Gardenia in the key of C minor and uses a blend of minor scales including the C Phrygian Mode, C Blues Scale, C Natural Minor Scale, and C Minor Pentatonic Scale.

This song was playing when I got my first tattoo when I was 18, my love for this band and style began that night. My artist told me all about them and gave me welcome to sky valley I listened to it religiously

Got any tips on my guitar tone? With my LP style guitar it sounds kind of muddy when i keep droning the e string. I am using a Big Muff or Carcosa Fuzz for dirt.

It often just comes down to experimentation. A few ideas: Try dialing back the gain on your amp or running into the amp set right at the edge of breakup. Roll back the volume or gain on the pedals. Try tuning the EQ on your amp. Make sure you're using an appropriate string guages. Experiment with different speaker cabs (makes a huge difference), etc. Just lots of experimentation.
I don’t have a favourite song… but if I did it would probably be this! What amazed me most is that the best riff is probably the outro one… what a drop. Like dance music almost. Great video yet again lads.

sounds great, man... love this song... however... I read that Josh always played on the neck pickup with Kyuss, like 90% of the time...
He did. Just found my rig sounded more accurate on the bridge pickup with the tone rolled off. In live footage he’s always on the neck.
