This is a lot tougher to pull off if the mongol player has a TC on the gold even with the Ovoo exposed. Even though you can kill it and potentially deny an early harrass and tower rush the mongol fast castle denies the relics and from there it's raid on raid on raid. So I don;t think this works without an exposed gold
@@midas-holysmoke7642 gold and wood is pretty likely and like I said even without the oovo you can fast castle and then you'll have map control with knights out and then you can take over your ovoo/make monks/snag relics usual mongol play
I think GUA overracted here. There was no point to repair this Ovoo and drain the wood as he got no value from it at that time. Just go feudal, make 1-2 archers and then FC. HRE was so delayed by this strategy. Also the placement of TC would be better in the upper part of this forest near the gold and closer to berries. And that fight when he lost the whole army to one mangonel…
The HRE should not be confused with a German Empire, such was not formed until 1871. Also, after it had started with five Germanic tribes (Franks, Alamans, Bavarians, Thuringians, and Saxons), it was split until its end into two seperate "German" identities. Lower German (close to extinction today), and High German ('modern' German). This does not take into consideration all the other ethnicities that used to dwell within the imperial borders and which have simply died out without succession. Funny enough, the closest pendant to the HRE we have today is the EU: It's multicultural, it's badly organised, and it's dominated by Germans :D
That would have messed with wood and food production, caused extra costs etc. But yeah, it would have worked. Either way, kauP prevented early Mongol aggression successfully.
As Drongo said you can tail the TC around with units when it's packed up and then it can never be put down again as you can't put it down where the enemy is standing. Then it's GG.
you should try it aganst Dehli and denie there gold in dark age and prevent them from geting into fudal, its hilarious. Nobody expectes HRE dark age spearman rushes! 😂

Mongols spent so much wood on repairing the ovoo, he could have just taken his TC, placed it closer to the ovoo and that"s it! Spearmen problem solved
