all of you are absolutely correct, but I do know what this game is and seeing them play it is something I never thought to look for. it's aliens that tried to invade earth, and this iteration just assumes that you lost the previous one.
Do a mega mod playthrough, just go crazy. Every alien mod you can find, raider factions, bigger squads, more enemies, class mods, weapons, armors, cosmetics, voice packs, everything. Just make sure to use the Alternative Mod Launcher (AML), its infinitely better than the Firaxis launcher.

This stream started playing while I was asleep, and I woke up when Zach started talking about sleep paralysis so I feel inclined to tell my own story. Back when I was still in high school, (about 3 years ago) I had a super weird dream/nightmare that revolved around my school being a boarding school in the 1950s and as a result has a entire wing of the school locked away and sealed up. Well I get the bright idea that once the school closed for the night, I was gonna break in to this wing and explore it. So I asked a friend to explore it with me. She says yes. Night comes round, and I break down the door with a crowbar. Inside, it resembles basic training barracks. (Rows upon rows of bunks lined up, with a little hallway that lead into a MASSIVE bathroom and shower room, then another massive wing of bunks. ) All the bunks are still made, with a thick layer of dust covering it all. We make our way to the bathroom which is sealed by another locked door. We break it open, and all we see is just... chaos. Sinks and mirrors shattered, dried blood and bones litter the entire area. In one corner... we start to see a black silhouetted figure appear with bright red eyes and a creepy red smile right in front of our eyes. Once it lays its eyes on us, it starts approaching. We sprint like fucking mad to get outta there. We get outside snd re seal the door. We are then approached by another student who proceeds to question us and tells us the story behind this. (I'm not gonna get into it cause this comment is already insanely long, but if yall wanna hear it I'm more than happy to share) Once he finishes the story, the figure appears behind him and slits his throat. I tell my friend to run, but she can't, and neither can I. It approaches her, and does the same. Once it's about to kill me, I wake up. I THEN SEE THE SAME FIGURE APPEAR IN THE CORNER OF MY BEDROOM. I can't move, I can't scream. It rushes me, and suddenly I jolt up outta my bed, sprint to the bathroom turning om all the lights as I go, and proceed to lock myself in there and have a panic attack for the next hour and a half. I've never seen that demon again.... thank God...

So I would recommend you power through it because it's heading to really cool places. Besides the show itself takes a tonal shift when they find "the basement" i won't spoil anything but that really turns the show on it's end.
And that nationalism is always juxtaposed with the realities of war. Like in that episode in the first season where the lads are all excited for their first battle, to strike back at the hated foe, but all they do is get eaten.

To Zach with the Resident Evil 4, getting no ammo. Reason is you are playing too well, if you are kicking undead ass and not dying enough the flexible difficulty system goes “well, this is too easy for him, we need to make this harder” so it reduces the amount of ammo that will drop. For some reason on GameCube the ammo stays the same in regards to drop rate, I don’t know why.
Zach I highly recommend the book series The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Long series, fantasy in modern times, murder mystery... Second of a similar genre, The Iron Druid. He has a talking Irish Wolfhound. Fantastic times

There is a lot of things that happened with Aliens Colonial Marines, during Borderlands 1's development, they had already put 2 other studios to work on Aliens colonial marines, which massed to basically nothing. When Borderlands 1 got released, and it was popular, Gearbox outsourced the full development of Aliens Colonial Marines to TimeGate Studios which was already working on Section 8: Prejudice, pulling nearly all funding from it to Borderlands 2. Before Borderlands 2, the funding went on Duke Nukem Forever and Borderlands 1, so it is clear Gearbox had 0 intentions on working on Aliens Colonial Marines. Oh and Mike, did they fix the bug with the mods? Or do you still require the Alternative Launcher for mods to work?
man, one time i had sleep paralysis when my mom came to wake me up for school, so she shook me, saw me open my eyes and she walked out, but I was trapped in my own body as a hooded figure walked through the wall and started standing in front of my bed, and I remember yelling my lungs out, with no noise coming out and my mouth wouldnt move. Like in my brain, I know I was yelling, but I know no noise came out and my mom and brother said I opened my eyes but didnt move. It haunted me for a week, and im still afraid of the dark because in the back of my head, i subconsciously still feel like its behind me.
I had it once where I fell asleep with earphones in, I was suddenly awoken to the feeling of them being pulled out of my ears (tbh I think my phone had just fallen down the side of my bed) but then I realised i couldn't move and was in a state of shock/panic. I then see a evil looking face on my ceiling laughing and spinning around. Not fun🤣
Its not though It was implemented in the best way it could, and people are only hating it because 90% of the weapons were suddenly made irrelevant and can't use their Recluses and Mountaintops for the rest of the game
The game IS well-designed. btw, if you have a Sectopod in range, it is your ONLY target until it dies, unless you are using Mod enemies that are worse. You also don't want to kill it anywhere near your own guys, they fucking explode.

If you build the defense system room before the UFO attack you get a couple of OP turrets to help defend it as well. It's literally only useful for that type of mission though and they're pretty rare

There’s mods that add hundreds of modern day guns. Now you HAVE to play more. There’s also a mod that lets you reskin any weapon on the fly (including firing effects) so you can use plasma weapons and reskin them as an AK47. Also a mod that allows any customization on any armor tier.
Say what you want about Telltale, but Tales From The Borderlands is legit the only Borderlands game where I was actually stoked to see what happened next. The only disappointment I had was when they killed off “Wallet-Head” Vazquez.

Cannot agree more that The Long Dark is what Fallout 76 should have been, instead of what it is, but 76 is still a fun game if you have a tight group of friends to just mess around in the game with. But I don't that was how 76 was advertised to be.

I was thinking with the amounts of mods you have on Fallout, that you might have downloaded weapon and armor mods on XCOM2.
There is a lot of things that happened with Aliens Colonial Marines, during Borderlands 1's development, they had already put 2 other studios to work on Aliens colonial marines, which massed to basically nothing. When Borderlands 1 got released, and it was popular, Gearbox outsourced the full development of Aliens Colonial Marines to TimeGate Studios which was already working on Section 8: Prejudice, pulling nearly all funding from it to Borderlands 2.
Before Borderlands 2, the funding went on Duke Nukem Forever and Borderlands 1, so it is clear Gearbox had 0 intentions on working on Aliens Colonial Marines.
Oh and Mike, did they fix the bug with the mods? Or do you still require the Alternative Launcher for mods to work?

man, one time i had sleep paralysis when my mom came to wake me up for school, so she shook me, saw me open my eyes and she walked out, but I was trapped in my own body as a hooded figure walked through the wall and started standing in front of my bed, and I remember yelling my lungs out, with no noise coming out and my mouth wouldnt move. Like in my brain, I know I was yelling, but I know no noise came out and my mom and brother said I opened my eyes but didnt move. It haunted me for a week, and im still afraid of the dark because in the back of my head, i subconsciously still feel like its behind me.
I had it once where I fell asleep with earphones in, I was suddenly awoken to the feeling of them being pulled out of my ears (tbh I think my phone had just fallen down the side of my bed) but then I realised i couldn't move and was in a state of shock/panic. I then see a evil looking face on my ceiling laughing and spinning around. Not fun🤣

It was implemented in the best way it could, and people are only hating it because 90% of the weapons were suddenly made irrelevant and can't use their Recluses and Mountaintops for the rest of the game
The game IS well-designed. btw, if you have a Sectopod in range, it is your ONLY target until it dies, unless you are using Mod enemies that are worse. You also don't want to kill it anywhere near your own guys, they fucking explode.

If you build the defense system room before the UFO attack you get a couple of OP turrets to help defend it as well. It's literally only useful for that type of mission though and they're pretty rare

There’s mods that add hundreds of modern day guns. Now you HAVE to play more. There’s also a mod that lets you reskin any weapon on the fly (including firing effects) so you can use plasma weapons and reskin them as an AK47. Also a mod that allows any customization on any armor tier.

Say what you want about Telltale, but Tales From The Borderlands is legit the only Borderlands game where I was actually stoked to see what happened next. The only disappointment I had was when they killed off “Wallet-Head” Vazquez.
