Love it! I've tried this but the mold I used wasn't too great. Oh btw.. you said you wished you could reheat the glue and reuse it.. you can!! If you by chance have a wax melt spoon maybe? And the pot you set it on.. set it over the flame just like you would with wax.. and let it melt.. then pour it!
I can tell you that as long as your mold is heat resistant, you can stick the tip of your glue gun down into the really detailed molds to make sure your filling it in! I did that
I didn’t know that you could do anything with hot glue but put old Christmas ornaments back together. One video I saw is that you can make molds out of soda cans or just use tin foil and Sharpie to color them. 🤷🏻♀️ if you use just white or clear you can also use nail polish to color them. I definitely want to try making some of these. I'm not sure about how big I want them to be. I was thinking of little embellishments for card making. I'm also not sure what my method is going to be. Happy crafting from Phoenix, AZ. 🤗❤️
Both video's where great. The hearts are pretty. Love the butterflies. You did great my friend. Thanks for sharing such great tutorial. God bless you, hugs.
I was thinking about those being stuck in crocheted wreaths for Valentine's. or crocheted flowers with the pieces glue on top of the loli pop sticks attaching to craft wire and floral tape with the flower being wrapped around this piece with the words "I luv u" on the piece..a flower that never wilts and serves as a daily reminder
Love the bows. The whole thing looks like a lot of fun. You'd end up to you A$$ in little bits of delight before you knew it! So look at you - making a tutorial. And it was Fun...so keep it up. Let's see what you do with these! xoxo
No. I didn't know they made colored hot glue. I have been using clear glue, then painting them. Using colored glue sure would make things go faster. Thanks.
These are sooo good Jennie! Your molds are beautiful! I can’t understand why the glue sticks are so expensive in certain colors. Your color combos are killer! This is one of my favorite things to do! I use scissors to trim too and throw my scraps into a melting pot,you need one! Love you girl! Big hugs and blessings sweet friend!
Thank you so much for sharing. You are a sweetheart. I have the same glue gun as you, I think. However, my nozzle is thin like yours. Is that an extra piece you put on it or it came that way?
if you can get a hot glue melting pot you might be able to reuse them and not throw them away? amazon has some not much, love what your doing!
You could make buttons out of them 😮😊
What about a heat gun Or stick in oven on low temp to reuse messed up ones and to level out.
Yes you could do that as well. Xoxox
I use scissors as well. Don’t toss it out the “dead” pieces perfect for layers.
Oh great idea. Xoxox

Oh.. and the ones that have a dip and you said you can't use.. maybe try putting it back into the mold and filling in the dip?

I like this idea. I don’t want to go to the expense of all the resin. Can I use one of those silicone chocolate molds ?
