Didn’t even know this shot was stop motion! Really well done! Your work in Stop motion has really inspired me whether it was Star Wars or Robo cop etc...
Amazing. Good to see this art form still being used. Hope to see more. Well done guys
YES we need more stop motion in the mainstream

June 16 on Shudder!
it was a pleasure working on the liquid for this shot. great work everyone!
Congratulations on the release of mad god, I saw it awhile ago and it was as good as I imagined
Glad to see stop-motion used in STAR WARS shows. STAR WARS and stop-motion go well with one another.
Fantastic! And very excited to see "Mad God" when it becomes widely available. Thank you for doing this work.
that shot in particular looked very Star Warsy to me, now I know why :)
Heart-warming to see stop-motion used for vfx again!
Although CG has come a long way and overshadowed other forms, the technology and software for making practicals has also developed a lot and should be used more often
Excellent. I've always admired your work. Ray Harryhausen would be proud! Question: when will MAD GOD be available on blu-ray?
I have immense respect for stop motion animation
I can’t wait to see Mad God. Been trying to find a way to watch it (I’m in Columbus Ohio and haven’t been able to find a showing). But I saw it was coming to Shudder here soon and I couldn’t be more excited. Just saw Starship Troopers for the first time last week with some friends and it was a riot. You’re an incredible inspiration.
It look so natural. Wished we had more stop motion in film
The great beautifull of this art is, and ever will, always be reside in the fact of to be handwork.
i have to say,as cool as it is to see stop-motion being used again..i really can't tell the difference now between this and cgi
Makes me wonder what would be appropriate for stop-motion and what for CGI in the same film/show. There's even some movies where CGI and miniature models co-exist.
Nice work eh, I like it.
Respect ❤
I thought this might’ve been stop-motion!
Hugely appreciate this channel (and by proxy Tippett Studio). Your work has changed the landscape of the industry. Quick question: Will your feature Mad God have any sort of physical release on Blu Ray or DVD?
yes! there will be a limited theatrical release, streaming on Shudder, and a physical release (date TBD)
Aww, poor thing was locked outside.
Stop Motion > CGI
