I experienced the loss of my dad at the same age as Harry. I was very affected, but I did not welcome pity and did not try to use his death to have people give me special allowance to lean on their pity.
I lost both parents young and tired of hearing they lost their mother.
Not to mention that William lost his mother 2 and he was extremely close. Harry acted like his an only child his only 2 years younger than his brother . Using his mother tragedy to gain sympathy and to try to sell to the public that his horrible wife is the same is disgusting. I can't only imagine what William is going trough.

I was coming home on a school bus trip when I read online that the Princess announced she had cancer. I just instantly started to cry and had to hide it because of where I was in that moment. I'm more concerned about Kate having the cancer come back down the road rather then that she has it and caught it early only because a lot of people die if it comes back again. It's usually more aggressive each time it comes back. Their children are still very young too.

The approach taken by Charles and Catherine HAD to be different. Charles is a man of 75yrs with two adult sons. Catherine and William have very young school going children who needed to be shielded. If Catherine had revealed her exact cancer then you have the public talking about how long she has etc which would trickle to the school ground and traumatize her young children. Not sure why people cannot see that angle. With William and Catherine it is all about protecting their young children.

Great point. Public always demands "tolerance" and "compassion" but when given a chance to show some, they always go the other way. That online hunting campaign with "#where is Kate?" was just so disgusting and lowest of the low.

They therefore started the campaign to force her into the open. They built such a momentum for Catherine that backfired spectacularly on them in that when she emerged in that video to announce her cancer they were left with egg on their faces but Catherine catapulted into a global icon over night
They clearly stated in the statement saying she was having major surgery she wouldn't be back before Easter, I still don't get why people had a meltdown about not seeing her yet when she wasn't due back for a month at least.

I find it really irritating how all these presenters always suggest that Charles slimed down the monarchy. He did not. It happened by natural attrition. Harry and Meghan CHOSE to leave. Remember they were given a whole year grace period to change their minds and they CHOSE to stay out. Andrew disgraced himself. The late Queen and Prince Philip died. Charles had no control over the natural attrition and now has to work with the numbers he has. It is not a crisis in my view. Harry and Meghan certainly miss the tiara moments but if they were to return it would be as disrupters wanting everything changed to suit them. Charles does not need the drama and therefore will not have them back. He may assign some engagements to someone like Beatrice from time to time but he has no choice but to work with the numbers he has. More focus should be given the Edward and Sophie who do so much. These presenters did not even think to mention them once.
Charles created and gave birth to serious drama within the monarchy. Irrespective of him being a racist, as the head of state, why is he not reaction to the ugly current situation. Or is he hoping that all non whites be murdered. He as king should've appeared before the Hague for all the deaths that happened during colonization. Karma
Harry has made it quite clear that he has no interest in returning to the U.K. as a working royal. Even a "tiara moment" is no fun if you have to spend all your time making sure that you are following one protocol after another. Harry and Meghan go where they want, do what they want, say what they want, wear what they want. The royals visit patronages and have tea parties. Life is one boring obligation after another. I don't think anyone has to worry that Harry and Meghan want to return to that.

Why cannot the press consistently get the timing right? Harry was 40 min late, and the king had to get onto his helicopter to get to his destination before the wind of opportunity to go at all necessitated the meeting being only 12 minutes. He invited Harry to go with him and Harry said no, he had to get back.

The hoo haa about Catherine's mother's day photo had more to do with the fact that sugars and haters were unwilling to accept that she could look so good whilst undergoing cancer treatment. Well Catherine stepped out in person for Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon and was absolutely STUNNING on both occassions. For some reason the sugars and haters wanted to see Catherine wheeled out in a wheelchair guant and with no hair. What satisfaction that would give is beyond me
Of course she looks great. She has a huge amount of nannies, maids, hairdressers, valets, housekeepers, etc, etc, etc. Royal family has an easy life.
@@stephaniepersin4222 Actually lets stick to facts. When WIlliam and Catherine had George they went to stay with the Middelton family. There were no nannies and they Middleton family gave them support for 2 months. At the end of that they employed a Spanish nannies who lived in with them at Kensington Palace but lived out when they moved to their Windsor accomodation that has NO staff quarter. With the children getting older the Spanish nanny is now part time. Catherine comes from a loving and stable background. She of all the royals knows what a normal happy family looks like. That is why she confines herself to a part time nanny and minimizes the other support she gets eg for cleaning. That is why William and Catherine were able to keep their medical details private ie by having as few third parties as possible. Why do you think that William took time off? They have the ability to call upon hundreds of nannies, maids etc as you allude to but have chosen otherwise to protect their privacy and so far it has worked

Diana’s family, although aristocrats, had never been so intwined w the monarchy until her marriage to Charles. Her family loved the alliance. Fergie’s dad worked for the royals as a polo manager & her marriage raised his esteem & lovely Katie’s ancestors had been coal miners & more recently airline staff. Naturally, her family couldn’t get over their incredible good fortune. These women knew what they were stepping into when they said yes. Charles is a cheat, Andy is stupid & Wills is as spoiled as one could get & has a volatile temper. Meghan is the only one who went after the brass ring & she now runs the whole circus in their perfect match. Harry needed a mummy & she is there for him. Perfect. Be careful what you wish for. Will & Kate’s story has yet to be written. For their children’s sake, let’s hope he keeps his trousers zippered because Kate will do very well without him.

The hospital was mentioned, said it was stomach surgery, said it will take her 14 days to go home to Windsor, said public will be notified when there's development and later on Catherine said it herself she was undergoing cancer treatment. They are not any different from any other family who have had to deal with cancer. I really think she needs the privacy and no upheavals to have her heal in a timely manner. No one is going to be unreasonable if someone is really in such an illness dilemma. But remember she is loved and cared for, as well she’s live an 85% public life nothing is secret, so when such a blanket have been placed without explanation especially from her and her husband being side by side is very suspicious and no one can truly and genuinely say that the public is wrong or disrespectful of her need for privacy. You cannot live so in the light then want to shrink into darkness with no concerns or alerts! It’s like when they are accusing Harry of not caring for his grandmother while all the time they are lying to him causing him not to mend fences with his grand ma before she closes her eyes; but they are family oriented and caring right? Then they attribute their cold dismissive behavior regarding what they did to cause him to not be able to speak with his grandma; yet another significant loss. His mom his grand mom. Then how much better are they than Harry speaking about the running of the firm and his dislikes be so unreal or unthinking in spite of his hurt and loss and abyss that no one helps him to over come. Then he’s wrong. I’m comparing and contrasting. Look at the disparities. When Harry went to his fathers side Camilla the whore, had unpleasant words that cause him to leave London abruptly then it’s still his fault why relations aren’t mended or patched up at the very least. Megs was never going through anything she was enjoying her rich royal famous life spending millions of dollars, private jets, traveling everywhere, beautiful clothes, jewelry. Not at all. William currently is the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cornwall and has inherited the Duchy of Cornwall which is where he now gets all his income. Charles is the King and Duke of Lancaster and inherited the Duchy of Lancaster. Were William to become King he would inherit the Duchy of Lancaster and his son George would become the Prince of Wales and inherit the Duchy of Cornwall. It is this winner takes all inheritance by virtue of being born first that Harry and Meghan wanted changed. They wanted the Duchy of Cornwall to be shared equally between William and Harry. As they stated in their netflix docuseries they had a problem with heirachy and rank within the institution of monarchy yet in any organization or institution there is rank and heirachy. Not everyone can be CEO and the CEO will get the best perks. That is life
There are entailments in Britain that by law restrict who can inherit. It’s not something that HRH the King or anyone else can just change. Inheritance laws are very different in the UK and however much The Duke of Depression and the Duchess of Obnoxious want free money, it’s not that easy.
