My favorite dark-side option is honestly killing that rich guy who was hunting Evocaii for sport in one of the side-quests on Hutta. I have no idea why killing what's essentially a serial killer is dark side and letting him go is light side.
And the one lightside choice I simply resist on Dromound Kaas with those sith acolytes praying on the civilians.

@@babyjiren9676 No, pretty sure killing a Czerka executive could have serious consequences, like you could have a bounty placed on your head for killing an executive of a powerful corporation. Also, you can't solve every problem by killing a murderer, because then that starts a cycle of revenge.
cause sadly they just always look at stuff as "good guys show mercy, always" removing all of the other context

I feel like an underrated DS option is sending the force-sensitive flesh raider who kidnapped one of the settler's kids flying into the bonfire as a Jedi on Tython. The fact that it just explodes on impact for no discernible reason cracks me up every time.
I made this and Man... It was actually Bad, Bad worst is One mission where you need to decide If you Want to sacrifice over 10 innocent engineers Just to use an elevator

Darth Marr is skilled in the dark art of understatement.
That was Malgus. Not Marr.
To be fair, Vowrawn & Shaar were both Dark Council members at that point in time, so Malgus very likely contacted you precisely because he sensed their sudden deaths through the Force, and he wanted to ensure their deaths were not a sign that something extremely bad had just happened.
That was Darth Malgus. Darth Marr died back in the first chapter of KOTFE.
My two favorites are
1. Smuggler Storyline. Killing Doctor Lazhae on Nar Shaddaa.
2. The Bounty Hunter's SECOND punch of the noble right after yours. That line, "You're a slow learner." before beating the shit out of him. *chef's kiss*
When i was playing a more Light Side BH, i went to Alderaan with this interaction in mind. I sincerely tried to go for the Light Side option and be diplomatic, hit escape after hearing his furhter insults and chose Dark Side with no regrets.
Smuggler on Alderran when you get challenged to a duel you can make back to back dark side choices to shoot him before it officially starts. He’s a pompous d-bag like most of the nobles on the planet, so it’s very cathartic to bring him down to half health in the cutscene before you fight him. And since the nobles you are helping are a brother and sister combo, the male smuggler can nail the sister, while the female smuggler can take the brother and rock his world to the point where he considers giving up his title and flying away with her. Corso definitely disapproved of that course of action.
The "Onderon is safe senator, that's all you need to know" line after killing petryph is 10x better as the male agent as well, delivery was just *chef's kiss*.
Ooh, I gotta try that then ;) Not that far on the male agent yet.

Underrated DS option is becoming "sister" with the Twi'lek as a Jedi in some of the opening missions. And taking part in the ritual that bonds you both as family. I do it each time and never tell the Jedi master lol.

My personal favorite will be killing the S.I.S. as Cipher Nine after breaking free from the mind control.
I remember how shocked I was when I got brainwashed and angry since I was a big Imperial Loyalist. It felt bad being under their influence, so when I finally broke free I just unleashed my anger on them, specially on Ardun Kothe.
Punching and then killing Saresh, you mean... Lol

Either it's to thin out my competition or because I am a saboteur. tbh, most of the time, he is the emperor for me, so untouched ;)
Personally I think imprisoning saresh and have her watch and rot while you build your alliance into the strongest force in the galaxy is VERY satisfying.
@@hunterrhoades1813 True, but killing her is just the safest option. Sometimes you have to sacrifice pleasure for certainty! Ask pretty much any sith ever. They treasure life above anything else! Their own most of all!
@@IllevaSWTOR Wait but that means you sacrificed Acina instead of Malcom?! That is a mistake! Lore wise at least. Acina on the throne is very malleable and can be easily influenced. Especially by your character! She may sit on the throne, but you as a Dark Council member with all your deeds are superior to her in every way and she knows that very well! Vowrawn, on the other hand, is a traditionalist who may have helped the Emperor's wrath in the past, but unlike Acina knows how to really play the long game! Vowrawn on the throne means less freedom and power for your character!
Saving Malcom as an Imp loyalist is a terrible mistake. He already hates you as is and tries to work with you simply to gain control over Iokath, but his influence over the Republic army, its people, and potential influence on Theron makes him the most dangerous opponent out of these 3 options!
In my eyes, Malcom simply HAS to die! As much as I like Theron, his parents need to die as they are one of the last remnants of potentially dangerous defiance. Once gone, there is nobody left to oppose Nox as his discovery on Rishi makes him essentially immortal! And the older the force user is, the more powerful he becomes! Whether you want to reshape the empire or keep it as it was for thousands of years, none of that will matter as long as these people are still alive!
The moment you are the last one standing is the moment you may FINALLY begin your work! In the end, everyone will bend to Nox's will!
No matter how dark I am, I will never touch a hair on Vowrawn, I love him too much.
I think one of my favorite dark moments was taking back my seat on the dark council

He was way to easy to kill, that should've been a fight particularly when his apprentice is there as well.
As Sith Warrior I had to kill him so ( as I thought actually would happen eventually) Acina would trust me or not suspect anything, but after I killed him I also apologized for such indignity movement toward him

It is, but I kinda finding him annoying, so having the option, although I rarely use it, is nice.
I killed him on my sith warrior before ever playing the consular class story, so i never knew he was a companion. Knowing that now makes me feel sort of bad, even though he drives me up the wall

There are quite a few companions who can die in the expansions. Skadge is only one of them.
Wasn't exactly a dark side moment but one of my favorite scenes as a Smuggler was on Tatooine, where the Sith and Jedi were trying to mind trick you and you called them ridiculous, then you call your companion a fucking moron for being mind tricked after you.
And there's also the Bounty Hunter's "You will realize what a complete idiot you are." moment when a Jedi tries to mind trick them. For bonus points it clearly unnerves and frightens the Jedi's Padawan that her Master failed to mind trick you.
I would say killing Overseer Harkun was pretty satisfying. I played as a super light side Inquisitor yet I still eliminated him when presented with the chance. He was a big bully. :(
The best thing for me with harkun as a LS was to mind trick him.
“He’s passed all his trials, you will give him your lightsaber.” And he does it!
Saying goodbye to Harkun at the end of the Korriban story, i told him he was an excellent instructor. I feared and hated him, and grew stronger with the Dark Side as a result. One of my few LS choices - because, essentially, he was.

@@Michael-kd1ho - I had a similar outlook on Harkun. I thought I'd want to kill him because I couldn't stand him at first, but the things he says when you meet him later are true, and I'm not about to kill a man for speaking the truth, even if the truth is inconvenient. However annoying and brutal his methods were, he did cultivate you into one of the most powerful Sith alive, and Xalek *did* deliberately disobey the rules of the trials in front of a Lord and an overseer. In the end it was close, but ultimately I didn't think he deserved to die.

In gen chat, I once saw skadge described as an angry tumor and now that's all I know him as. I actually forget his name sometimes...

not really the same thing but killing Thanaton at the end of the inquisitor story is satifying (even though its technically not you that kills him, but that one dark council member who snaps his neck).
He just hassles you for so long during that storyline it makes you loathe him. cause unlike Baras in the Warrior storyline, where he is mostly fine with you until the last chapter, Thanaton lets you know right away he wants you dead, and it just escalates from there.
I kept getting distracted by how cute the outfits were 😂
The one darkside choice that still upsets me that it's a darkside choice is in the Corellia story arc pub side. There's a Corellian senator who sold out the planet to the empire and when you confront him on it your choices are 1. Forgive him and tell him to help his constituents with the recovery effort for LS points 2. Tell him to resign and come clean to his constituents for DS points. 3. Kill him for DS points.
I am disappointed that telling him to resign and be held accountable for his actions gives DS points.
Interesting thing I noticed when replaying the sith warrior, Vowrawn on corellia said "spare me the indignation of decapitation" and look at what happens to him on mek sha 🤣
The third choice shows exactly the weakness of the Empire, the constant infighting. I usually base my choices on the character of Darth Marr. Strengthening the empire were possible.
Marr is what the sith could and should be. He is the best character imo! Love him with all my heart! XD
#1 every single airlock scene. It doesn't matter how lightside the character I'm playing is, I just can't pass up an opportunity to send folks out an airlock while cackling maniacally.

All 5 choices were great, but the icing on the dark side cake is your impression of palpatine " Unlimited Power!!". Truly brought a smile to my dark side heart🖤. Lol
killing koth was the most absolute gratifying thing ive ever done in this game it wasnt even about lana it was his goody goody attitude after planting a bomb on his own crews ship and acting like he had the moral high ground despite the fact he always pushes you to the other choice no matter what you chose
Some of these are certainly good ones (I'd never kill Vowrann though). There are quite a few others for me: Tossing Draahg into the fire. "If I had a credit for every time someone I was about to kill predicted my doom." Killing all of Nomen Karr's men on the spy ship is also up there. Wipes that smug little sanctimonious attitude right off his face. Killing Duke Kendoh on Alderaan.
recruiting Skadge on Belsavis in the first place never, ever, EVER, made sense to me. If it was up to me, I would've left him behind... if not shot him on sight when I first found him menacing that girl.
Punching the stuck-up noble on Alderaan, then punching him again (and again and again) when he demands you apologize, never gets old.
I don't agree with killing the Captain of the Black Talon; primarily because he's the only competent member of the crew.
I felt a great deal of satisfaction killing Tano Vik on my trooper.

I think we agree that NO ONE liked Skadge in my play i wanted to kill him the very first moment he open his damn mouth even my most darkest chars would kill him regardless how usefull he might be. sadly you can not direct kill him you must wait. for the king well my imperial chars are loyal so he survived and can play further i am allmighty king but i humiliate him every time and he not even noticed it.

Pretty sure that's actually a light side decision because you don't do it yourself (that's the way it works with Duke Kendou on Alderaan).

Next best thing to punching Saresh is slicing her open with my lightsaber, even as a Light Side Sith or Jedi. Plus, Theron's comment at it happening was the best.
My favorite is definitely feeding the Voss Mystic to Sel Makor in the Jedi Knight Voss Storyline, not only is it funny but it’s also so satisfying to see the Voss are wrong, they’re so fatalistic that they become really insufferable, so proving their believes wrong in the most defiant way possible is fun.
Technically the most satisfying thing about Sarash is if you either kill her or imprison her is Theron's reaction. He's amused/happy. And Theron is a goodie-two shoes. Lmao

When it came to Saresh I killed her on my Jedi Knight simply because she was a threat to the stability of the Republic and the galaxy as a whole, and my Jedi just had enough of her schemes and her inability to compromise, even in the face of a potential galactic scale threat.

Executing the Imperial plant when you're asked to testify in the trooper storyline will always be my favorite. Close second is trying to have an inappropriate 3 way with Dorne and that woman who's husband got blown up with bombs on Tatooine.

My 2 favs are the BH "They're your credits" kill on alderaan and the INQ gormak finger lightning kill just cause they are so casual about it lol
I didn't do the Gormak kill. By that point, anything that would tick off the Voss was good with me. That said, my Sith Warrior will give Draag that fate when it comes up in the storyline.
Honorable mention: Punching that Moff at the beginning of the Quesh Plantary quest. If you're Mando, it feels mandatory. Also, killing Rusk and Skage is kinda worth it.

I know most people despise Skadge. Me, I kind of like the big guy. I rather keep him alive and listen to his rude complaining while I send him on crew missions.
My favorite dark side choice is letting that young couple on Tython keep their romance a secret.

My most favorite dark side choices were as a rep trooper, when you and Aric are called to a hearing and the DS choice is to just play dumb and say "i dont know" on repeat. The meltdown these politicians get is so satisfying because its what we wanna see IRL
You missed the darkside option as a Warrior where you kill 2 Hutts on Nar Shaddaa during your class story... this was just a great option. Skadge is a good one, as is Broonmark
Most Satisfying kill was killing Companion Quinn as Sith Warrior, especially if you chose to fight for the Republic on Iokath and Quinn betrays you again. The options you get to force this man to beg for his life loudly, and then finally choosing to imprison or kill him. I love it when you choose to kill him you say, "You don't deserve prison." or if you romanced him, "I could never lock you away in prison, my love." And Quinn is all like, "That's wonderful---" then the Sith Warrior holds Quinn by the shoulder with one hand and the other plunges their lightsaber into Quinns chest and the facial animation was just so satisfying.
I mean is it a betrayal again when you, yourself, betrayed the Empire (a big ally against Vailyn) and sided with the Republic who is lead by a man who makes it clear he wants to wipe it out (I mostly go with Republic but I'm gonna call a spade a spade when it comes to Malcolm). Would the same apply if you played a Trooper who romanced Dawn who chooses to fight against you if you pick the Imperial side or refuses to join you if you killed Aric. I don't exactly expect someone who was shown to be very patriotic about his home to instantly turn on it because of the MC (if anything, that be OOC). Heck, he doesn't exactly defect from the Empire, he turns himself in as a prisoner of war and even then he did that when he found out Acina was gonna screw the Empire over trying to use the super weapon.
I loved acting as Baron Malfus with my friends. We turned his epic little dialogue into something way too fun.

With number 3 I was completely caught off gourd because I was just expecting a slash to kill them next thing I know their heads are on the floor
I find it amusing that these are all imperial side choices of universal choices, nobody has any love for the republic and I find that very heartening.

Number 3 is the absolute best one, when they show lightsabers doing what they are meant for...decapitations.
One of the quests, I always choose "Dark Side" is to kill that Czerka guy on Hutta, hunting the Evocii for sport. It is just a shame, that you first have to do a light side choice of refusing his bribe, before you can kill him.
I spared Skadge on my Bountyhunter, because, I kind of like the idea of a Houk bodyguard hanging around and didn't know, the terminal exists... So I just pretend it is not him. :D

one of my absolute favorites is killing the dreamwalkers immediately after learning how to dreamwalk from them. It's just so perfect as a sith choice to make, like "thanks for teaching me what I wanted, now you serve no purpose, die".
Saresh: "I saw an opportunity and I took it. I won't apologize for that."
You hired *hit men* to kill the leaders of the only two galactic powers openly opposing the Eternal Empire, and then tried to assume command of one of them, all because the Shroud blocked your bid to pull a Palpatine and be named Chancellor for Life.
Not to mention Saresh was responsible for feeding Vitiate enough Republic troops for him to eat all of Ziost, and kick off all the Eternal Empire nonsense in the first place.
The previous Chancellor? The one you take in as a Bounty Hunter? *He* felt remorse, and his crimes were MINOR compared to Saresh.
My Light-side Jedi Consular cut her down without hesitation. Her lust for power would be enough to make Darth Baras blush, and she somehow managed to be BREATHTAKINGLY incompetent in her actual leadership role, but amazingly good at the politics of gaining power and coming out looking good. (How she managed to spin a fiasco like Taris into a win for the Chancellor's seat is something I'll never know). She's too dangerous to leave alive; She would burn the Republic to the ground in order to 'save' it.
Also it made Theron happy.
Though Skadge is a loathesome creature that you're practically _forced_ to take along no matter your character's disposition, killing Kaliyo and Scorpio are probably tied at #1 for me. Those monsters deserved a blaster bolt between the eyes pretty much from the moment you met them and only made it worse with time. Kaliyo requires some prior knowledge and another choice you might not have made, but it's worth it to remove her from the galaxy.
i might be the only one who likes both these characters! XD

I can't stand either of them. Scorpio is basically Ultron so hella dangerous if left unchecked (and she has proven again and again she'd kill you instantly to further her goals).
Kaliyo is just unreliable. If you play a half decent Agent, killing her is a no brainer since she basically tried to use you over and over again for her own gains. Hell, as an Agent you can even warn her that her trying to sell Imperial classified Information is the last straw.
And even as any other Class you get a very quick insight of her just using everyone around her for her own benefit, and then betrays them. Add to that the incident where she cannot follow simple Orders and gets four of your Men killed, and acts like you should thank her for that, yeah....dunno what she expected talking to a Sith like that, in my case.

Best choice is when you kill to get your seat back to the dark council holy jesus that was great.
1. Killing Saresh.
2-5. Every instance where you get to kill a hutt.

When I killed Petryph, I said nothing to the senator. I think silence made the scene even better.
Killing officer as Sith Warrior in Class story who said that Baras will kill him if he says you info, you promise to kill him if he won’t reveal. In the end he surrenders and asks what to say to Baras. You have option to kill him saying “I ll save you from trouble”. After being stabbed he will say “Oh, unfair…”
my personal favourite comes almost right away in your personal story on the starting planet. if I type out the dialogue, it's easy to guess which story it is. You: "scream weakling, I want to hear your suffering". it's especially satisfying as a female, because I like her voice.
Leaving the Ambassador to the imperials during the Esseles Flashpoint. I don't care how lightside my Jedi is. I do it every time.
No one mentioned killing Thana Vesh on Taris? I hated her through the whole planetary mission... Every time.
I killed her because, even as a mostly Light-sider, Vesh is too dangerous to ignore. Furthermore, she thinks that she, as an unskilled Apprentice who rushes in and hits everything until it dies, honestly thinks she’s a threat to the party who has chewed through people who can overpower her like copy paper? Get out of here!
But first, let me save those last refugees. Just rub it in a little more that you can’t hurt those innocent people any more than you’ve already done so.

4:40 that scene right there makes me wish that if SWTOR gets a remake instead of telling Lana to kill both you can also order her to Kill one of the Two and threaten the other with intimidation. I would gladly spare Vowrawn and tell Lana to decapitate Shaar cause Vowrawn seems like a nice guy to have.
My favorite in the game is on a Bounty Hunter telling that one mouthy mando if he's still there when you get back you're gonna kill him - then you do.
I believe that the Trooper choice on Taris should have been included as well. There, Trooper encounters an Imp officer that committed countless atrocities, and Trooper is given a choice of letting him go, or killing him. Personally, I killed him with every Trooper I've played, despite being a Lightsider, and Aric and Elara actually approved of my choice. Hell, Elara even found a way to keep Trooper's killing of him a secret.
Even my LS Bounty Hunter rattled that guy's chops XD
I wish that characters have specific prior strikes for Saresh. Like Lightning for SIs. Or just killing her with Lightning. Or both. Hitting her with Lightning at the start and then finishing her off with it.
I agree with number 2. That king guy needs to stop saying he is the king every 2 sentences.

For me, that whole scene with Saresh counts as 2 satisfying choices as I can't help but execute her too.

My favorite dark side moments were when my Sith Inquisitor had an option to motivate someone. Every single time I had a dip stick second guess me I zapped them. Usually did it again after they gave me what I wanted if it was an option.
There is one more satisfying dark side choice that I feel you left out. Killing Quinn. As a Sith Warrior it is one of the most satisfying actions in the whole game.
Thought I would find it in the comments, you can't trust him.
As a female Sith Warrior I just got out of the cutscene multiple times just to re-do it over and over as it was quite satisfying to kill him. Telling him you are taking him back as your husband, then kill him.
That’s literally the only reason I chose the republic on Iokath

edit: oh and one i think is good too is the flesh raider on Tython you can kill instead of inviting it to the temple’s
I like this but my favorite was shooting tarro blood before fighting him
The darkside choice at the end of the hut expansion was really fun. Using the mining lasers to kill the enemies

Tens of thousands of innocents dying kind of puts a damper on things, though.
Killing Koth for stealing the tombstone to satisfy his hero complex because stealing it cause just as many death's the fool was never a hero
Force choke Quinn after his betrayal was quite satisfying.
SWTOR has amazing DS moments but nothing can top making those 2 guys jump to their deaths in KOTOR 2 on Nar Shadaa lol
Yup, all my more gratifying game choices as well. I also happen to despise Broonmark and took glee in being able to knock him off as well.
My #1 is Jaessa killing her former master.
My favorite was always the mission where you can cut off that persons head then bring it back to someone in the cantina and drop it on the table.
I also loved when you killed the mother and son by force throwing the son against the wall and then force pulling the mother into your lightsaber.

Killing Ardun Kothe as the Imperial Agent was the most satisfying death I've ever seen in this game.
Killing them all. I just regret not beeing able to kill the Keeper, the watchers and the Dark Council for that brainwashing business.
@@jonnyso1 Keeper and The Minister later apologized to you, saying that the Dark Council would've went after you because they were scared of you since you survived Jadus. If not for them, Cipher Nine would've been killed. But yes killing Ardun Kothe was amazing
