The breakdown of the wide variety of options was great this is fantastic for newbies especially! Great tips for looking for the right place to buy and who to work with. Get an inspection! Research, Research, Research! Great sharing!
Absolutely! (That comment was in our original recording, but we needed to shorten the video 😅) We agree, it’s best to have both new and used checked out thoroughly!
Buying “states away” to save money needs to be approached cautiously as it’s likely you’ll need support from a local dealership at some point and you may get a cold shoulder because you didn’t buy it from them.
Sorry for just responding now...traveling back form the Tetons. Yes your comment is true but this is such a shame that the RV community is not more like the auto industry where it does not matter where you purchased, they serve the warranty to same. But to be honest....we have not had great experiences with service at dealerships. I have scheduled bearing repacks with is about a 4 hour job but they say they need to rig for a week. Why cant they just scheule you fot that time...even if if was just that day....but when full timing...you have to clear out the refrigerator etc...makes no sense.
Hi Ken and Pam! Great collaborations. I love the one with the dealerships and the kinds of Rvs to choose from. I would have a hard time picking out what I want. My mom and used to go to Rv shows in Michigan a lot. It was hard picking what we liked. But it’s fun looking at them. Thank you for the collabs. Have a great weekend and see you soon!
We've thought about getting a truck camper for when Chase isn't working. Right now we full-time in our fifth wheel and we love it! Especially when Chase works cause he can take the truck to work and majority of the time I'm by myself at the camper. Great info!!
If we had a dually, we would love to have a truck camper and our fifth wheel! That would get us into some really fun of the grid places!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 😊
Great run down Guys. We just returned from Hershey & I'm RV drunk..😊. Show prices weren't as low as I had anticipated on new, but you hit the nail on the head with new older models... There are some great new things coming down the line as the industry evolves...& Interest rate may be gonna give you a break if ya need it. We are researching purchasing in the US over Canada because of better discounts, we can better control the exchange Safe travels folks & if we have any Alliance questions we will be sure to ask you...😊😊
We can imagine! Hate we missed it, but enjoyed everyone’s post and videos! Haha we are always happy to Share our experiences with our Alliance! Stay safe guys and look forward to meeting up again!!
Very good description of the different types of Rv’s. I’ve been wondering when y’all are going back into the Alliance? I agree the Lance would be the best for your Alaska trip. I’m not sure if I would want two Rv’s because of insurance and state tags in Georgia we pay property tax on the value of the Rv.
Thanks, Walter! We are still working on our plan to get back to Texas. This little one has been great for getting us in much tighter places! I (Pam) am about ready for a little more space though! 😉 Economically, it’s probably not the best thing to do, but it has been great for this year and would’ve been perfect if we had made the trip to Alaska! Awaiting the arrival of a new grand baby makes it all worth it! 🥰 Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Offer 40% off MSRP 😮 Get as close to that as you can. We ended up at 33% put a $500 no refundable deposit on it that day . I thought that was a good deal for both parties .
Truck campers are a great choice for many! They weren’t on our radar when we were looking as we are mostly full time and wouldn’t have been enough space for us. If we ever consider one, we will share anything we learn for sure!!
If you are looking to purchase a new RV we would love to help you with questions you might have.
Great information! Thank you for letting us be a part of this collaboration!

Hi Ken and Pam, great info. We are still undecided. Looking forward to hearing about the new Grandbaby.
Thanks so much, we appreciate that! It can be a difficult decision for sure! Oh, we are so excited and can’t wait to share after she arrives! 💕

Hoping for a Super C in the future. Just have to convince my other half😉
Haha! I bet he’d (wait, or is it “she’d”…😂) love one!!!! -Pam
After 4 years pulling a 40 ft wheel, we’re looking at changing over to a 34-39 ft SuperC.
That sounds like a great plan! We do love the Super Cs!! Let us know how it goes, we’d love to hear about it!!!

Good negotiation strategy. We are about that on our Alliance that we ordered and since or Lance was a 2022 holdover we did much better.
What about Truck/Campers. No one ever shows or talks about the new TC's and lots of people want to know.
