I love Cunard, and the QV has 'my' cabin on it, actually not a balcony cabin, though the same size as this, with ocean view (balcony size windows), but all in a single cabin. I love this stateroom so much, it's been mine already last October, and, will be my home on 2 back to back cruises, from the 1st - 19th September 2023, and have already booked for 2024 and 2025. Very much actually like the spaciousness, for 1, the kettle, and free Room Service and 2nd stateroom visit
Cunard is really the only cruiseline for us, so we agree! I hope that you enjoy your upcoming voyages! Is the cabin to which you are referring an accessible cabin? Those tend to be more spacious than the standard ones to allow for mobility devices and equipment.
So much great info included in this tour that goes beyond just the roonm, especially for first time cruisers on Cunard. Thank you for that attention to detail!
Thank you for the compliment! The balcony cabins on Cunard's queens are all very comfortable - the bed especially! Some people find the bathroom too small and the cloth shower curtain annoying, but I think it's fine for the price point!
I have often wondered that myself! We personally read through everything to make sure we're not missing out on anything. I do know one person who had no idea that there was ballroom dancing almost every evening in the Queens room because they definitely did not read the daily program thoroughly. Returned from their voyage and complained to me about how there was no dancing, and then I looked in one of the daily programs they had saved and pointed it out to them. 🤣
Cunard has a few accessible cabins with railing in the shower, but they tend to book early on and then end up being released as the voyage gets closer and bookings get canceled, usually for health reasons when it comes to those cabins...
Thank you for commenting! Could you expound on the points that are disappointing? Bigger cabin on NCL? Bigger bathroom? This cabin cost us $1100 per person for ten days, as a reference point.
Whatever idiots have so many bags? As a single, retired and disabled lady, have 1 suitcase, that fits on my walker/stroller, and a carry on bag (for my magnetic hooks, clipboard, swimwear, change of clothes, and even nightwear (nightie, slippers and dressing gown, that all, of course, go on hooks), washing line (for my balcony), and chargers.
Did you really just call them idiots for the number of bags they bring? As a couple, nonretired, and non-disabled people taking a 26 day cruise - they evidently have a lot more stuff to bring than you. What was the point of that? Did it make you feel better about yourself? Rather judgmental statement over something that is not any of your business. Get stuffed.
What kind of a old poop calls people "idiots" because they don't pack like you do? At the risk of sounding rude, maybe their luggage choices are less limited by their handicap? Maybe they like choices. Maybe they just don't give a flying fuzzy fuck about what you pack? How fucking droll of you.
@paulhostettler8581 - of course it's not rudeness - and, no, I'm never in a 'disabled' cabin, which, so far as I'm told, not for solo travellers. I'm in 2010, on the QV, and, I've been at least 3 times, with 3 more to come, on Baja Deck 11, with Princess ships. Princess are balcony cabins - the QV isn't, but my walker, fits through the doorway, and the Ocean View windows are balcony windows (just don't open!) Very hard to find, initially, as there are literally 9 cabins hidden away behind the Casino, 2012 an Inside Stateroom. Very much anticipating my Back to Back Cruises at the beginning of September.
@lesleyfordham6554 Might I ask why it bothers you enough to write rude comments about what OTHER people choose to bring on a cruise with them? I think your real issue is somewhere deep inside of you. Perhaps you should work that out on your own instead of attempting to belittle and hurt other people to make yourself feel good.

Travels, Yo.fantastic . see ya!-
Thanks for the props and for watching! 🙂
Love your cat btw.
He is a cutie, and he knows it! 😅
No tub, feh. I abhor showers
Tubs are available in Princess Grills and up - at least twice the price will get one a tub. 🤣
Squeezing in to that shower might be a problem for an old bear. I would be afraid to break it.
😅The vinyl curtain makes it extra fun because it tends to stick to one's body! 😅
I really enjoyed your stateroom tour. Looks very comfy to me. How you find it? I’ll cruise on her in next July to Norwegian Fjords.

They give you so much to read - I wonder how many people actually go through it all...

I note that there is NO grab rail in the shower, so thats it for me will not be cruising with Cunard.

A bit disappointing. My last cruise was NCL CRUISE.

Is your disability rudeness?
