I just was scrolling and this popped up. I have 3 kids with hed pancreatitis. Right now my youngest son 22 years old is currently in the hospital for his pancreatitis. The beginning of November the put a stint in his pancreas. I've heard about this surgery for a couple years now. But been praying and holding out for a miracle. They want to do this surgery for him. We also was wanting to speak or meet others that have been through this surgery. We wanted to know what kind of changes he would have to go through.
Gi doc has to referral you to a place were they will do it....I'm on the process with my daughter we live in CA we were gonna go on sep but because she is not getting any better they move it to agust just to talk to docs to see if she qualifies for TPIAT. This journey is been so heartbreaking my prayer and thoughts for all people that has pancreatitis 💕
