My flute teacher was just talking about these! It's nice to hear a song from the books to help judge which one would work for me
Interesting I should tell my friend about this.
Thank you so much for sharing. I think this is a great investment that I will look into more to progress my flute playing.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I played The Last Rose of Summer for a solo competition!

Lovely video. Thank you for your superb rendition of some of these melodic examples.
So thrilled that you are going to learn clarinet! My friend found me a clarinet for $10 at the tip where he works! I can make the sound ok, but there are sooooo many confusing keys! I will love to learn along with you.
Many thanks!
I need these books because I know how to play all of my band pieces so I have nothing to practice
Glad you brought this subject up! I was looking for something like this last year. Am still busy with your second book but if necessary I can get graded that way. Didn't know however that it was possible to do this online. Thank you Amelie.
Glad it was helpful Astrid! Happy practicing!
will you go through the AMEB books one day? i'm currently playing in AMEB grade 7 and i'd love to hear you play some pieces! they have some really beautiful ones in there
Possibly!
hi im in 9th grade and i have been playing the picc since 8th grade middle school and my 9th grade marching season and now im switching back to flute and i do not sound as good as i was because i never played flute while i was on picc, how and what do u recommend me to work on, do i have to go back to flute basics?
Perhaps start with Grade 2-3 but that is a guess. You should have a lesson with a flute teacher they would be able to advise you. I'll be releasing a video tomorrow of each grade that way you can watch it and see where you could be. Best of luck and happy practicing!
