Great job Miami... sounds great! I used to do the sound for Saturday morning cartoons and I would end up using those sound FX libraries I used for Transformers and Spider-man in my music productions. Great work as always, gave me some fresh ideas as well!
@@joeymusic Mostly on the CW... this was back in 2012-2013... I worked for a guy was getting too busy doing other stuff so when he got overwhelmed he'd hire me to do his mixes for him. I learned a lot but it does feel weird turning stuff in under someone else's name. Have you ever had to do that?
Hey great video, really wish there were more videos specifically on production. So quick question, would you typically mix the basics of the track first, i.e. Vocals, bass, guitar, drums, and then add production and adjust those levels? Also would you still need to EQ every other element you add? (Logic says yes, but I don't like to assume 😅)
i hate post production effects... it is so overused and formulaic... if your song slaps hard enough, you dont need all those fancy synths and rises and gunshots and flying anvils..
Completely right. This video is pure producer main character syndrome where’s he’s ruining the bands music with cheap gimmicks so he can feel more involved. The song sounded better before he changed anything
I wish this channel did more of this stuff, usually its lists rather than a visual walkthrough. Guys should do more of these.
Yeah but they just don’t perform well on UA-cam… it’s sad, I wish we did more stuff like this too

oughta appreciate it extra when they do make a vidyo like this ✌
@@yvettedickie399 oh boy do I!
I'm glad you turned the phone effects down on the final mix lol
I love adding post production. It really adds a whole new element and dynamic to the song
This is exactly what ive been waiting for. i love this stuff . Thanks Miami
More to come!
Would really enjoy an entire class dedicated to this art.
That new intro was CRAZY

Even though I'm not an engineer, I love learning about what goes into song production. Also what the song is being used🤔🤔🤔
Really loved this video. I definetly need idea for adding to my music
What song is this? Sounds great
Miami !! Love the new studio man ! 🔥🔥
You already know!
That is the exact same note and word that starts All Star by Smashmouth. At the beginning.
This is the sound design!
Really good video, and that drum punch, great production. Also what's the name of the song?
Love the vid, curious what song this is, the people need to know!
What song is this?
Sounds like dayshell singing??
the phone idea wasn't bad. But those final sounds of the closed call I would time them with the song
I was going to say the same thing, 4 dead tones before the chorus kicks in, maybe even mute everything but the vocals and the dead tones...
Great ideas. Thanks for showing how this sausage is made.
Audio sausage haha

Yes, absolutely. And yes
Share the song with us already! 🔥
Great content, 2 Track beats should be next video idea with post production. They so limited tho or I'm limited.
Nice. Thanks!
What's the band name? Sounds great!
SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME
For everyone wondering: I’m sure it’s Miami’s song. 💁🏼♂️
It’s actually not for once lol

@@joeymusic - ah, no! Damn. 😂
I add post-production to hide my terrible mixing!
Or use it to enhance great mixing
i don't appreciate the callout in the beginning 😏

Why are you watching this video then? Do you usually spend time watching videos about things you don't like?
@@Jazzguitar00 because i usually enjoy this channel and i am free to voice my opinion on a publicly shared platform.
