When I took up the flute, more than 30 year ago, Trevor Wye's books were my early guides. I've taken several breaks from flute playing over the years and when I return, they continue to be my guides. My favorite quote from his earliest books is, "Possession of this book will not make you a great flutist." I have quoted him countless times and have applied this wisdom to any worthy endeavor.
Hey guys! Keep those comments rolling in! I've got a busy day ahead of me, but I WILL get to your comments sometime this weekend! :D Thanks so much for the support guys, it always brightens my Saturdays when I see you guys commenting right when I post! :D
It's because the Books 1-5 Edition is the old edition and is out of print, I'm pretty sure! Just get the Books 1-6 Edition and save some $! I don't think any of the exercises in the new edition are different than any of the ones in the old edition.
I bought mine during a flute lesson with Joanna, and I have NEVER regretted the purchase! Since I'm primarily learning on my own these books are INDISPENSABLE!!!!!
My last flute teacher, she was a piccolo specialist( she plays third flute/piccolo with Miami Symphony) and she recommended the Trevor Wye Piccolo practice book ( I love it!). She was also big on Taffanel and Gaubert along with the Andersen etudes. The teacher that I studied with during the first part of my undergrad ( she plays second flute with Miami Symphony) was big on the Marcel Moyse small melodies and the Melodious and Progressive books. Another teacher that I took a lesson with ( She's the principal flutist of Palm Beach Opera and Miami City Ballet) recommended to me the Maquarre seven daily exercises( I got the book about a month ago and I love it).😃❤
Oh, WOW! It's an honour to hear from you!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful resources you have created for flutists! I hope you're having a lovely day! :)
for Oboe, it's the Barrett Method book. Never had a good flute book, but I will try to get the Trevor Wye books since you recommend it. Your videos really help me along my musical journey
Wow - I never knew about these books until recently. I’m embarrassed to say my age, but let’s say I started playing over a half CENTURY ago. Picking up the flute after a long, long absence just to play here and there at church I might not need to drill and go back and learn, but nope, I’d like to play at my capacity, even in my dotage. Hail Mr. Wye. And thank you so much for this video explaining how to use them.
As soon as you started reading the part about catching the train, I realized that I already have parts of his book. My flute teacher had copied it for me years ago when I was struggling with my tone quality. I used to hate these exercices, but I have recently started to use them for my practice sessions again. Even as an advanced flutist, you can still benefit from these exercices.
I have studied and trained from the old TW Tone book signed by Trevor himself from a LOOOONG time ago. So glad to have found this video and inspired me to get the rest of Trevors book.
Ever since I got this book, my flute playing improved soooo much. I love it! My teacher recommanded the articulation book and that's how it all started :)
I've been watching these videos for at least a year now although I didn't play the flute. Now I got one a month ago and I'm half way through the first beginner's book by Trevor Wye, it's very nice. Sometimes I actually produce a sound ;)
Yet another example of "it's a small world". Over the past 2 weeks I have been taking classes from Jonathon Landell and one of the other students was Julian Rose. For being in the biz for 5-ish years, he had some phenomenal knowledge of flutes and their makers and Julian & Jonathon were chatting way over my head about a vast who's-who in the flute world. I was asking Julian for some advice on getting lessons given my bat-guano-crazy work schedule and he pointed you out as an internet source. I found you and your endorsement of the Trevor Wye book that Amazon Prime put in my hands by the time I returned home. Your relationship with FCNY prompted me to check them out and I decided to search out Julian (I didn't remember his last name at that point) and read his amazing bio. I'm lovin' your stuff. Keep it up! Peace!
I died laughing at the "demented banshee" got me so much...lol. But thank you for these books! I wouldn't had been able to play the all state etude without them!
Hey, thanks! I'm an adult learned on flute but not on saxophone, and your suggestions are always spot on. I'm getting a copy of this as it sounds like what I'm really looking for.
Tone-Yoga - how nice! I startet again playing flute after 20 years and want to thank you for your useful tips and the wonderful entertainment... Hope you will continue making your amazing videos for a long time!
Clarinet player here! for teaching, everyone reads Ridenour's "The Educator's Guide to the Clarinet" as for playing, Cyrille Rose's 2 Etude books are our Bible. If you're in high school or in a doctoral program you'll be studying these etudes!
His books are hardCORE but, they turned me into the great player and "Ultimate Band Fairy" I was back in middle school and HS! I haven't picked up the precioussss ( lol 😋) in about 20 years but decided to hold myself fast to practicing all the time once again... These books with definitely be in tow!! Fluters UNITE!! 😎💕✨🤘
Joanna, for your complexion, start taking Colloidial Silver, Silver Wings 15 PMM. (I use "7 Lights" google) Always buy in glass bottle, not plastic. Use spray pump. 1. Wash face with Colloidial Soap. (Amazon) 2. Then "Bragg" Apple Cider Vinegar. Pat vinegar on face to dry. Also with juice (10 oz's) in the morn, drink a shot glass full before rating. 3. Spray your face with Colloidial Silver. (Carry 4 oz in your purse.) Now, lay off the sweets, stop taking medz (Stay a way from doctors) and lay off the foundation until the skin breaths back to normal complexion. Keep this up and the miraculous will appear (Have i got a story to tell you.) What does your diet consist of??? I'll keep in touch. Jo
I am in such an epic mood. Adjusted my flute to perfection somehow, started playing in tune since today, figured out why some notes are resisting when I played them, ordered this book which makes me shit my pants but also makes me extremely excited to practice the devil out of it. Can't be better
What's the difference between a flutist and a flautist? About $100 an hour (old band joke) I have heard people say "It's flutist. I play a flute, not a flaut." :) FYI for the wondering: The Practice books 1-6 are selling on Amazon right now for $32.95, the Piccolo book is $34.12 with free shipping. There are some independent sellers who have lower prices, but high shipping. I'm putting them on my wish list for when I have the $$ to order.
I've been watching a lot of your videos. I'm in high school playing the flute in band and I was really inspired by all your content. Please keep making these videos! I really enjoy them.
Since the world is in an interesting place, I've decided to revisit my flute after 8-10 years in order to retain at least some of my sanity. And to give the lungs a workout! I have a student Yamaha flute & Trevor Wye Book 1. Anyone else here?
Hi Joanna,I love your videos .I too use the Trevor Wye books. An orchestral flute player pal recommended them to me.But as a photographer,I suggest you try an old Hollywood style of lighting for your videos.Use one light directly in front of your face but angled down so that your nose shadow falls roughly half way between your nose and your upper lip. You'll look even more beautiful this way and won't be blinded by lights from the side.(You 'd normally only set up lights to the side if you were doing a flat copy like a painting for example). The second light is redundant unless you want to soften the shadows or use it to illuminate your hair from behind you.
Joanna, thanks for explaining his books and methods so thoroughly! I've seen them in music stores and online and in your recent live stream. This helped me understand what he has to offer, because I can't afford to buy a lot of different books and methods right now. And I didn't know he had a UA-cam channel, I will have to check that out! Thanks again!
I know this has not been active for a few months, but I purchased the Trevor Wye practice books 1 - 5. I really have not used it because as an adult/self taught learner of two years, I am not sure how to use it. Do I practice bits from each section?
So a week ago I was ordering some sheet music at an online shop. I had my "financial situation" in my head so I knew I could spend 30 more chf (swiss currency, $1 is about 0.95 chf). So I remembered that you said you like the trevowlr wye books, I looked for it and I guessed I found it. It didn't have a picture of it online so I wasn't sure if I reaoly ordered the right book, but it was more expensive than the single books alone. So I guessed it had to be it. Then on wednesday I got an email from the store, they said that they don't have the sheet music I need right now, but the practice book is on the way. The book arrived yesterday and I was so happy having it. I only did the harmonics exercise because I didn't have much time. I'm so excited to practice, I have much time now since it's spring break💪
Thank you for this. I've had that book on my shelf more or less unopened for some (busy) months now. You inspired me to take it off the shelf and dive in, and also check out his channel. "Twice the improvement in half the time"--who can resist that? Happy weekend to you!
Yep, so I went to Wye's website and learned more about his colored-LED lights acrylic flute and the rare triple-flageolet. More procrastination, can't really call it productive. In a battle between my intention and my attention, no contest. I feel like a puppy distracted by a butterfly . . . Oh, look! A yellow thing! in the air! . . . I have kitten-video-brain. My `holy grails' are reflective of my musical interests: Grey Larson's Essential Guide to Irish Flute and Tin Whistle which is a honkin' $50, 500-page, 3-pound book that goes into great detail about ornamentation and articulation in this style of music. Mel Bay's Complete Book of Irish Music by Mizzy McCaskill builds a bridge into the world of Irish flute music for the Boehm flutist. Imagine my double-surprise when I attended my first Irish-flute workshop, and I was the only one there without a wooden flute. And then the instructor said, "Okay, I'll play this tune through a couple of times, and then you just follow along with me." [=o And when my flute flipped a spring, and he told me that there was probably no-one within 50 miles who could do a repair on "the machine", I knew I had truly come through the looking glass.
+Kathleen Kinney Haha, oh man! And you know what, you're the 2nd person to mention the Grey Larson book! Dude, so cool, I need to get my hands on that sometime for some quality productive procrastination!
Piano: Hanon Harp: Bochsa Etudes/Friou exercises Strings: Sevcik 19th century flute: Nicholson There's some controversy about Hanon, though. If you do it wrong, it will screw up your hands very badly, and a lot of people don't think they're worth it as a result. Personally, I'm not a fan, but they are commonly used.
For a one-key, I'd agree. Nicholson is good for classical 8-key simple system ones. I should also say that Grey Larsen's book is probably the "method book" for Irish flute, which is how most people come to the 8-key 19th century flute.
@@suek7086 Congrats! I'm 58 and used to take lessons, and still play some. But I need "structure" for practicing, and basic processes. I'm sure this resource advised by JAF is going to help me plenty! Keep playing!! :-)
The fact that the text changed makes me feel as though the message isn't conveyed as well as it could be. Good to know if I get another one of his books to watch out for new editions
I'm currently learning by the suzuki method, with the book, even. And while they're good, I've been needing something more... well, tough. I'll totally check that Trevor Wye
I purchased the 6 volume book on Amazon for $35 including shipping. It my be a little too advanced for an absolute beginner but once you can blow notes and can read a fingering chart you can begin doing the exercises. They are challenging but I'm trusting Joanna that in the long run they will be helpful.
In England, we actually say 'floortist' not 'floutist', ha ha. 8:20 - 9:03 I guess Trevor Wye's humour (humor) perhaps doesn't travel well to some places. Yes, you may groan now. Nice presentation :)
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Flynn Cash Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Joanna, I think your lights will work out. I would suggest that you do a custom white balance on your camera if you have not already. It still looks a bit off in the color department. If you have not done it, it involves taking a shot of a white piece of paper, and then telling the camera to use that as a reference for true white under that light set up! That also effects all the other colors to make them come out right. I love your videos!
I play clarinet and I feel like we have several different ones. A lot of clarinetists know the Baermann third division scale book, but the Baermann 1st/2nd divisions actually make up a really nice little method book with cool little excercises that sound great. Even the very early beginner excercises are very nice sounding, although I don't think that most of them are appropriate for "true beginners". Klosé is another good all-around method book, although I do feel like Baermann divisions 1 and 2 are kind of like "hidden jewels" in clarinet pedagogy which I really like. For tough technique excercises I feel like Kroepsch is pretty challenging. For a good all-around technique, intonation, articulation, etc. bible I really suggest the three-volume Clarinet Fundamentals book series by Reiner Wehle (who is Sabine Meyers' husband). These books are awesome for all around musical development on the clarinet.
Dude, thanks so much for taking the time to notice! I've been pretty quiet about celebrating these milestones because I'm concentrating on making great content for anyone who is visiting my channel for the first time 😊
Hi JAF, For the banjo it's Earl Scruggs and the Five String Banjo. I'm just about to start learning the flute at age 48 after years of rock guitar, bass and bluegrass banjo. Self taught all the way! I love your videos here, you seem like a real good laugh and probably a great flutist but I'm such a newb I can't tell yet :D Well, wish me luck :/
I realise I came late to the game here, but does the 1-6 book cover where to place your fingers on the instrument for all the keys and really basic stuff first. Its been a very long time since I played an instrument in general and I'm going to be working on relearning sheet music along the way. I just want to know if it starts with EXTREMELY basic stuff first that a kid could pick up as I have to relearn from the bottom up. I just want a very strong foundation from start to finish. I played the flute for close to 2 years back in high school which was in the late 90's so I'm comfortable relearning and re-playing this instrument. I know everyone learns differently so everything I said is very subjective. Sorry for the text wall.
little by little and do it a long time fit my way of learning. I am just starting flute learning. A real beginner. But I want to try and love flute music. I have not got teachers yet only a flute. I have no ideas how the pieces in the book sound like. Amazon has the book with CDs very expensive. Not sure if I can learn with the book only Should I just buy the book?
I just started flute this week and am self teaching with Trevors “Beginner flute book part 1”. So far so good! Would you recommend his tone book to compliment this one?
I HIGHLY recommend Paul Edmund-Davies' 28 day warm up book. It's incredible. My technique has been completely overhauled!!! It's a step up from the Trevor wye Such a fantastic video though Big love !! Xxxx
JustAnotherFlutist he has a website, simply flute.co.uk where he has excerpts you can download for free. But his book is seriously technical, and makes my inner geek very happy!!!!
I'm a self taught flute beginner. Played Sax with formal lessons, 30 years ago. Just purchase the Trevor Wye Practice Book 1-6. How would you suggest a practice\lesson plan for it. Should I start in at page one and work straight thru exercise by exercise to the end. Or should I work on each section simultaneously, say 15 minutes in each per practice section. I'm retired so I've got lots of time to devote. Thank you so much for creating this channel and sharing your knowledge.
You are under a REST, for holding that half rest 3 beats.... INSTEAD OF 2!!!!!!! Story Time! In a solo and ensemble contest, I got First Place in everything! And as a bonus, I got Outstanding Soloist!!!!!!!!!!
Hi I love your videos. Just ordered this. Can I say one thing about your mention of flutist or flautist? Flautist is pronounced floor-tist , hence the “what do you do with floors”. Makes more sense that way right? It’s a shame people are increasingly using flutist, but each to their own. It’s how you enjoy the flute that matters. 😀👍
hello, your videos are very entertaining and informative, I love your personality!!..I want to start learning to play the flute by myself, would these books be appropriate for a self-taught person?.. Do they start with the very basics or previous music theory knowledge is needed?. If not, would you recommend me any material to do so? :)
These books begin with a knowledge of theory and reading music. If you want a beginner book I like a beginner book by Phyllis Louke, or Breeze Easy Bk 1, or even the Rubank beginner books (I use this for adults who are just beginning not children).Hope this helps!
I had lessons from Trevor Wye in 1972 in Canterbury,England, during William Beneth flute seminary.
Hey JustAnotherFlutist ! Just out of a curious note, at the amazon.es , the 1-5 ( around 60€ ) volumes are pricier than the ones at 1-6 ( around 24€ )
It's because the Books 1-5 Edition is the old edition and is out of print, I'm pretty sure! Just get the Books 1-6 Edition and save some $! I don't think any of the exercises in the new edition are different than any of the ones in the old edition.
+Manuel João Likely it's because they are starting not to print the older edition, and therefore it's becoming rare!
ALSO, HI ABBY
I bought mine during a flute lesson with Joanna, and I have NEVER regretted the purchase! Since I'm primarily learning on my own these books are INDISPENSABLE!!!!!
HI RYAN
HI JO! ;) I agree girl! These books are so worth! Like OMG so worth!
"Time, Patience and Intelligent Work". A+++
+Phillip Warren 👍👍
I also love in the high register exercises it adds understanding neighbors. 😂

JustAnotherFlutist It's always good to see what etude books people like 😃
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I much appreciate them! With best wishes,
Trevor Wye
Oh, WOW! It's an honour to hear from you!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful resources you have created for flutists! I hope you're having a lovely day! :)
For clarinet, it's the Klosé "Celebrated Method for the Clarinet" and the Rose etudes
Booksandsuch thank you
+Booksandsuch Oh boy, lots of people are naming that one too! 😊
Booksandsuch I know a lot of Clarinetists and they all mention the Rose Etudes
nicole havent heard of that one yet
for Oboe, it's the Barrett Method book.
Never had a good flute book, but I will try to get the Trevor Wye books since you recommend it. Your videos really help me along my musical journey
I bought the 6th book a couple of weeks ago - wowwww it has seriously worked miracles for my playing!!
Wow - I never knew about these books until recently. I’m embarrassed to say my age, but let’s say I started playing over a half CENTURY ago. You should write a book! It'll be my holy grail😉
Hahaha, the idea has crossed my mind... 😛
JustAnotherFlutist OMG IF U EVER WRITE A BOOK I NEED IT SO BAD
Yes, please do!!! I'd pre-order!! 😁
I haven't played in many many years, but I recently purchased a new flute and the 6 book compilation. My first college teacher started us on these.

+Markus Peters That's super awesome! I've taught out of his beginner books, and they are FANTASTIC. Keep up the great work! 😊
I found the same exact book (the one that has 6 books in it) at Barnes and Nobles for only $15.99!
I just ordered one of these sort of sight-unseen. After watching this I'm very anxious for it to show up!
Hi! I just received my Trevor Wye book. I ordered from Amazon. Can't wait to incorporate it in my practice
i really want these books for christmas! i’m looking at books because i really want to improve and this is extremely helpful! thank you!

Trevor Wye is hilarious! Thanks for including his video.
I am in such an epic mood. Adjusted my flute to perfection somehow, started playing in tune since today, figured out why some notes are resisting when I played them, ordered this book which makes me shit my pants but also makes me extremely excited to practice the devil out of it. Can't be better

I bought his book with CD too. You are a brilliant instructor. Thank you. 😊 🙏

FarfalleAlfredo In the U.S., people say Flutist and in the U.K., they say Flautist
+FarfalleAlfredo Yep! I'm seeing different prices depending on where you're ordering from, so definitely keep an eye on those prices!
IMO, it's worth paying a little more to know you're getting it from a reputable seller...and free shipping :D
The Art of French Horn Playing by Philip Farkas. Antiquated but still essential for horn players. I just ordered the first Wye book.
I love your videos Joanna! You are so helpful, thank you. 😊🙏
I've been watching a lot of your videos. I'm in high school playing the flute in band and I was really inspired by all your content. Please keep making these videos! I really enjoy them.
Please make a video about the low Bb foot joint.
yes. this actually exists
:)

Hi Joanna, thanks for the very informative and funny videos. Do you mind doing a guide on how to best use these Trevor Wye method books?
In trumpet we call those harmonics "lip slurs" and they are fun!
For me it's definitely Hanon exercises for piano. Went through that book for at least 6 times in the spam of 9 years. (and hi Joanna!)
As a study book The Complete Method by Carl Baermann for the clarinet has been the go to.
Joanna, thanks for explaining his books and methods so thoroughly! I've seen them in music stores and online and in your recent live stream.
Thanks for sharing your thought on Trevor Eye's flute method books.
Piano: Hanon
Harp: Bochsa Etudes/Friou exercises
Strings: Sevcik
19th century flute: Nicholson
There's some controversy about Hanon, though. If you do it wrong, it will screw up your hands very badly, and a lot of people don't think they're worth it as a result. Personally, I'm not a fan, but they are commonly used.
THE HOLLY GRAIL of flute playing before XVIII century I would say is Quantz treaty about flute playing
For a one-key, I'd agree. Nicholson is good for classical 8-key simple system ones.
I should also say that Grey Larsen's book is probably the "method book" for Irish flute, which is how most people come to the 8-key 19th century flute.
+Manuel João oh! I've heard of that one! Been curious to check it out myself!
+Janis Cortese oh boy, thanks for sharing! 😊
I love the Monument Valley totem plushyyy!
I'm definitely buying Trevor Wye...I need something like this in my life :-)
I just ordered it. I am just getting back to playing and am almost 69. I used to be very good but now, not so much, except for quite simple pieces.
@@suek7086 Congrats! I'm 58 and used to take lessons, and still play some. But I need "structure" for practicing, and basic processes. I'm sure this resource advised by JAF is going to help me plenty! Keep playing!! :-)
I only have book 1, but it's indispensable. I do like the way he writes, it does feel like he's actually talking to you
+Titanandenceladus Right?! I love him
The fact that the text changed makes me feel as though the message isn't conveyed as well as it could be. Good to know if I get another one of his books to watch out for new editions
Excellent video.
I'm currently learning by the suzuki method, with the book, even. And while they're good, I've been needing something more... well, tough. I'll totally check that Trevor Wye
The Trevor Wye Practice Book now comes with a CD. I really need to hear a great flutist play.
Brilliant!!! Purchasing them now!!!
HURRAY!! You'll love them!!
I purchased the 6 volume book on Amazon for $35 including shipping. It my be a little too advanced for an absolute beginner but once you can blow notes and can read a fingering chart you can begin doing the exercises. They are challenging but I'm trusting Joanna that in the long run they will be helpful.
I play the violin and I find that the Suzuki books are the best. Great books!
For Clarinets I also recommend the Uhl studies book 1 &2. Don't don't jump ahead with those - work your way through!!! No cheating !!
X
Hahahaha, if there's one thing I learned about method books, it's that it's about _training_ rather than _GET EVERYTHING PERFECT RIGHT NOW_! 😉
I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Kase Keaton Instablaster :)
@Flynn Cash Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Flynn Cash It worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account :D
@Kase Keaton you are welcome :D
Loving the lighting and all that good stuff!!
+Anhhuy Do Aw, thanks! Still working on it 😊
New lighting? Looks fabulous.
YUP! Still fiddling with their placement and my camera's manual settings... I talk about it some more at the end of this video ;)
100% agree!!
Trevor has only 805 subscribers. Schade. Now 806. Everybody show his channel some love!
Your video looks wonderful.
Yup, already did that, but it's still a bit off. Kinda bothers me, but I'll figure it out eventually! Thanks for the input though :)
yes i have the first trevor wye book the blue one very good
Yup, I have this, so big that stands sink under the weight of it 👍👍 my flute teacher gave it to me as present after I did my grade 8
I literally put all my Trevor Wye books on my stand that day, poor thing was working so hard to support them all!!
I didn't even notice it had sunk until I turned around to get my picc and I turned back around again and it was at waist height 😂😂
I loved this video oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!💗💗💗
You sold me the practice books and "how to be a proper flutist", thank you! Let's see how it compares to the Rubank!
+Duncanmn This is seriously so cool. Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
I love all the Trevor Wye books. Thanks for sharing. Can you please review the Yamaha 677 HCT flute?
+Engie Willow On the list! 😊
Thanks for the video!
+Nishiana You're welcome! 😊
love the Trevor Wye Book!
+Stella Foster 😍😍
To all: something like the Wie books for the SAXOPHONE? Thanks!
HAHA!! Oh gosh! when you read the part "it is unwise to start off your day on the piccolo like a demented banshee"
I KNOW, HAHAHAHA, I fell in love with Trevor Wye even more after reading that!
Hey 23k subs. Congrats also support from Japan and Puerto Rico
Dude, thanks so much for taking the time to notice! I've been pretty quiet about celebrating these milestones because I'm concentrating on making great content for anyone who is visiting my channel for the first time 😊
I love the monument valley plushie
Hi JAF, For the banjo it's Earl Scruggs and the Five String Banjo. I'm just about to start learning the flute at age 48 after years of rock guitar, bass and bluegrass banjo. Self taught all the way! I love your videos here, you seem like a real good laugh and probably a great flutist but I'm such a newb I can't tell yet :D Well, wish me luck :/
For the Saxophone it's the Universal Method for the Saxophone
What do you think of the Moyse books?
+Brooklyn Rae That stuff is gold!
I think Wye made the Moyse ideas a little more palatable here and there. It would be fantastic if you could make a video on Moyse
What exactly is it that you do with floors? 😂
+Laurence Espallardo So good! 😂
I am starting to play my flute but I need a recommendation for etude books.
I HIGHLY recommend Paul Edmund-Davies' 28 day warm up book. It's incredible. My technique has been completely overhauled!!! It's a step up from the Trevor wye
Such a fantastic video though
Big love !!
Xxxx
+Stephanie Richards Heyyyyy, that's one I haven't heard of yet! Thanks for sharing, will check it out! 😊
Thank you so much for creating this channel and sharing your knowledge.
i need that book
IT IS LIFE
Hello ! Thank you for your videos ! Do you know how to do circular breathing ?
You are under a REST, for holding that half rest 3 beats.... INSTEAD OF 2!!!!!!! Story Time! In a solo and ensemble contest, I got First Place in everything! And as a bonus, I got Outstanding Soloist!!!!!!!!!!
+The Board Game Mage THERE YOU GO AGAIN 😂😂😂
I've just ordered book one with cd 🙂
Hi! Did the cd helped u somehow? Or is ok the single book?
HI, I really enjoy your video reviews !! What do you think of Azumi Flutes with Altus head joint Sterling.?? Thanks,
Chava
Hi I love your videos. Just ordered this. Can I say one thing about your mention of flutist or flautist? Flautist is pronounced floor-tist , hence the “what do you do with floors”. Makes more sense that way right? It’s a shame people are increasingly using flutist, but each to their own. It’s how you enjoy the flute that matters. 😀👍
Does someone have it on PDF?
Hey Joanna! I love those stars in the background, any idea where you got them? Thanks!
hello, your videos are very entertaining and informative, I love your personality!!..I want to start learning to play the flute by myself, would these books be appropriate for a self-taught person?..
