neutral ,alkaline with good drainage in soil makes this beauty low maintenance good site seen by the traffic busy street will create softer site for eyes. whenever my car stops my eyes goes straight to the plants...
Awesome presentation! Apparently we don't have this species in California (according to calflora-dot-org), but we do have several other species within the genus, including a couple that produce yellow flowers.
This species is present in California. It's just that the scientific name used here Sisyrinchium angustifolium, is a synonym for the following accepted taxa: Sisyrinchium bellum, Sisyrinchium halophilum, Sisyrinchium sarmentosum, Sisyrinchium idahoense var. idahoense, Sisyrinchium idahoense var. occidentale
