@@helenswan705 hi Helen 😊 I totally sympathise. Sadly the word Socialism has seen its definition distorted which I consider grossly unfair. I guess it's mainstream media who are responsible. Buy one's Doctor a gift every Christmas as thanks for their kindness and compassion throughout the year. If a fellow work colleague doesn't have quite enough money for lunch, give them some cash. To me these are all definitions of Socialism in practice. The clue is in the name. I don't think we are alone, this much gives me faith. The only thing I can think of, is an unfounded comparison with the 1930's German Socialist workers party; maybe the mainstream have latched onto this and used it to tarnish the real principles of Socialism, which I think simply involves being the kindest person one can, and striving to better oneself as a person in order to play a positive role in the community? It's a truly worrying situation if these are qualities no longer valued Helen; it sounds like you have the same outlook and upbringing as me. At least we can take comfort from this.

I now know I know less than I thought I did when I Began this fact finding, wee Truth journey, with a side order of despair and surprisingly so hope to power too, if you will.
After more than a decade of being and witnessing bullying in the workplace, by nurses to nurses.
I now notice all the terrifying adult politic stuff need not be so.
No longer feel powerless, just trying to avoid gaslighting behaviour from our nurse leadership team when I clearly stand out like a big sore thumb.
