Do you have to discount the battery when working on it ? Or do you have to program it because I took it to a shop and they said I had to pay to program it after replacing ?
I can’t find the part but I searched it up and for a abs vsa module it’s going for 2k is that what you payed? I was thinking of going to the dealer to read my code not sure what it could be but you think I should just scan it my self or it’s best off to go to a dealer

I got 2008 tsx same .. I changemy vyy solenoid sensor idle went away but vsa check engine lights stays on i move all codes with computers but lights turn back on
Hi 5.0beast I see that you had the srs lights on with the passenger light on blinking we’re the hazard light switch is at. Did you get that fixed or noticed what the issue for that was? I’m having the same issue with mine as well with the vsa light on.
So for the VSA I have only the triangle light on but not the VSA light, do you think I will have the same problem as you? Because I press the VSA button and the light doesn’t come on or off.
@@Civic3M1 no i don't think its the same problem it might be your vsa button or it might need programming. Read your codes so you can get a better idea.

Yeah it does have too match. There's 4 different depending on your year there's 1 for 04-05 manual and 1 for automatic. 1 for 06-08 for manual and 1 for automatic

Was bleeding the brake system necessary in order to remove the lights on your dash or was that just a precaution you took and did it?
Yea it was necessary since i took all the lines off from the abs module.

I did disconnect battery. I didnt have too do any programing it was plug and play.
What model camera do you use to film and what do you use to hold it?
I use a gro pro 6 and a go pro head band.

I pay like 200 for the part from lkq got lucky to find one you gotta keep and checking and you can scan yourself for codes and go from there.

Delete all codes and see what code comes back on
What year is your TSX? I have 2005 and what part number?
Its a 2008 and theres a few different part numbers depending if you have auto or manual and change from 2006 to 08

What code are you getting after you reset the codes. It can be your vsa switch or switch might just need the neutral position memorization.

The srs light was on cuz car had a small accident and seatbelt buckle broke and had to clean srs module

5.0beast i run the code and is telling me is a sensor logic malfunction. And left wheel speed sensor.
@@Civic3M1 its probably just the sensor then have clean or replaced it and the logic code should go away when you replace speed sensor.

Do you have any codes? Or did you damage a sensor when you replaced Brakes.
No I did not damage any breaks I put new breaks and add break oil light went off

You won't have abs or traction control i believe its the same if you disconnect or leave it on.

Its that the only code you getting if it is try just a reset all codes and and if it comes back you gotta test module for voltage
@@Eldela5.0 Replaced the ABS pump today and it's all good now. Just an 84-01 code, need to adapt the ECU to the new VSA sensor.
You can reset it with a scanner and it should go away or do the neutral position memorization procedure
