I always thought that Yasmin was Middle Eastern too, especially since Isaac Larian is Iranian, or that she was purposely created to be ethnically ambiguous.
@@princess_amaAll the Bratz dolls were supposed to be ethnically ambiguous, so they could be any ethnicity you want. Being afro-latina, I thought Yasmine was afro-latina bc she looked like me.

When I was a kid my mom didn't bought one for me because her opinion is not her style or suitable for us. Today, I see those toys and say "I wish I told my aunt to get me one of these."
Oh and I didn't like Barbie at all because her style is so pink and to me childish those days. But in 2023 we can see that Bratz made us a path to this days fashion.
Bratz was such a major part of my childhood. It was the reason for my first email (so I could make an account on the website), and my friend and I would play with them constantly as kids, it would get more dramatic than a soap opera at times lol Nostalgia has led be back to it and I even bought a doll my friend had as a kid back in 2020 due to the memories I had with it.
Dude same! As much as it would make my mom angry for the fashion, she was happy that I had fond memories with those toys!

The first Bratz doll I owned was a Yasmin Bratz Baby doll. Because I’m weird, my 4-year-old self deliberately threw it out the living room window of our second-floor apartment right before we moved away. Nearly 18 years later, I never did find her again. 😂

I'm literally so mad at my parents for just giving away all the dolls at some point. We had our small collection with my sister and we used to be VERY careful with them. I had Jade from the 'movie bratz' collection and I was so obsessed I was scared to play with her. We also had two bratz from some holiday collection and three from a gardening one (we wanted to have all of these). We loved playing bratz games, omg such a nostalghia. I miss those times and all of the dolls💔 Just realized I even remember how they smelled hahah.

The best day of my little girl life was getting my very first Bratz doll, Chloe. My mom got her for me at Wal mart and I played with her exclusively for mooonths until I got more dolls added to my collection. Core memory unlocked 😭👏🏻💕

I LOVED Bratz growing up! Especially Yasmine since we looked alike. All of my dolls were donated, but I wish I kept them bc I collect Bratz dolls now. I have one great memory of when my grandmother worked at a clothing store that had a toy section and she bought me the movie star Sasha doll. I loved her so much!

I wish my mom would have kept all my stuff. I see all these people talking qbout they went thru their stuff in the attic or basement or garage and my mom moved a few times she was broke and wasnt one of those parents that bought a house and kept all kinds of stuff. She has always thrown stuff away when done with it.

Omg Bratz Twinz was a core memory for me 😂 they were some of my first bratz dolls. I also based my whole personality around Roxy's aesthetic and Rock Angelz. I also had Baby Yasmine and I loved her so much ❤ This video is sooo nostalgic for me I love it. ❤

I bought my girls the re release of Chloe and Yasmin. They looked fine but I didn't buy the rock ones. The girls liked them but since they've had rainbow high dolls and lol they didn't really care that much. It was more for me than it was them anyways lol

As a Hong Konger, not that i agree with but the beauty standard there is not diverse as we don't have different race of people in hong kong. Tbf it's quite close minded that people think the lighter skin the better and we have a very limited toy selection for fashion dolls, so unfortunately I'm not surprise if Sasha couldn't make it in store. I was too young to remember bratz doll at that time and a disney princess girly at that time so i cannot confirm that.
