Kel's file organization system is incredible. Similar to what we did in my workplace. Here's a diff simpler way to do it if you were as lost as I was: You can create a code system depending on what you do, first digits should be the year to be easy to find so for this year 24. you can also number each quarter/season of the year, either 1/2/3/4 or just 1/2 for winter/autumn and summer/spring so you won't have to remember which exact month you worked on each piece. then, if for example you say logos are 1, posters are 2 branding is 3 etc, you can name them 2423_01 then _02 etc. So the code 2423_01 means 2024 summer/spring branding. Just write your codes down somewhere maybe :") that's all!!
For the organizing fonts question, I usually have a list of fonts for specific projects written somewhere or I use the libraries tab in Adobe, which also can be accessed through Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I mostly use Libraries for colors but yeah, you can use fonts and graphics too and add them under folders
the talk of livestreams on adobe fonts reawakened the memory of elliot's 2021 Behance Live stream(s?). you guys should give that a go again would be awesome. thanks guys love the pod
Hey Elliot I HIGHLY recommend you listen to the album Talahomi Way by The High Llamas. I'm serious when I say that if I knew voodoo magic I would have you listen to it just to make sure you didn't miss out on it. Especially since your song of the week was Cookie Bay.
an ssd doesnt have a disk so wont die if you drop it like a hhd will. ssds last longer and are faster. i have an ssd which has all my files and i make programs save to the ssd. then i have a hhd for backup and use a free program to back it up.

NOTED!!
I had to watch the file organisation part twice. It felt complicated. But I needed some structure, cause mine is a dumpster.
