Question: Will Sebas return the favor he ow to Brain by resurecting him and make him serve under him? If not then how will Sebas repay that favor? He did say he would repay it to Brain and Climb after they helped rescuing Tuare.

I only know this cuz I re-watched the anime all the way through just last week but he did say 10,000 years because it is like the lifespan of a turtle proverb thing, but he did mention 1000 years right before about some crane proverb. Still very impressive you remembered that detail from how many weeks ago now.

Yup, this comment right here perfectly grasps the situation to a freaking T. Ainz don't got no master plan, he's just winging it, and being really good at acting cause everyone cannot imagine him being anything less than a genius they can't fathom.

@@muigokublack6487 Seeing him react to his subordinates or others who think he's so far ahead is always the funniest thing for me to see. He's the master of bullsh*tting his way through a situation he doesn't understand, because everyone else thinks he's a giga-brain planner. And I just can't get enough, I need more of the show to come out, it's so good. Though I've heard Eminence in Shadow is similarly good, so I've been waiting for that to finish airing so I can binge it.
@@darkrite9000 Or when he DOES have a plan it ends up going off the rails rather quickly because of how enthusiastic the floor guardians are and he kinda just has to roll with it while subtly trying to either get things back on track or at least to some version of the original plan xD
But yeah I love this series, everyone thinks he's a giga-brain planner and he's like "I can't play cool forever, oh well that's a problem for Future Ains to deal with!"

The most ironically hilarious bit about Ainz and Renner is that they both fear each other. Renner can't figure out Ainz because he has no plan but she thinks his master plan is just that unpredictable, and Nazarick has another monstrous genius who's intelligence far surpasses his own. One thinks the other is this undead master planner while the other thinks she'll see right through his act of having nothing planned.
I keep thinking that the guy Suzuki that is ainz isn't that smart on his own but because he became momonga in the new world his intelligence stats made him more intelligent than he actually is and he does stuff without actually thinking what he's doing, if that makes sense

@@jamespingal2809 it is possible, I imagine it's simply cause Suzuki can't comprehend the current intellect of Momonga so it's all done subconsciously. After all Momonga as the character catually has broken the limit of how many spells one character can learn, that and the fact that he's character is supposed to be roleplayed as this all knowing overlord of the supreme ones might have also come true same with the NPCs
And both are correct.
Ainz is utterly unpredictable not only because his current persona defies any human concept and roots he may have had as an actual player, but because his background is all but impossible to guess taking into consideration the current level of technological development possessed by anyone within the New World; Renner is unpredictable because she's both a genius and a VERY mentally ill individual with no attachments besides a young boy she arbitrarily decided to manipulate down to minute details.
Though I don't think that Renner will take much long to realize that she has the upper hand when it comes to intellect - possibly over Demiurge even. Will she act on it? Absolutely not. For a master 4D manipulator, Renner is beyond mediocre in goals. She doesn't care about understanding "the meaning of life", she isn't interested in World Domination, and she doesn't give a damn about people thinking that she's submissive (she definitely isn't).
If Ainz didn't show up, she'd be more than happy to pretend to be the innocent, charismatic and generous princess of her Kingdom. She'd go on to live her life, always crafting schemes and causing immense harm while leaving no trace of herself, then die of old age-related problems... And no one would ever know what she did. That's the kind of life she though she'd have as a human.
Now, only time will tell us if the new situation will change her perspective on life.

I am still convinced Ainz´s intelligence stat in-game affected him unknowingly in the new world and basically guides his steps through instinct
I think its the background lore of character. Not just stats.
You see, demiurge and albedo stats is lower than mare. But they are still smartest npc. Why? Because of their background story.
I think even overlord has default background story that we are not aware of.
But i see something in momonga character sheet that maybe influence his character. It says "the strongest magic caster with appearance of skeleton".
With this alone we can see why momonga has amazing luck.
"Maybe momonga has custom lore and create the most edgy and comedic lore and he is forgot about it".
To become "strongest magic caster", one need to be smart and to remember 718 spell one need to be so smart. . I mean he is not really the strongest when it comes to firepower because ulbert has ghe strongest fire power in yggdrasil because his special job class. But we can make a reasoning what can make momonga the strongest in his lore and that is his intelegent that surpase any other player lore in yggdrasill.

I have to admire how Renner convinced Climb to become a demon saying I'll be lonely for all eternity & I pledged allegiance to Ainz for your resurrection. Climb completely missing the fact when he showed up the Ice women outside the throne room said "Last Human in the castle" meaning Renner was already a Demon before Climb fought Ainz. 🤷🏿♂️
but i stil wonder if he would use the fallen seeds, or if he would trade them for the Dragonid Race change item

Well he will always have that information. So it could be something he realizes later. Renner is very similar to Ainz in a way. She doesn't want climb to know too much because she thinks he will not like her anymore, but he will probably like her no matter how evil she was. Ainz is like this towards the guardians and npcs of nazarick. He acts out his role as an overlord perfectly so they don't betray him, but they probably would never betray him no matter how normal he was. Except the penguin. xD
@@meowkitty4849 He's going to realize that after Overlord has ended. Maybe by the time Touchme rescues him and they team up to take down Ainz and save the world (Here's hoping Overlord is the greatest prologue in history).

The funny thing about Ainz popping up in the throne room, and everyone thinking it was his plan all along, was probably just Ainz acting on a whim without really thinking about what happens next XD XD XD
I think at this point he just likes roleplaying the evil overlord too much. Most of his worries from the beginning have slowly faded away. Some through experience with the npcs loyalties and some through effort on his part. There is one thing he definately is not and that is lazy. Good thing he does not need to sleep ^^
That, or he just wanted to relive his old days of playing the evil overlord in the game. I mean several of his teammates used to love heavy roleplay so I could have easily just seen him go "Oh, whatshisname would have loved this! Maybe I should do it again...for old times sake! Yeah! That would be nice!"
@@bibbobella I've seen other comments say he was having a blast fighting Climb.
He even started respecting the little guy due to his unorthodox, yet functional tactics. (at least they'd be functional against anyone other than Ainz)
Or the "Dark Intelligence/Wisdom" perk that Ains has is subtly manipulating his actions without him realising; you can only slip on banana peels only to land with a perfect backflip so many times before it stops being a coincidence...
Or as he said there is a certain degree in which he want to act like an overlord like in the games
I loved Mare's scene. Him chanting to hype himself up, with the Hanzo's cheering him on was just too cute.

i also love how eerie the background is. Mare and Hanzo are cheerful but there no music whatsoever and only sound of wind the whole time until the title card
It's said in the book that Ainz picked a random Hanzo to have the red thingy in the arm to signify he'd be the one giving orders to the other hanzos, but that the one he chose was really hyped up about it, I was expecting to see that animated as well but understandably they all had the same "professional af" composure
they do have personalities but it's not easy to showcase them even if they do have some screentime
One thing that I really liked about the Climb Vs Ainz fight, is that Climb's last attack (which Ainz compliments) was the same jumping attack he used in his sparring match with Gazef, where Gazef told him he needed to have a follow up move to improve that attack. It shows he actually did learn from Gazef.
Climb already used this follow up against ilusion swordsman whatshisname bad guy bandit.

Ainz's plans are so deep and complex that even he doesn't know what they are. Obviously this is in case of the unlikely event that Ainz gets mind controlled by an enemy, he wouldn't be able to expose the plans of nazerick . Sasuga Ainz-sama... At least that's what Demiurge would probably come up with.
Its like Bruce Wayne gaslighting himself into literally saying he "Batman" if someone should successfully mind-control him into revealing his true identity. Because he in-fact identifies as Batman.

They did that on purpose because they never showed us how strong aura was yet. She is a level 100 elven ranger sniper though. So the firepower she has may be relatively high for a guardian even if her stats are lower than other guardians. The missing stats are a clear sign that we have no idea what was sacrificed for them to be that low. Aside from the fact she has absolutely no magic attack. xD
So when you aim that firepower at a low level person. They blow up. xD

Renner was truly a cold-blooded Genius (possibly on par with Demiurge) she sold out her family, & Kingdom to get what she wanted. Immortality & Climb for all eternity.
Nah demiurge is simply way more worse, his probably more evil considering his happy farm and all, but I would say Renner is on par with him on the creepy part
I mean not trying to justify renner but knowing her past she was isolated all her life and none of her family members wasn't cool with her. If you say Zanac your wrong he and raven would only talk to her to use her knowledge. Her father knew nothing absolutely nothing about his daughter and the other nobles talked bad about her. Also she knew her fate with the kingdom it was impossible for her to get the throne not because her being the third child but do to her being female. She knew she would be force to marry someone she didn't love and have kids with that person and live a sad and depressed life. Climb is literally the onlything and only person that is positive in her life and treated her nicely.

Demi humans almost got humans extinct before the six great heroes appeared, that's why there are only 3 human nations in overlord, and both of them were crafted by the church of the six heroes, so you can say that there is only one real human nation, and it's populace wasn't so big, probably on the 10-12 million mark

Ainz showing up was something Renner hadn't planned for. I think THAT in itself is an important thing to note. Renner, with all her intelligence, upon entering the den of these monsters, was instantly underhanded by the great Ainz sama.
Regardless of what the act was, the fact that it "outsmarted" her when she's the one who provided the plan, I think is very important. Really gets her thinking about how unpredictable Ainz is, and not because she thinks he's an idiot, but because she overthinks him being a genius god.
While Ainz thought she would just see right through him, that he actually have zero plan.
Same thing the Emperor felt, he just thought Ainz was so smart he might as well be omnipotent or at least omniscient, so there'd be no way for him to ever outsmart him. If only they knew that Ainz was just doing things on a whim, they'd lose their collective sh*t. Just like when Albedo and Demiurge, along with the other floor guardians couldn't fathom how much of an idiot Phillip really was.

There's two reasons why I think Ainz is worrying for nothing over Renner, the first being Nazaricks undeniable loyalty towards him and Albedo's obsessional love towards him. If Albedo or even one monster within Nazarick ever saw a sliver of doubt from Renner towards Ainz, she would be killed on the spot. Even if she could see through Ainz, there's quite literally nothing she could do about it. At the same time, Ainz could always have Renner disposed of whenever he pleased regardless of the reason since Albedo doesn't even need one.
The second reason is the fact that Ainz is a Elder Lich. He physically cannot express facial emotion which makes it immediately nigh impossible to read him. Even through his actions its impossible to read him as everything he does always to leads to a conviently great outcome.
Renner has no choice but to see Ainz as the absolute Overlord or she risk the entire wrath of Nazarick, not that she had the option to doubt him the first place
Yeah I agree, even if Renner found out Ainz is faking it. It would be very very stupid of her to even mention it to anyone. She had no choice at all but to worship Ainz even f it is fake devotion in front of Nazarick's denizens

If she wants to live, she zips that info up and locks it away deep inside herself, because she's smart enough to realize that if she even whispered the words "Ainz is a fraud", the best case for her would be that her head hits the ground before she finishes the last word. Worst case she becomes an experiment or a toy for another guardian.
I too think that Ainz does not need to worry about her, but because this situation feels like what happened with the emperor. He thought there was a way to oppose Ainz, but in the end he found him to be a "mastermind" who's always ahead of him and surrendered the empire as the vassal state to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Now Renner thought she could take a break after achieving her goal and not worry about her position, but Ainz unknowingly once again showed how wrong she was, making her feel like she must constantly prove her own worth with all of her power in order to retain her place in the Nazarick, as was mentioned in the video. Thus, thanks to Ainz's incredible "luck" both the emperor and Renner will never even think of opposing him because there's no way they can win with his "genius".
The whole theory of a Renner's coup threat is overblown to extreme. Nazarick can easily drown this so called genius mind in Albedo's office paperwork to completely burn her out at work like it happens in real life. Corporate culture is scary, i tell you. And then, the only joy left for a mere office imp would be her eternal nights with her dear puppy. Each night the poor thing will entertain his ever frustrated mistress which in turn will be eager to kiss Albedo's boots just for an extra day-off. A century of the office torture without sign off will make her silky and obedient. And then... Over time... One day she will be appointed to rule some Nazarick province. Ainz would be proud for her efficiency and would praise her efforts just pretending to listen her reports.
Sometimes I tend to wonder if Ainz does stuff intentionally or accidentally, sometimes it’s hard for me to tell when the stuff he does isn’t thoroughly explained, like how Sam explains his antics

Apparently his intelligence is the real deal , he just doesn't realize his character stats affect him for real now.
there is a theory base on the fact that to be a magic caster in Yggdrasil, you have to level up your INT stat and LUCK stat, so when Ainz got transported, he subconcously become a genius from his high INT and things goes his way because of his high LUCK. Hence why he does smart things without knowing it while it also play to his favor

I mean I feel bad for them but they got a last meal and probably died fairly painlessly since it was Albedo that gave her the poison and not Demiurch. (Had it been Demi then he would have found a way to make them suffer several hours before dying but Albedo seems way more focused on efficiency unless it is someone that insulted Ains)
They would have died no matter what so idk...might have been a blessing in disguise for them.

@@bibbobella It probably wasn't very fast. They needed them all to ingest the poison. The kids probably ate first and if they all dropped dead first the staff probably wouldn't have ate between being suspicious and being too busy. The staff were probably hanging on by a thread while watching all of the kids die one after another while unable to do anything to help. For the staff it was anything but a painless death.
@@Wowezzersdozzers I don't remember what it's called, but there is a poison that takes around an hour to work. 20 minutes after ingestion you get drowsy, 30-40 minutes after ingestion you pass out, 45-60 minutes after ingestion your heart stops.

I have a strong theory about Ainz that comes from my background of Fantasy RPGs and TTRGPs, and it kinda explains how Ainz manages to manunver around such goliath monsters of Intelligence, like Demiurge, Albedo, Pandora's Actor, and now Renner.
See, MOST Fantasy RPGs have you build stat blocks for your character, and that system creates the character's strengths and weaknesses, right? And for MOST RPGs, when play a spellcaster, the stat that they use to buff/enhance the magic is the characters Intelligence. The higher the Intelligence, the more spells you can have/the stronger the spells become/the more you can use different spells at once, right?
So... going off of that, I believe Yggdrasil may have used a stat block system like that, which is why Ainz MP is so crazy big, because he dumped everything into Intelligence when leveling up. Pretty common practice when doing Caster builds.
However. What do you think would happen, to a person, if they were of a average intelligence, but were then suddenly transplanted into a body that had a near God level Intelligence? Say, for example, the average human intelligence is 9-10. And then that human's got put into an individual who had an intelligence for 29-30? What would that... DO to them? Would they notice? After all, how would you be able to tell if ypur IQ suddenly increased? Its not something you can physically feel. Emotions themselves are very difficult to differientiate and/or recognize by themselves, let alone the concious mind. And ESPECIALLY with the unconcious mind. So how would you tell you got smarter? Would you talk differently? Or would subconciously make more methodical decisions?
So... I have a theory that Ainz, along with his Luck stat, might actually subconciously be choosing to be making this extremely intelligent decisions on purpose, but in a VERY subconcious manner, because his actual intelligence as a Undead Lich Overlord is above 30. But his concious mind - which developed around a mid intelligence level - can't keep up, and doesn't notice. He gets an urge to do somethimg, not "knowing" it would put another individual into checkmate, or would bennifit Nazirick GREATLY. He just... gets the urge, and follows through. Not realizing his Lich body is again, influencing his decisions, because this effect is way more subtle than his Emotion Negating effect.

Yes yes... because Ainz (the player) is a human from the other world. But Ainz (the avatar) is so far, the most intelligent being in the entirety of the new world. I think that he's so smart that he's also insurmountably adaptable. Like even when he doesn't plan or things surprise him, his intelligence stat makes it so his "not planning" is actually a 100% perfect counter every time, regardless. I think a lot of people basically equate high intelligence to omnipotence. Ainz is the absolute clearest dividing line between being outherworldly smart, but not a psychic who can predict the future.
His intelligence is so far on another level that its instinctual. Its like "fighting with both hands tied behind your back" or like "beating a 10x champion chess grand-master in your sleep." The Avatar Ainz (deep subconscious and avatar stats) is so smart his conscious mind (the human player Ainz) cant even perceive it's existence. Unlike him being aware of emotion negation, he's _not_ aware of the true scope of his INT stat. Like when he unintentionally turned the empire into a vassal state in 3 days, "accidentally;" but Demiurge was thinking it'd take months.
His intelligence is a meta-ability a lot like "King" from One-Punch Man. [Spoiler Ahead]
King's ability is that everyone *perceives* him as unbeatable, and it's also paracausal (acts independently/outside of reality and the laws of nature) It changes the fabric of reality itself to maintain the illusion of invincibility at all times. So if he were to get shot point blank, his power would interfere and re-write history to make sure the gun was blank, and then he would stay alive. I mean, it is likely they at least encounter each other at some point. Probably a stammering sort of "how" and "why" from Climb, as well as being given a mental blow. But I sort of don't see any further interaction. The relationship they had before just doesn't fit in anyway to the current one, and their jobs are so different.
Tbh I expect to find Climb either doing not much except a bit of training in that settlement type thing on the 6th floor, maybe training with Hamsuke or other lower level fighter like that, or possibly being assigned to the Lizardmen village and getting to know Cocytus since he is someone with values fairly aligned to Climb. If they ever bring Brain back, I could totally see him and climb getting along with Cocytus very well, especailly if there was lots of opportunity to see him informally like at the Lizardman villages.
Someone said that Maruyama was actually asked if Climb and Sebas would meet again in Nazarick, and he said that it's possible, but only if Climb ever leaves the room, which seems to imply that Renner plans on keeping him in there.
I'm convinced that Ainz has a secret ultra luck ability that even he doesn't know about.

While I also feel sorry for Climb's situation, I think him *not* knowing how evil Renner is was the single drop of mercy the world granted him. As the saying goes, "ignorance is bliss".
He'll live on believing that the one person he was devoted to actually returned his feelings deeply enough to sacrifice herself for him, and that even though his home and friends were gone he still had Renner and they could actually be together (which otherwise would never be possible with him being a peasant and she a princess).
This, although not ideal, is still a much happier ending than if he had to live with the knowledge that Renner, the one who 'saved' him, was an amoral mastermind who orchestrated the fall of the kindom with her own hands, killed a bunch of children to become a demon of her own volition, killed her own father, and never even thought of Climb as a *person* (she indeed "loves" him, but as a pet, it's been mentioned before).
He'll get to spend all of eternity as her personal fucktoy. Not a bad fate at all.

usually for a season they use more than 1 volume, curently the last volumes translated in english not animated is the arc with the holy kingdom witch was announced to be released as a movie, and this season stops at volume 14, curently volume 15 and 16 are done but not translated in english both of them having the arc with the elf nation, didnt read them yet so idk if there is enought material to make a new season, but if there is not, the earliest time for season 5 will be when vol 17 will be released, witch might take 1 more year for release (hard to tell as the releases are not fixed) and then maybe half to another year to have new season confirmation. so is better to go to novel it saves you waiting
@@helix4608 I just read both the vols. (15 & 16). Ususally what Madhouse does is adapt 3 volumes for a season. But at the end of vol. 16 Murayama says that he'll complete overlord in 2 vols. (i.e. 18 vols in total as compared to when he said 17). With that said one could say vol 15 and 16 can be considered one volume as they are super short. So for the final season of the anime, I'd say it'll take 4-5 year (give or take) as Murayama himself doesn't know when he'll finish the last two volumes. Btw, you can find the translated version of the latest two volumes on overlord subreddit.
We're already confirmed to be getting a movie. But yeah after that, it'll probably be one final season if Maruyama stays true to the intended schedule.

Honestly I do wish someone from the new world would figure out Ainz's whole deal. Maybe not Renner because she'd be too dangerous to the plot, but someone more good-natured (the bonus story apparently does this with Evileye in an alternate timeline) just to give him someone to vocalize his thoughts towards.
Cuz one thing these videos and summaries make you realize is that the anime lacks a chance for many of the characters to vocalize their actual feelings on subjects they can't talk about out loud.
Like, someone who JUST watches the anime could have a completely different impression of Ainz's actions. Season 4 tried to rectify this over Season 3 by giving Ainz more mental asides indicating he really didn't know WTF he was doing, but it's a general adaptational weakness that is hard to surmount, especially when your main character literally cannot show emotion.

Renner could hold the sword because she can use her genius class levels to gain equivalent levels in another class for a period of time. That is separate from being an imp already.
That was from the Imp class. Imps have superhuman strength and stamina. Even with Renner's small body, she would have no problems swinging that heavy sword or running with it.

@Edalbyek Nowhere is stated that that sword is particularly heavy, plus it's not a regular sword, it's a magic one. The Dragonslayer is SO heavy that only Guts can lift it, so it's not a fair comparison.

I have a theory. Ainz' intelligence stat was max in the game and it is apparent that said stat has not translated directly into the new world. However I believe it has become much like a luck stat that specifically makes every move he makes look as if it was part of a massive century spanning plan that no being could fully understand and basically everything falls in place perfectly

I actually believe that as well. Only a portion of your brain is conscious like an iceberg. The rest of it is subconscious and below the surface. Ainz would have to be a "galaxy brain" to know over 700 spells (beyond the 300 spell limit) and the prerequisites probably require maxing out Genius class and the next tier: "Super Genius" or "Godlike Intellect". In her stats, Renner aka The Golden Princess has Genius Class Level 5 (max) and I'm sure Albedo, Pandora's Actor, and Demiurge are also at that level or beyond.

Its never really shown in the anime, but in the novel she was widely regarded as highly intelligent, yet extremely distrustful.
Even her family considered her a wild card, and at best simply didn't want to upset her. They rarely asked anything of her, but only would during borderline times of emergency where she tended to show her dark side less filterered.
They didn't hate her, they just knew she was playing her own game (just not to this degree) and wanted to not get on her wrong side.
The anime paints her in a decent light, she comes off as always having a ulterior motive/two faced. The promise of some land, and Climb was mostly intended to keep her from acting against them, as that's what they believed she wanted.

I believe the theory that Ainz's Int stat is factoring into all his actions. What Suzuki takes as actions without thought or actions on a whim are all IQ 1000 moves. He had already subconsciously calculated the correct move to make, without realising it.
I think that Season 4 managed to do extremely well with the finale. Climb actually got the best of the deal when a lot of others would meet a terrible demise, essentially rewarding the noble knight defending the princess from evil. I even liked how it answered questions as far as Season 2 when Shaltear sparred Climb upon seeing him because of the deals (unknowingly to the audience) being made with Renner to ensure that Climb wouldn't be harmed, a sign of really good writing and thinking ahead.
I love how this guy goes into detail. I just watch the show regular not knowing there is a lot behind each scene. Awesome job dude. Good thing I found your channel!

I remember months ago, in your old videos an avid Renner fan was adamant that she was a proper and "good ruler" because she saved the orphans, helped her brother with advices and spared some of the nobles before the attack. Oh, little did they know... the orphans were al sacrificed, the noble were spared because Ainz wanted appease the human sympatizer (Nigredo, Sebas, Pestonia...), the advices she gave to her bro was part of her scheme... Renner's character is surely fascinating and intriguing but that shouldn't be a reason to see her as a kind a benevolent leader since she has no once of regret in sacrifing her entire kingdom. The fact that she put her own needs over the people out her from the role of a king/queen. Though I do applaude the anime for being able misguide the viewers into belaving Renner was also merciful and thoughtful sister. it equally show how good Renner was in acting too. I hope we'll see more of her haha. I'm curious how she and Climb are fairing in Nazarick.
I think things will go rather poorly for Renner shortly. The things she'll ask of climb in order to become demon will undoubtedly make him hate himself. He'll probably be a shell of his former self and that look of adoration he gives Renner will forever disappear. And that will make Renner go crazy since it was all that she wanted.

Don’t underestimate hatred and/or sex. Having your first time with such beautiful and yet vile woman may just trap someone mentally. Sometimes the pleasure is too strong to give up, especially with such weak mind Climb now has. He will go dumber, yes, but he will still be loyal, even more adoring (if sex included) and completely oblivious to her deeds, which are all the things Renner wants.

Climb is in for a long and fulfilled life. Barring unforeseen circumstances. He'll be the Miles O'Btrien of the series, suffers plenty but still somehow makes it through everything despite the other half being (unknowingly to him) capable of horrible things.
They both will be tortured in some way. Renner will be full of frustration, since she is no longer a spoiled princess but a mere weak imp drowned in Albedo's paperwork. Climb will stay loyal to Renner as it's his only purpose to live and to serve left, yet will be shattered because of his helplessness. He will feel something gone wrong for his loving mistress yet will be denied of truth again.
You gotta admit, what the anime did best was animate some Hanzos cheering with Mare

So essentially that Fallen Seed is like The Baylet Griffith used in Berserk. A Sacrifice or Sacrifices are needed to activate it, in order to obtain Godhood or in Renner's case become a Demon. 🕵🏿♂️
I believe it was the fancy box that was holding the seed that also required the sacrifices. In order to open the box, you needed a minimum amount of negative karma. And one easy way of farming that negative karma is to kill innocent children.
The reason why I rewatch Overlord from season 1 ep.1 to last season is because of this channel. I kept waiting for Danmachi update in this channel for the entire last Season. Now i'm looking forward for the next Season of Overlord cuz why not.

Renner has 2 classes Actor and Genius, what we are seeing is the affects of the Genius Class.
[Character Sheet: Renner]
Genius is a special class wherein its levels are interchangeable with all basic or civilian classes. That said, it can only replace one class at a time (currently). Renner mostly uses this class to substitute for Princess levels.
We see multiple examples of her using this class:
* Warrior Class to swing the sword.
* Warrior Class to keep up with Climb running.
* Cook, so she can make soup for the orphans. (without the class all food turns to charcoal even for new worlders)
We also don't see any of the physical changes either.
One of the things i like about overlord is that the anime rly make characters smart, gnrly what we have is a character that is made to "look smart", it get praises to make obvious things that the stupid characters around them didn't, by maybe suffocation you with information to make it look like is complex when its not, or simple bcse they eliminate necessary information from the spectator point so its "surprising"; but overlord rly does characters act in ways that are clearly to everyone, and even so when you think is rly a smart move, as you would see applied in real life.
Climb deserves all the suffering he experiences from here on out. He is stupid and really doesn't learn much. He is so loyal he wouldn't dare question any of Renner's words, even if her actions and words sometimes seem contradicting or suspicious at times. HE disregards them. Renner and Climb are a match made in heaven. He gets everything he deserves.
I like to think that since ainz characters has god like iq that every decision he think he is making and is unsure of is actually his character passively giving him the answers leading to the best possible outcome

A better understanding on why Renner was able to to do the feats she did is that her skill Genius could switch to a different skill as needed, like having skills in warrior to be able to weld the sword so effortlessly. The draw back being she could only switch level of genius so was limited to 5 levels that could be adjusted.
Yet another Sasuga Ainz moment by going to the throne room himself.

I feel like ainz (while thinking he’s making these brilliant plays on accident) is actually doing them on purpose, considering Yggdrasil was an rpg game it’s safe to say that an intelligence stat existed and in most rpg games magic builds usually require high intelligence stats so under the pretense that it’s the same case in Yggdrasil it’s safe to say that ainz has pretty high intelligence and thus (without him realizing it) it greatly increased his own innate intelligence, let’s take into consideration the psychology of intelligent people and stupid people, most stupid people will usually never question their intelligence, they will always dive head first under the pretense that they’ve already won, and they are always right. Intelligent people on the other hand will usually always question and 2nd guess themselves, taking ainz for example despite how he feel about his own intelligence he constantly creates plans, back up plans, and even back up plans for his back up plans, he doesnt go through with a plan until it’s 100% full proof, and even the cases when demiurge explains “his” plans ainz still executes them masterfully, he probably just isnt aware how intelligent he really is because intelligence isn’t like a muscle where you’ll directly see the clear growth, intelligence also isn’t how much information you know, true intelligence is how fast your able to process, understand, use and create information. I feel like it’s ainz’s knowledge of the new world which is low considering knowledge is retained information and obviously he retains zero information since it’s all new to him, give him a few years and I’m sure he will truly be the evil overlord he’s pretending to be right now
TLDR: ainz is subconsciously super intelligent due to his most likely high intelligence stats from Yggdrasil.

This is actually his talent, his unpredictability is his force against those who on a basic have much higher intelligence. In the novel there's a part describing how, after attaining all of her goals (immortality and Climb), Renner was so happy she could burst into dance and song. The anime took this literally and had her dance and sing around the room. 😂
I believe the singing and dancing was partly due to the story written in the LN, but it was also a song that the Voice Actress for Renner was going to release soon.
So you had both a VA that could sing well along with a story that basically said to sing and dance. And the song was already written too.

Midway through this season, I realized somthing odvious. Nazarick, as a howl, is infallible. There's literaly nothing in the new world that could even come close to posing a problem to Anze and the floor guardianse. Even PDL, the strongest entity in the new world, doesn't seem like all that much of a threat.
For this reason, I ended up droping Overlord. I find it a shame because EVERITHING, from the world to the characters that inhabit it, is just so well writen that I can't help but feel amazed.
I'm still in the midst of sorting out these conflicting feelings. What I'm hoping is that Kugane Maruyama is building up Ainz as this god only to make the "final battle with X enumy" feel that much more upic and worth the wait.

The dragon lords are the only main threats as they are all above level 90. Pdl is likely 95-100.

Seriously, if you just want a strong protagonist fight against ever stronger evil opponents and barely beat each one, but still beat each one, you can literally just pick something random out of 90% of all shonens in existence. That's the must run of the mill thing in anime. Overlord is one of my favorite 5 because it's not like the 50.000 others.

I guess Ainz and Jack Sparrow are similar in that way: was it intentional or do they make up shit as they go and it just works out? The end result is that it always works out anyway. To me Overlord is a story of a low level employee bullshitting his way into a top level position and being constantly worried someone will find out, but the rest of the staff is competent and oblivious enough to just make everything work.
