  • Learn to drive like a rally driver in this tutorial on how to drift on gravel. In part 3 of the Thrill of Driving Tutorials with the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport we demonstrate the art of driving sideways on gravel, dirt and other low traction surfaces. Using techniques demonstrated in part 1 and 2 of this very same series, we now go into the advanced skills needed to slide a car on gravel. Editor Sirish Chandran uses his years of rallying expertise to take you through this detailed tutorial, starting from the basics of what corner speeds to carry, what gear to be in, turn-in technique, how to dial in opposite lock and where to look. This tutorial is performed with a front-wheel-drive SUV and we demonstrate how to use the throttle to pull the car out of the slide and how to carry speeds through the corners just like rally drivers. Practical tips include how to practise, when to take a break and analyse the techniques, how to keep fatigue at bay, how to prevent damage to the car and much more. Pull out your notebooks and take notes.
Get ready to kick up some dirt! This one is all about going sideways on a dirt track. In this episode, our editor, Sirish Chandran, will teach you how to drift on a dirt track. Dirt offers low grip which makes it easier to drift at low speeds and helps you learn the technique. Watch the video and make sure you practice everything on a closed-off road like a go-kart track. Special thanks to Mahindra for letting us borrow the XUV300 TurboSport to help us give you these advanced driving tutorials.
This is the third of the 3-part Season 2 of Thrill of Driving Tutorials featuring the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport. Below are the links to the first two parts.
Part 1: How to launch a manual car, heel and toe downshifts and how to use the hand brake: • How to launch a manual...
Part 2: How to slide / drift a FWD car on tarmac: • How To Drift Or Slide ...

Will be more useful if u guys make this video little bit slower while demonstrating how to do it..
Especially on.. turing the steering wheel, diping clutch, using handbrake, then return the steering wheel..these shorts need a little bit of slow motion..and need step by step demonstration while showing..
Its a simple nd humble opinion from my side..
Anyway its a great video..nd very useful for us to get into an advanced level with free of cost nd..got a great master as well❤❤❤
    Keep going on..team evo❤❤
