Nah Steve specifically said I don’t trust the rebuild cuz the carbon tub was cracked. I also think goonzsquad paid too much for this car imo, but they are doing for UA-cam vids so it probably makes sense.

Serge is a stellar autobody mechanic guy, his Knowledge Base is off the charts. He never seems to look at a manual, its all from memory. He sees the problem or issue and attacks it. I'm truly impressed. He will take a pile of batterd junk and rebuild it like new. Of course the brothers are amazing too. Great duo with Serge.!!

A McLaren Senna is indeed what the body concerning completely built out of carbon. It is known that you can simply push a part in it because the car has been made as light as possible to maximize the power. Also in Europe there are very few bodyshops who can repair the damage to a McLaren. It’s really clever from Real Life Exotics that they think they can repair this car. So I’m very keen to learn how they will proceed
I bet that car will set in his shop for months.

Very interested to see the senna repair - considering The Hamilton Collection refused to fix it out of major safety concerns and I’m sure they said it would never be signed off my mclaren as safe due to the structural integrity of the monocock structure

@@alexsenin3632 you clearly dont know how carbon fibre works. It can have many cracks that are not visible and these cracks will propogate over time and can cause the whole structure to crack/shatter. Carbon doesnt deform like alu or steel.
Nah I mean insurance gave it a salvage title, so after it’s fixed and inspected it can be driven again. Steve was just concerned about the carbon tub, he said he would have fixed it but cuz of that it was a no for him. Mclaren has nothing to do with signing it off all up to the state when they apply for the new title/registration. The only thing Mclaren will be signing off on is the parts that need to be ordered, which my guess it would probably take over a year to see this thing finished as they probably don’t have senna parts sitting on shelves.
