Aye I noticed that as well , on one scene, it’s hanging & flopping around , looks to be more than the rear exhaust hanger which was adrift, next scene,all was well with the exhaust, 😳

I'm a Volvo fan but I'm not surprised that the 940 did so poorly. Firstly, it was an old car and it wasn't too safe for its time (it had a rather... unusual structure), secondly, this particular 940 was not equipped with airbags. Additionally, in this crash, the 940's steering wheel moved and prevented it from deforming to absorb energy as Volvo intended (although we would need injury-specific measures such as HIC to know better). An 850/v70 MK1 is cheaper and safer than a 940.

Proper winter tyres helped as much as four wheel drive on the XC70. It would not have made it on summer tyres…
