Sam and Kelly, I really enjoyed your videos. I actually walked the Camino twice and lived in Spain for 7 years. Kelly, regarding your comment about how bad the food was in Spain, at least alo g the Camino - that couldn't be further from the truth. It really is much more than croissants and cafe con leche. Ultreia
I've watched a number of Camino videos, but yours struck home. Maybe because it was your honeymoon, and your love for each other shows, maybe it was your spirits, but the culmination made me cry. Thank you!
A fabulous Camino experience and a tremendous experience for your honeymoon. Thank you for emphasizing that everyone’s Camino is their own experience and absolutely right for them as yours was for you. Now onwards to your next adventures. Thanks for taking us all with you.
In 2019 myself and my brother in law walked the full Camino for our 70th birthdays and you brought it all back including the pain of day one and the joy of the rest . G ood luck in the future
Congrats on reaching that famous cathedral in SdC. The spot where you sat and admired the cathedral is very close to where I sat for a while 3 years ago. Your last few towns are the same as mine were. Thanks for the memories and I hope you keep your positive attitudes as you spend your lives together.
Omgg! This was so significant to me, I can't wait to make my way and see you guys supporting each other melted my heart! Thank you for sharing in such a genuine way
You guys are awesome. Made me cry too. I really want to do the Camino for the spiritual experience. It seems to have such a deeper spiritual, Christ centered meaning, like a right of passage, "well done thou good and faithful servant" kind of thing.
Hi guys! Jane from Canada again, from your first night in the monastery. So glad to see that you made it. I had to stop in Ciruena, which was about 3 days before Burgoes, because of major foot problems. So my Camino ended at 850km, including the portion I walked in France. My friend Monique continued to the end. I am seriously considering going back to finish the remaining 570km this spring - will see how I feel in a few months. Congratulations on doing your Camino - as you (and everyone) say, it is a very individual thing and there is no right or wrong way - it truly is your way. I also think your videos have truly captured what it is to walk the Camino. Enjoy the next stage on your travels!
I really enjoyed watching y’all’s journey across Spain. You both are so amazing and I wish you the best life together full of many more adventures! Cheers 🥂
Congratulations on your amazing adventure (thanks for sharing) and for doing the Camino your way. No one should judge how you do your Camino. I just did it in reverse (lol) with my son and 88-year old Dad. We started in Santiago and worked our way around Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria. I do plan on doing the Camino Frances with a buddy soon. We will dedicate 4 weeks to our adventure and we may have to hop on a train here and there, but as they say, it’s your Camino and no one should tell you how to do it. Take good care!
This was so fun to watch! I did the Camino back in 2014 and I skipped the middle as well! My friends and I didn’t have enough time to do the entire walk, plus my feet were gnarly I had to to take many rest days. But I can’t wait to do it again! Buen Camino ✌️
Thank you for sharing this story. What an amazing way to spend your honeymoon. It’s a story you will tell you children and grandchildren one day with such pride that you finished this amazing pilgrimage. I hope to do this one day soon . I am likely doing this solo but still think it would be amazing. Happy life and looking forward to your next adventure. Cheers!
Just beautiful. I leave for St Jean Pied du Port on Saturday morning from the UK. Feeling like I needed to watch your journey and how you gave yourselves permission to take the train. Leaving that option open for myself, too. May your marriage continue to thrive and support you both. x
Congratulations on finishing. You both did great and with such positivity. It would be nice to see a line map showing how far you traveled. Bye friends from 🇨🇦
im doing mine in September and this was so super helpful thank you so much for showing so much more than other channels... relieved to at least not worry about coffee might not survive without it.
Congrats on your accomplishment! I have yet to watch your Baja videos but my husband and I drove from Chicago to Cabo and we are planning our Camino de Santiago hike! What a small world 🥰🥰🥰
Congratulations on making it to Santiago! It is a feeling like no other. Hope you got to visit the city for a day or two...it is wonderful! many blessings, and buen camino!
Congratulations. Great honeymoon. Will always remember it. Spend mine 48 years ago doing research for my wife’s Thesis in an Estuary.😂 I think it means the marriage will last. Take care. All the best in your next travels.
Currently on the Camino and I caught a sinus infection and a little homesickness! Loveeeee love loved your whole video series and it gives me so much encouragement to power thru! We are also skipping the middle tomorrow
We did the Portuguese central route in September. Some hard days of course but the marvellous memories remain for ever. With luck will be back next September to walk the coastal route. You are so right no negativity on the Camino.
Congratulations on a beautiful and memorable way to conmemorate your honeymoon. I was hust a few days ahead of you arriving in Santiago. Looking forward to your next adventure.
My wife and I did the Camino 6 years ago ,I've never watched a you tube video of someone else's story it was great .buon camino ,ps we are doing the milford track this year for my 60th birthday .
We did the costal Camino in September. We started in Porto Portugal. The last day we did 14 kilometers, we we started seeming the signs under 10 it was very energizing. It is an experience that I will always enjoy that we did. Thanks for sharing yours.
Loved your Camino videos. It brought back such great memories for me from my 2014 Camino. You have excited me to head back next year. Im interested in what brand of poncho you used. They looked great . Thanks H
WOW guys... That was amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. I feel more enthusiastic now to do it. I have a question, did you star at St. Jean-Pied-de-Port in France or where in France did you start? Thanks gain..! Jorge here, from Los Angeles, CA
Hi. They started at St Jean in France, walked for 8 (?) days, skipped the middle by going on trains. Then got off at Saria to walk the last 100+ km. It took them ~2 weeks. To walk the whole Frances route is 30+ days (usually). The Portuguese route (from Porto) is also ~2 weeks.
Well done Sam & Kelly loved all your videos, Santiago is incredible had the pleasure of visiting it twice, by plane by the way from Liverpool but just loved the real Spain as opposed to the touristy Mediterranean area. Hope you have a lovely happy marriage, take care lots of love ❤️ Jim xx
Fun watching your journey. My wife and I are doing the El Camino Portuguese in May. Rainbows are miracles! We’re neighbors. We live in Agoura Hills. Literally below Lady Face Mtn.
Sam and Kelly, solo 2 minutos para Santiago de Compostela, la joya del Camino. Creo que esto no es justo. Acaso, no sabéis lo que representa Compostela en el Camino.
Hi Sam and Kelly.. I'll be walking the Camino Frances early April. Getting cold feet now! haha. Where did you get your ponchos from? I first watched your video about the first bit of your camino journey. Initially I had set my mind on doing the Varcarlos route as they deem is the 'easier' route, though looking at the elevation profile, it doesn't seem all that easy either! haha. But when I saw your video, it really made me all unsettled again..lol. The free roaming horses and animals are the main reasons I want to do the Napolean route! That and only that!! Anyway, thanks for inspiring me again and hopefully my camino will be as lovely as yours! Please do share details about your ponchos. They look great!
I must say you are the only who do not complain about blisters.....astonishing!!!Made your video even more beautiful!!! Just wonder if you ever got them and decided to talk about something else:)
I remember you guys from the Camino! I came over to warn you to protect your electronics from the rain because my phone died 😅 I see you’re professionals :) Glad to come across your content here! ❤
Congratulations to you both..what a journey…my husband wants to do the Camino but unfortunately he’s not able to.we have a special needs son that we take care of . I can’t do all the work myself I need his muscles lol so to go would be hard for me being I have no family to help me while he’s gone. Thank you for sharing your beautiful adventure… ❤️
You two are so fun to watch!! I'll be doing the same walk as you guys in a few months, so excited! I just have 1 random question for Kelly. I saw that you put a tan sock on and then a regular sock, what was the tan sock? I suffer with feet issues and I think that might help me for the treck. (If anyone else knows as well, that would be great)
Congratulations on your completion! My wife and I are doing the Camino from the same starting point and enjoyed watching your journey. I would like to ask you, what Sony Camera and equipment you used to document your journey? I would prefer not to use our cell phones if possible. Also, can you recommend how you found all your great Hostels? Thank you both in advance for your assistance to my questions..
Thank you so much for watching! We are not vegetarian, but did notice that it would be more difficult to find vegetarian food in the smaller towns/village’s that you pass. But not impossible!
wait, what dates did you walk? because I think I saw that same double rainbow! I checked my pics and it was 10/23/22 😅 edit: ok confirmed because I am literally behind you at 7:47
Our LAST Camino video!! 🥹💛 what did you think? Stay tuned for next week as we backpack an amazing country in Europe! The adventure isn’t over….🌈
Sam and Kelly, I really enjoyed your videos. I actually walked the Camino twice and lived in Spain for 7 years. I cried at the end, and I’m a 60 year old bloke who never shows his emotions. Loved every minute of your trip.
I never cried that much in my life as on the camino 😂
I've watched a number of Camino videos, but yours struck home. Maybe because it was your honeymoon, and your love for each other shows, maybe it was your spirits, but the culmination made me cry. Thank you!
CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎉

Good job!!!!
great camino vlog. leaving for Sarria in 3 weeks.
What month did you start the Camino?
What time of year did you walk?
16 days is really fast right? Isn’t it normally 34 days to finish?
Loved this video. Both of you are adorable. Are you vegetarians and if so, was it difficult to maintain while on the camino?
Thank you so much for watching! We are not vegetarian, but did notice that it would be more difficult to find vegetarian food in the smaller towns/village’s that you pass. But not impossible!
What is the albergue called in arzua?
