So I noticed something about the way the fish were hooked and how many you missed. Something to try is a stiffer rod and straight braid and the hardest of all is DO NOT SWING. 😂 it’s hard to do but if you do use that type of set up generally they will have the front hook in the mouth and the rear hook stuck to the outside of their face. At least that’s how it’s always been for me. I almost never miss a strike on the WP. They blow up and I just wind into them and let the hooks do the rest.
I just get jealous watching your awesome fishing adventures.
Would like to see a video of the rod and reel set-ups you use. Great fishing videos regardless! Keep ‘em coming!
Okay Thanks for letting me know that and thank you I appreciate it
Sick vid those smallies love that chartreuse color too.. try that
That's a nice stretch of water, lots of smallmouth. As usual great video!!
Thanks Aaron!
Just a thought, when I'm using top water I have another rod rig with a soft jerk bait. For the ones that miss the topwater.
Thanks for the tip

I know what river you're on but I'm not going to say for the protection of the fish, nice job with the smallies.
Haha thanks probably better that way and thank you!
