It is completely incomprehensible to me how scientists and modern Egyptians exclude their African origins. It is so clear to me that the pples depicted in Ancient Egypt are Africans. Maybe light skinned (because more northern) but absolutely African. Comparable to Ethiopians and bedoeins. As a European-Asian (not coming from a white-centric space) the belief that Ancient Egyptians are the same people as modern day Arabs in Egypt is beyond me. Why is this even debated or questioned. Egypt is a country in the literal African continent. The aesthetics are not Ancient Mediterranean or Persian, their aesthetic is quintessentially African!

There was never a country named Egypt in ancient times the name of the land was Kemet before the Romans conquered it and changed the name to Egypt after a Roman General,200,000 years after creation. There are other documented records which showed Ancient Egyptians claimed to have originated from Land of Punt which is modern day Puntland Somalia. Egyptians were White as a race. A shade of white that is Mediterranean. (Prof open a couple of Ancient Greek books-scripts and you will the colour of Egyptians) Also Greeks created the universities in Egypt from Asklipia era (1st known Universities) and they send Pythagoras to go to Egypt to observe if the Egyptians were Still teaching the correct mathematics/sciences any knowledge etc.

Ancient Egyptians looked like Horn Africans because the caves and the excavations done in north of Somalia suggest so as well as the dna of Somalis and language that has alot of similar words with that of ancient Egypt. Also the traditional Somali dances like Wilisiqo, Dhaanto looks like that of Egyptians as illustrated on the walls of the pyramids.

With all due respect, Egypt is an African civilization, but it is not a black civilization. You must know that Africa is an entire continent with multiple indigenous races, that are not all black.
Ancient Egyptians, much like contemporary Egyptians varied in appearance, but the predominant “look” is not black, like the inhabitants of sub-Saharan Africa.
The ancient Egyptian civilization was not a “black” civilization for the following reasons:
1) The earliest relics found in the British museum from the pre-dynastic era of ancient Egypt, the Badari civilization, show people to have been light skinned, not dark. An example is a woman’s figurine made of ivory. If the woman was black, the figurine would have been made of a darker material.
2) Check out ancient Egyptian murals. They are very detailed in terms of people’s coloring and the distinction between the different races of people Egyptians dealt with - the murals showed white people with beards from what is now Palestine/Lebanon/Syria/Jordan, and black people from the kingdoms in Sudan and further south.
3) North Africans are olive skinned, so they’re skin is affected by the sun. It gets really tanned with exposure to the sun, and lightens when they are not exposed to the sun. They can’t be considered “black,” because black skin wouldn’t change in color dramatically based on sun exposure. Then the french came and invaded in (1798 A.D.) and lastly the British invaded egypt in (1882 A.D.). This is in fact why the land is not populated by the original black egyptians today. But rather foreigners such as arabs, italians, spainards, armenians, persians, turkish gypsies ect. Also the original black egyptians did in fact take back the kingdom several times in between foreign ethnic groups invading north africa. I wonder why they really wanted the sun reflection. What was the reason? What were they upto?
They worshipped the sun. They recognized that the sun was the giver of life. They seen it as a godlike "being". Which is why they would be represented with the sun-disk symbol we see today.

I am Egyptian and I am neither black nor white … you claim that paints of ancient Egyptian were black it is not correct … paints of queens kings and the people were lighter in colors than slaves who were black
However in upper of Egypt -from where king Menes came from- people’s skin is darker than the costal regions in Egypt
So stop faking the history and stealing the Egyptian identity
It is better for you to be proud of your own identity without being that intrusive
