Love her talks! She's a natural, she has 'the gift of gab', as well as a talent for comedy with impeccable timing! Fortunately, her ability for holding people's attention is in the service of God. Her comedic riffs are the dessert that crowns her homilies, and those who choose to listen are richly rewarded by both, homily and comedy!
“Let us not forget that Jesus not only suffered, but also rose in glory; so, too, we go to the glory of the Resurrection by way of suffering and the Cross.”😇St. Maximilian Kolbe 🙏🏻4us
May god bless you sister as every time that I am near to priest or nuns I can feel that god wants me to be part of an order. My heart says love me and that's what am trying to do but this world is rejecting me.
Pray that God almighty will give you the discernment that you need to make a perfect decision about your vocation. Your happiness depends on your choices.
Why is it that all things American end up being so cheesy in style, as well as content?... « Married to Jesus... » Who then male monks are married to? Why all this grotesque discourse?
The Church as a whole is also His Bride, as one of its image of the Church. An example of another image of the Church in relation to Christ is the vine and branches. Understood now? We are all meant to love God first, we are all his beloved. God calls people to specific ways of service to pronounce that love to him. The religious and priesthood are sharing in being one with God, like spouses - called specifically and extraordinarily by Love (God Himself) to a higher call. The relationship is an espousal nature.
Religious vocation as a form of "marriage to God" is a description used in the tradition of the Church for centuries. It's not something "American". Go educate yourself. Stop buying into the ways of he world. Even the Jews would consider Israel as both God's Son and Bride at the same time, as made clear in the Old Testament.
She is a natural glowing preacher :)
Sister Bethany thank you. Really like your talks. God bless all.

Male monks are also technically brides of Christ.
It is also not American. Consecrated religious life, globally, is considered this way.
