This was a fun watch along. Conrad and Tony have great chemistry as always. Royal Rumble 90 was fun. It was cool hearing the back story of how Tony would work this show at the last minute.
I like this show the best of the three, primarily because they blend seriousness with fun. Tony is the man. I hope he's making decent money from the show and legitimately having fun doing it.
The Orlando arena this set up everything for wrestlemania 6 which I attended Toronto only one hour away from Buffalo ny when they announced wrestlemania was coming to Toronto I damn near had A heart attack this was before the internet so the element of surprise was alive and well I'm 39 now I've been a wwf fan since 1987 I've been to so many house shows between buffalo niagara falls Toronto Rochester and Hamilton all within a hour of buffalo Hogan almost always no showed when advertised he broke my heart so many times as a kid the best thing growing up was every Christmas I would only ask for wwf tickets because every year the wwf would come to Niagara falls convention center either December 26 27 28 or Toronto maple leaf gardens on the 26th so I would always get the best seats available such great memories.
Jason Gossett Conrad has tried too much over the past few months to be the star of this podcast. He drifts into pointless stories when they’re discussing shows and just babbles on with his attempts to be funny. Conrad is funniest when he doesn’t try to be.
Why are they shitting all over The Hammer? He was a great worker and was over big in the late 70's early 80's as a main event heel in NWA WWF and so on. He was a pretty good talker in those days too.
Not only that... Valentine had Jimmy Hart as a mouthpiece and much like most of the great managers in WWF at that time, they could get heat on anyone. I was 9 years old when this event happened and I remember the Ronnie Garvin/Greg Valentine feud. I remember being into it as a kid. It's really the only thing I remember from Ronnie Garvin's stint in WWF they put a lot of time into it. Listening to Conrad talk about this match boring him as a kid and he wanted ''the stars''... I don't know how much I buy that you were such a huge WWF fan at this time.
Outside of maybe The Dream Team tag title run and his IC title run, both of which I was too young to experience first hand... this was the most Valentine had been featured on WWF television. The leg guard gimmick being used to make people submit to the figure 4, was a featured part of the weekly shows as was this running feud with Garvin. Rhythm and Blues (which was just terrible) and Valentine turning face were the only other noteworthy things that happened with him following this.
Sherri Martel was awesome, making fun of the other woman, can't make fun of the Wahmen today because they so strong that they're fragile as thin glass & we'll break to even worked criticism. Hammer & Garvin was nice i agree with Tony, i think Conrad prefers the 1,000 spot fest arcade style wrestling.
One of my favorite WWF events ever. As a kid I must have rented this VHS probably 100 times from our video store. Too bad this is one of the more shittier podcast shows from these guys.
This was yet another episode Conrad ruined. He chimes in every few minutes with a pointless bullshit story, even wanting to play a Adam Sandler song at one point.
Vinnie Vincent Conrad was better when he was the sidekick. Now he wants equal footing. He really seems like a good dude, but he also has an inflated ego.
Mean Gene with The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and Virgil! 25:03 Virgil is counting our bills getting ready for some of that meat sauce, that's my fuck money right there! 25:59
Get em Tony. As far as wrestling JCP > WWF.. he alluded to it “ why didn’t Ultimate Warrior and Hogan draw a lower number?” Reason.. never made anyone else look good.
WOW these 2 doing the Rumble promo impressions 😂 Bulldog & Tito always with some of the worst white meat babyface Rumble promos...”29 other men, gonna Do my best to throw them over the top, I can’t predict I’m gonna win but I’ll try really hard cause I’m a generic good guy and don’t have much to say. I’m only here to make up the numbers so we could get to 30 wrestlers here tonight. And There is no bull...in this British Bulldog (or ARIBA!-Santana)
Sorry I like the garvin vs valentine match as a kid it told a story. Also to me valentine was Over because he was believable as a badass. He also had a good look. He did draw as the ic champ in wwf and big time in mid Atlantic. Just like his dad he was believable.
This podcast has run it's course. Making jokes about wrestlers being dead then a disgusting joke about Joey Morella. They didn't even say Hadley anything about the Rumble.
Oh certainly. But when that friend keeps doing it because its funny to pick at me about everything, i would eventually pop him and say stfu or get some new material.
@@nintendofan6099 any evidence for that bullshit? If Dave Meltzer, for example, got shit wrong most of the time he wouldn't be in his fourth decade of being a lauded expert analyst. Matthew Singh-Dosanjh Aw someone getting offended. Did I make front of you're boy? I didn't say he got wrong all the time. Of course he is in the buisness this long because people read his shit. What I can't stand about him is the same reason why Eric and Tony and Bruce can't stand about him. He thinks that he is so smart and knows what a company is thinking and doing when he isn't even there backstage. He is like a Smart fan douche no wonder you and Conrad like him. He is you. And it's not just me a lot of people in these comments have expressed feelings where they don't like Meltzer.

I've only met two wwe superstars when I was a kid. John tenta ( earthquake ) and davey boy smith ( the British bulldog ) tenta was a bit like virgil ( there was no queue to meet him ) and I can't say I've ever met a nicer guy who took time to speak to a 15yr boy for 20 min about wrestling ie sitting on Damien wonderful man but the bulldog was totally diffrent he wanted £15 for 1 poloroid photo and moved you so quick you had no time to ask anything greedy bastard 😂
Shawn Michaels greatest of all time? Conrad, you're drunk. Bushwhackers were awesome as a kid! Conrad has the worst taste in wrestlers. Did Conrad ever donate to Virgil's GoFundMe campaign to make him a millionaire?
jeez, this podcast could be so much better, it's a shame really. you guys barely talk about anything that could be interesting, you don't even need Tony , do you? To simply just watch a program and talk over it and the attempt of comedy just fails. sorry but if you have a legend like Tony , who was apart of all topics covered, to just blather on is such a waste.
Nick Nil It’s just Conrad that is the problem. He is a Jackass all the time and gets hurt when you don’t agree with him. Tony at least tries to talk the subject at hand while Conrad is a asshole every podcast. Like you said these shows could be great if it wasn’t for Conrad
Why the hell are they so good and perfect at those on the fly promos? Genius.
Conrad as Akeem in the cover picture is so perfect I didn't notice at first...
Thanks for this guys! Love the golden era!
5:40 shit gets going down greetings from Buffalo ny
This was a fun watch along. Conrad and Tony have great chemistry as always. Royal Rumble 90 was fun. It was cool hearing the back story of how Tony would work this show at the last minute.
Royal Rumble 1990 is my favorite Royal Rumble all time
I marked out to the Jay and Silent Bob reference there. "Would you fuck me, I'd fuck me". I forgot all about that scene lmao.
20:06 exactly how I was 😂😂
I like this show the best of the three, primarily because they blend seriousness with fun. Tony is the man. I hope he's making decent money from the show and legitimately having fun doing it.

Yeah I grew up and still live in Boston. Wwf was ALWAYS in the northeast I went to 3-5 shows a year with my dad and brother
Right from the entrances there’s no better event to make the most insignificant entrants look like stars. Till they get to the ring 😂
OMFG😂😂😂😂😂 I can't stop laughing about Conrad's Silence Of The Lambs impression! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 HOLY CRAP, THAT'S HILARIOUS!
Probably one of the funniest episodes ive heard.
The first half was, second half was bullsht
Wow!!! Conrad whining about being paid to watch wrestling
I've always thought and felt Warrior should've won this Rumble. It would've made perfect sense when u think about it.
Agreed. Would have made more sense than Hogan winning.
Good stuff
I love the photoshop of Conrad as Akeem
5:47 Father Time's eliminations in the Royal Rumble of life.
Wonder if they're even watching the rumble...doesnt sound like it.
The Wrestler with Mickey Rouke was good.
kayfabe the hj thing is so underrated
Chico Santana as Jesse Ventura called him, wrestled in Georgia Championship Wrestling
Does pulling a Lanny poffo now fall under the don't try this at home category
Conrad checked out the last hour. To much dead air. Tony had to carry the last hour. Started out good but probably their worst show they've done.
Jason Gossett Conrad has tried too much over the past few months to be the star of this podcast. He drifts into pointless stories when they’re discussing shows and just babbles on with his attempts to be funny. Conrad is funniest when he doesn’t try to be.
Awful. Just awful show.
2:12:54 how come hogan didnt draw a 1 lol

@@michaelchristopher8541 yea at the time even now I thought it was a good match between two solid workers.
John Easton Conrad once called Valentine underrated in an earlier show. At this point, Valentine was just lost in the WWF shuffle.

Dude I don't get it, Garvin and The hammer was a damn good match I enjoyed it then and still love it today!!
This is my first time listening to this and I am now a slapdick
Conrad doing the Ultimate Warrior = Grimlock
Can anyone explain why this is the only video I can't play in the background
I'll never look at Lanny Poffo the same way again...
I love The Bushwhackers
Valentine vs Garvin was a damn good match wtf
They barely talk about the event
Why is conrad so mean to Tony? Hurts my heart.
Why is Schiavone so mean to Dave Meltzer?
Dino bravo looks so blown up he needs to stop smoking cigarettes
He's blown up like the World Trade Center

Just heard the Tony and Conrad royal rumble promos, so got damn funny. Please make that part it's own clip.
Conrad is never funny he’s annoying, fat and gross
His talking over promos and trying to be funny was cringe
JIMMY HART'S TIKI DECK!
22:01
1:41:24
Those promos were fucking epic.
Fwiw .. I enjoyed Garvin vs Valentine

Mike Debrocky Who are you?
fuck yeah Ride Along 2!!!!
Tony doing the mock promos is hilarious, Conrad not so much
Vinnie Vincent So true.
Tony doing Bruce Prichard was so damn funny
Vinnie Vincent Conrad was better when he was the sidekick. Now he wants equal footing. He really seems like a good dude, but he also has an inflated ego.
I never laughed so hard when Tony asked, why didn't hulk hogan or the ultimate warrior draw a low number. Maybe a 1 or a 2 lol.
If you're not 7th you're last !! Greetings from the best city in the world Buffalo ny
As someone who lives about a half an hour from you... I hope you're being sarcastic.
Herc The Jerk nope !! Love buffalo
Conrad how dare you sully the names of Greg Valentine and Ronnie Garvin! LOL
That wasn't Joey Marella, it was Danny Davis.
Mean Gene with The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and Virgil!
25:03
Virgil is counting our bills getting ready for some of that meat sauce, that's my fuck money right there!
25:59
Get em Tony. As far as wrestling JCP > WWF.. he alluded to it “ why didn’t Ultimate Warrior and Hogan draw a lower number?” Reason.. never made anyone else look good.
Tony is fantasizing Marisa Tomei in the movie, The Wrestler!
2:43:27
Sounds like you read the dirt sheets too much! Lol

These two crack me up..
Want to nominate Kayfabe the Hj for best comment of the whole podcast

O MY GOD. I ALSO HATE COMEDY MUSIC. LOVE YA TONY!
"This crowd is deader than Joey Marrella" 😂
3...2...1...play. Forearm...
😂
It sucks that 90% of this rumble is dead
less bs talk and more previewing the matches. i have to skip way to much to avoid the annoying voices, cussing, etc
ahahahahahahahaaa.. Conrad's Jim Duggan. hahahahahahaaaa.. I actually pee'd a little it was so funny.
Anti SJW= fascist.
Meat Sauce and Fuck Money 25:52
Noooooooooooo
This podcast has run it's course. Making jokes about wrestlers being dead then a disgusting joke about Joey Morella. They didn't even say Hadley anything about the Rumble.
Jesus Conrad I can't believe you said deader than Joey marella. Now that's a t-shirt.
Ian Daddybones Deader than than 83 Weeks.
More Hacksaw impersonation.
Hoooo 👍
WWF was better than Crockett/Turner.
im ready should be epic!
Let's roll #slapdicks! LOL
This was such a great Rumble and great time for WWF. WWE is pure dog shit today.
Bullshit- the Hulkamania era was fucking dreadful in terms of match quality. Today's WWE is vastly superior from an in-ring perspective.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 today's wrestling couldn't carry the Golden Era's sweat bucket
3 hours of conrad dumping on tony. Every joke is just some lame tony insult. I have nothing to say so im gonna make fun of how tony speaks.
Rich Hinton Conrad is ruining this podcast. He puts forth the effort with Prichard and Bischoff and just mails it in with Schiavone.
Oh certainly. But when that friend keeps doing it because its funny to pick at me about everything, i would eventually pop him and say stfu or get some new material.
Yeah, you’re right. It’s bordering the line of busting balls and ragging on him.
Why the hell are you listening? Thats the show...
