    I have been to Yellowstone many many times and still have not seen a grizzly bear. Last year (2021) we did see some black bears. You make perfect marshmallows!!

      Haha I’m with you and we contemplated getting one but decided not since it would require a sturdier tripod, 4x adapter, and new lens. 💰 We probably would if Yellowstone was our home/main place we’d film/photograph.

    In Yellowstone I stayed in that exact campsite in a tent 2017. One night I heard the garbage cans tip over back at the amphitheater, I was in my truck in a flash for the rest of the night. Thanks for sharing and great video of the grizzlys.

      Lol we had a friend stay with us in a rooftop tent who swore they heard a bear walking around our campsite. Haha when they told us in the morning we were shocked cause we didn’t hear anything in the van. In Yellowstone anything’s a possibility.

      Thanks you! We saw them right near Moran Junction. Just outside of the Teton National Park. We’ve been told the momma bear 399 has frequented this area and Oxbow bend.

    Fantastic video. We just got back from Yellowstone/Tetons last month and your video makes us want to return. We are just starting to document our trips on youtube and your video was inspiring! I think we saw the same mama and 4 cubs while we were there (Oxbow bend?) - it was amazing and your video brought back so many great memories. All the best and safe travels

      Yes! It she was a little further down when we spotted her but it’s in the Oxbow Bend area. So glad y’all liked it. Have fun out there!

    Great video!!! My partner and I were there in early October of 2018, and got snowed out to park-closure level on our last day. I gotta try early September next time.

      Wow! Yeah, Yellowstone has some seriously unpredictable weather. We never expected the light dusting we got but it turned out to be a plus.

    What camp site did you stay in night one?

    • @OutOfThisVan
      @OutOfThisVan  3 роки тому

      Are you referring to outside the park or inside? We stayed at the Mammoth Campground when we were inside the park and it's the one with all the Elk. Outside we stayed up a forest road in the Targhee National Forest.

    It's okay for adults to try out for the Darwin Award. I just wish they'd not put their children up for it.

      It’s not if you’re faster than a bear it’s if you’re faster than the person next to you.
