Well done Phil.... I'm an old lady 74 years and i love ur channel. Ur a very hard worker. I'm from Omagh and come from a dairy farming background.... God Bless xx
Hello Pauline from South Tipp You're not allowed to suggest your are old at 74 yrs, wait until you are 94 yrs and then you will qualify as old. Farmer Phil is great to watch
Spin the middle sensing dial round to the plough icon, it will carry the plough better, put more power to the ground and you’ll fly along like uncle Ian did then!
Nice one Phil There's no doubt in my mind that dung is way better for soil quality than slurry any day of the week You'll need a pretty decent tractor for a six furrow mounted plough but it is the way to go. Nice to see Uncle Ians memory kept alive
Alot of the cereal/ whole crop we grow here in mid Canterbury, New Zealand either get grass sowned in mix or direct drill after crop off and can be grazed by young stock 8wks after crop off or heavy roll and then used for 3rd cut baled or chopped. Alot of the perennial grass seed get grazed over winter then locked up for the seed crop about now for harvest in January.
Check the bango bolt on the fuel line from tank at the fuel pump our 6490 was plugged there. I know different engines but I think it's a similar fuel pump system.
Just to let ya know I think that code could to do with the electronics in the injector pump and usually is a problem with them perkins. It could be a replace the pump or get it fixed/repaired job. Them perkins were known to have that problem. It could also be wiring on pump after it fell off.
we chamged our 6 furrow dowdswell to a kuhn 153 varimaster so actually went down a furrow, but ploughing at 18 inch instead of 14 and going quiet a bit faster we are actually covering more ground and ploughing alot quicker
Make it brown Phil that’s the rule You’re almost ready for Rathneska in 24 Might save up n catch up there Harvest started here in Western Australia been a bit dry Keep up the good work
I had the same issue with that fault on my 6475 the error came on when the tractor warmed up I changed filters but didn’t help in the end we pulled the computer out and sent it away to get the solder connections check/fixed haven’t had a problem since Hope you can get to the bottom of it Thanks for the videos
Your plough ploughing differently on each side could be down to the land wheel, had this problem on my plough and it turned out one side my stopper was damaged and wasn’t matching the other side. Be worth inspecting the land wheel assembly and measure the stops or inspect for damage/wear
Hi Phil. Great video. We had a similar problem with a 6495. It was the fuel line coming from tank to filter had a bit of debris stuck on it and it was getting blocked at bottom of tank also. Same error code came up later for the electric lift pump but that’s only on the sisu engine
Your plough width isn't matching your tyre width, if you had narrower tyres or change your width on plough & you won't believe the difference in working with it👍
Why didn’t you just disc it Phil ? Disc it and sow italian with the grass Harrow. Wouldn’t have bothered with the oats if it meant you had to plough Don’t see the need for all the diesel burning with ploughing
You could almost do with some weight up front as the plough seems to be controlling the direction. Would direct drilling in the midlands be a dirty phrase instead of ploughing?

Good to see the 6480 out doing a day's work again Father Phil on for chef machine fitter in-between filling dung definitely have to get him a camera😂
Check your Banjo bolts at the filters and the pipe coming out of the tank for cracks
I love plowing. Getting things ready for another crop.

Great to see you working on the 6480.
Cracking video as always

That was a super video farmer Phil
I have the same plough and the same issue. One side ploughs great but other doesn't and needs different depth. Maybe they are just designed that way
Great video farmer Phil
The 6480 is looking well, fair play
Nice looking rig ploughing, size wise nice
Make it brown Phil that’s the rule You’re almost ready for Rathneska in 24 Might save up n catch up there Harvest started here in Western Australia been a bit dry Keep up the good work

We have a dairy farm and we graze all year round and we only plant Italian ryegrass it’s great
6480 😍
Lovely outfit lad!! 👌Just id change the tips sooner as it will save the plough metal better.
Try blowing air through the feed line from the pipe out the tank to the filter incase rubbish is blocking the pipe
Even if your right just agree with the woman trust me . Great video as always
Phil , dont go down the six furrow route a 5 furrow is easier manage and will almost give you the same output in most irish field.
what a stupid comment
Jessica is the image of your father
I was talking to my doctor friend about your none smelly dung he can get you an appointment at ENT lol
God bless u lad
I've 2 sisters like her
Christ!!!!
Do you put compost worms in your dung heap. They love animal manures and straw.
Another great video Phil . How's the rushes after the mulcher? Did they grow back, did you spray them or what ?
E1077 is the fuel pressure controller.
I was the first to comment😁😁
😮
as i was always told a blindman would like to see it
Have you checked electrics for voltage drop tier2 very voltage sensitive on fuel system
Phil I M coming to get pumpkins 36:14
Sum cowboy at the plough...will u buy a bit of steel for it.😂😂😂😂
Evening!
Had error on t2 6480
Pump was falling off. After it was fixed the error code was up, issue with ours was the pump was a tooth off timing
I went to the plowing
Would you not put the 6499 on the plough
Need 3 meter combi drill coming straight behind the plough
What happened youre side pannel on the 6480?
Hi Phil. Great video. We had a similar problem with a 6495. It was the fuel line coming from tank to filter had a bit of debris stuck on it and it was getting blocked at bottom of tank also. Same error code came up later for the electric lift pump but that’s only on the sisu engine
do u know when your Uncle bought the 6480?
What happened to the semi mounted plough
Well
Your plough width isn't matching your tyre width, if you had narrower tyres or change your width on plough & you won't believe the difference in working with it👍

Disc it and sow italian with the grass Harrow. Wouldn’t have bothered with the oats if it meant you had to plough
Don’t see the need for all the diesel burning with ploughing
Would westerwolds not be better than the Italian?
3075 pull that plough no problem
Maybe the outlet of fuel tank is restricted
Run the 6f and the 4f prob have it done in 2 hours
Why is there a differant front rim on the 6480?
Had to change a tyre a few years ago and ended up with a different rim on
I'd say it's the width of the score, not the depth is the problem
❤
Videos every Thursday and sometimes we do the Sunday video 😂😂😂
I think your catching ur sister
Where’s the 3690
Why was there no vid on Tuesday
We were just busy with the pumpkins and had nothing prepared
👍

they might get away with once but ground would be too compacted I'd say and make a hardpan. Think he said it before ages ago
@@kieranosullivan02 I suppose ground makeup is a main factor on how the ground is prepared
Well Phil have ye straw for sale
Unfortunately not yields were very poor
Cheers for the reply 👍
Good stuff
What did ye do with the 5 furrow plow lad.
Waiting on time and money to fix
Earliest I’ve ever commented 😂
Will you be competing @ the ploughing next year rather than on a stand😅
Need weights on that plough tractor.
We’ll all be shouting for England 🏴 at the weekend 🏉 .😂 c’mon
no we won't
Lol that aged well! Anyone but England!
I don’t no much about ploughing but your plough isn’t set right you shouldn’t need to turn your wheels like that
Great video Phil
Y don’t you plough with the 6499?
