The bg audio was too quiet, which is better than having it too loud. Around the 18 minute mark it should be back to normal. Again, I appreciate your comments on how I can better present this information going forward and if there are any topics/subjects you would like me to touch on. Time Stamps: 01:00 - The aim of going to the Black Forest 01:58 - How to find a burial chamber 02:33 - How to mark the map 04:12 - Finding our first burial chamber 04:37 to 15:20 - Burial Chamber Walkthrough 15:33 - Building our first smelter and kiln 16:40 - Prepping for Copper mining 17:45 to 20:20 - Digging out the copper node 20:23 VIKING ORGASM 21:34 - Where to find Tin in the Black Forest 22:33 - How to make bronze
You're being overly critical of yourself man. Own the lip smacking it's not bothersome. Watched your beginner guide and this one and found them very useful. Can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work!
I really appreciate the kind comment, but the lip smacking is something that bothers me personally. I look forward to improving my videos and thanks again for taking the time to comment!
I seem to have bad luck. Every time I've gone into the black forest, a shaman or troll has been waiting. Then I have to do a corpse run back and hope I don't meet another shaman on the way.
Been bouncing off of this game for over a year after multiple attempts at starting and it just not grabbing me, despite everyone telling me its my kind of game, gonna give it another go thanks to your videos. Hope you continue the series, very informative and pleasant to watch, thanks for making them.
Thank you for the help, hard to find good relevant videos for this game since it came to game pass... either way I am totally loving it currently playing solo. Your videos helped a lot thanks again!
To add a few things: Putting a Campfire inside the entrance to the Burial Chamber is a solid idea, but be careful about sitting too close to it; with how low the ceilings in those tombs are, you can start getting smoked out while trying to dry off/get your Rested Buff. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out where your "Epic Ghost Showdown" music came from. It's the freaking Super Metroid boss theme. Took me 5 minutes to remember because my dumb brain kept insisting it was from Final Fantasy. >.< Yeah, whatever Wiki you were looking at is full of crap. Skeletons DO respawn near the entrances to Burial Chambers, but only 1 or 2 every few days. Not a reliable source of Bone Fragments, unfortunately. Aside from Surtling Cores, you really do want to smash every Skellington you come across. You need Bone Fragments for all kinds of upgrades early on: the Club, making and upgrading the Leather Cape, upgrading your Leather Armor, crafting the Troll Leather, and there's also a Shield and the Stagbreaker sledgehammer that use 'em. Wherever you plop your Kiln and Smelter down, it's a really good idea to place a couple of chests nearby to hold raw ores, wood, coal, excess Cores, and smelted ore. This stuff is all really heavy so it's nice to have chests handy when you get near the weight limit. Placing Wood and Coal Piles on the ground is also helpful if you have room on the ground; it saves on chest space and you can pick up a full stack of wood or coal or stone easily by "deconstructing" the pile with your Hammer. Mining a gentle slope out of your Copper Quarry and then building a Cart down there is an efficient way to be able to pick up all copper at once (instead of running up and down from quarry to chest 15 times). You'll want the cart anyway to haul the entire load of Copper/Tin back to your base. Again, 1 cart trip versus running mindlessly back and forth, your call. Last tip! I like to build a long Stake Wall near my Kiln/Smelter, put a normal Wall on top of it, then make a 26 degree roof about 5 sections long. Place the Furnace in the middle. Now you can still use it (since it's "covered" by the 26 degree roof) and you have lots of space to put the Upgrade pieces next to it without cluttering up the inside of your base. All the Ore is already out here; why bother hauling it back inside all the time?
I added music credit to the description. And yes, all the tips you mentioned are very noteworthy. When it came to recording, I was pushing more for getting things done quicker to show the process of getting through the Black Forest rather than worrying about setup and minute details (i.e. setting chests near smelters)
The audio was very quiet, had to turn up my speakers quite a bit. I also FORGOT about this when clicking the next video... :'D Thanks for the video anyway!
I'd love to see a guide on the swamp. I know there are many guides already, but I like your previous vids on valheim and it'd be cool to see you do it. I'm a new player and I'm terrified of the swamp haha, me and my friend encountered an abomination the first thing we did when we went there the first time!
That's something I'm working towards for sure. I know the swamp can be intimidating but the next video will cover some simple tips to make things easier.
Found this very helpful dude thank you will you be covering more of this game I really hope so man as I find your guides most helpful overs are sort of rushed an all over the place an is that sound track from oblivion I know it's from one the elder scrolls 😊
I've probably become addicted to this game which is a problem cause I work a full time job... But nonetheless great guide and appreciate the thought that went into it!
Nice series so far. I’ve not git very far with this game in the past and have held off reinstalling this time until Mistlands happened. Now of course I just need a good excuse and your vids might be just the ticket. :) Quick question… would you ever want to keep one of those spawners alive to farm Skeleton bits? Dangerous in there of course, but is it a thing possibly? Badger
Skeleton respawn everyday no matter what, always 1 they will try to kill anything near the tomb.. I let them live if it is close to my base as they kill boar, deer etc and all i have to do is walk out every morning and collect the goods.. if they are not there they are chasing something or something killed them.
Cool videos dude, exactly what I was looking for after my first day of playing this game on xbox. A little too grindy for my taste, but seems good enough. Will there be a part 3?
Happy to hear it, this game can be a bit grindy but in a way it offers less grind than some other popular survival games. I have been busy with some personal stuff, but I do have a video in the works.
the vegvisir word sounds a lot like sweadih vägvisare whitch translates to wayshower something that shows the way somewhere also the G in veg is hard its not vedjvisir its vegvisir

New to Valheim. Bought it on Xbox Series X on release day. This video was super informative! Thanks very much, brother!
Skall!
Me and my friends have started playing this on series x. We're absolutely loving the game! Appreciate the videos to steer us in the right direction
Me too!

I'm always happy to look up a guide and
1: see that its less than 30 minutes
2: its not a letsplay
well-done
Great guide man. Playing for the first time in xbox and this helps a lot!
Great video! Thank you very much! 🌟
The elder scrolls music just works with everything

Survival games are not for everyone, but I'm glad you are willing to give it a try!

I cannot believe that i missed this game when it first came out. Its incredible, and your guides are very helpful
Good vid man, new subscriber earned.

If you hit the deposit from the top, it is more efficient
just a tip, blunt isn't so good against ghosts. axes work better.

Digging the Skyrim music
Nice vid, just picked up valheim a couple of days ago. Been loving it, but man It can have you lost on what to do next. Cheers brother
Happy to hear that you're enjoying it, it's always good to take the time to explore the game and find out things for yourself if possible.
U have Streemer loot bro 2 of my first B.C back to back had no cores

I do enjoy the skyrim music

It's basically old Norse/modern Icelandic. "Vegvísir"
I don't know if you're still playing this or not but did you find or Is there a way to put the Dodge / roll on a single button
Skyrim music in the background?
valheim is grindy but in a fun way it wouldnt be fun if you just speedran all the way through the game its just slow enough to be fun
I need part 3 😭
Are u going to make more for further biome😢
Have you added the skyrim music or is that in game 😂
I added some Skyrim OST because the background music was too quiet, haha!
Skyrim has some of my all time favourite scores of any video game.
I hope that you go through everything you make fun of people for.
That would be the least I deserve.
Nah I’m actually playing Skyrim as I’m watching this video😂😂
hot take the black forest is the worst biome not because its bad but every other biome way outshines it
I love the Black Forest for being this dense arboreal jungle with a beautiful colour palette ranging from cool to warm.
Skellies respond for me always soooooo
