland and felt poorly executed to me. As for the rest, big RIP but I get it. It's easy to overlook her unless the prequel storyline in particular comes to mind, otherwise it goes to Leia, which she is also a badass
The problem is that Disney thinks Padme’s costumes that show a little more skin than normal are “degrading, oversexualized, and insulting”. But that’s just not true. If anything I’d argue that her outfits throughout the prequels are empowering. It’s unfair to Padme fans, but Disney and LEGO are too woke to realize.
