    The EF341SC is one of Takamine's most well-known and beloved guitars of all time, with its gloss black finish and solid cedar top with maple back and sides. Part of our Legacy Series and played by artists ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Bruno Mars to Jon Bon Jovi and many others, the EF341SC is a wonderful guitar for any musical style, handling delicate fingerpicking and hard strums with equal elegance. In this video, acclaimed guitarist Jake Allen gives you a terrific performance on the EF341SC, and then walks you through its excellent feature set, which also includes Takamine's CT4B II preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic™ under-saddle pickup to perfectly take your studio sound to the stage.

    This guitar sounds amazing even with laminated maple body , this shows exceptional craftsmanship from the Japanese guitar makers.

      Laminate can sound better than solid wood. It matters how things are done.

      @@zvonimirtosic6171 Zvonimire, vidim po komentarima da se razumeš u gitare i imam par pitanja za tebe - da li možda imaš neku mejl adresu na kojoj bih mogao da ti se obratim?

    I should of never got rid of my old one in the early 90's. I've tried to find one with the same quality but they don't exist.

    I have seen some sites talk about this guitar as being part of the Takamine 'Keystone Series' and I have seen other sites talk about it being on the 'Legacy Series'. Does anyone know the difference?

    Sorry I didn't get..the back and sides is solid maple or laminated maple?

    • @markkumaula8136

      Top solid cedar, back and sides laminated maple. Do not underestimate because of those laminated parts.

      It's not what's used, but how it's used. Top of the shelf laminate is thinner, lighter and tougher than the solid wood. I read an article somewhere, in which a luthier from Takamine describes the virtues of laminate woods, especially for sides.

      @@zvonimirtosic6171 prije nekoliko mjeseci sam kupio Takamine EF250TK. Fantastična gitara. Bolje zvuči od Gibsona kojeg imam. Čak razmišljam o prodaji Gibsona jer ga ni ne sviram više pored sjajnog Taka.

      @@antonio.lovric I have never heard any Gibson that can outplay a good Takamine guitar. Takamines, for some "Japanese reason" I presume (incredible attention to detail), have better voicing and I would say, tighter tolerances. Nice guitar you have, btw.

      @@zvonimirtosic6171 ja sam čuo Gibsone koji su kvalitete kao i Japanski Tak. Samo što su overpriced. Ne vrijedi to tih novaca. Ovu svoju sam naručio preko Muzikera. Mislim da je bila zadnja u Europi. Dobio sam i neki popust. Kada bih komparirao s Gibsonom, onda bih trebao duplo više novaca. A to ne vrijedi. Nadalje, Takamineov pickup i preamp su top! Ni jedan Gibsonov tome ne može parirati. Eventualno LR Baggs Anthem.

    What strings do you recommend?

    • @zvonimirtosic6171
      @zvonimirtosic6171 2 роки тому

      Buy three different kinds of strings, and try them out. Then after a while, change in between strings again, because new set of strings will force instrument to vibrate differently. Something like changing gears in the car from time to time, so that the engine performs better.
