+John Kobak I would say that based on your grammar, that you are the stupid one here. "the older series *doesn't " "It was a real ........" BTW you are judging a five year show based on a blooper clip. That doesn't make sense at all.
@@jondeare I was too young to see it in its initial run but I sympathize with the cast for having to work in such rushed circumstances. This was like the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of daytime dramas. It would have been far better if they were allowed to take their time, shot more than one take of each scene, and had a better budget. It was notorious for being fast and cheap. Had to be so daunting for the actors-- to memorize dialogue rapidly, have few re-takes, and be dealing with (or bumping into) faulty props.
2:02 Kenneth McMillan wonderful veteran character actor of Ragtime and Amadeus.
"Nothing is impossible for an accomplished burger." lmao
Look at Mayor McCheese.
Poor Jonathan/Barnabas nearly had a face plant but he kept on ticking.....props were always breaking or getting in the way. Hilarious.
1:42 Dude stole Mrs. Johnson's hairstyle.
I believe the show was filmed live if I remember correctly. You flub a line you keep on going. Must have been very stressful.
They were truly pros but soooo funny. Thanks, guys.
It was not live but I think it was really expensive to stop tape so they just kept going on no matter what happened.
Oh, you uncooperative props :)
the older series don't make sense at all real stupid show

I loved the show. Now it just looks funny.

When I watched it as a kid I never noticed the bloopers. Now I think it's hilarious. It'd be great to watch these after a fifth of whiskey.
@@eduardo_corrochio You do know it lead in ratings over all other daytime soaps for several seasons.
