Actually, had you kept to the Light Side, they would have made you a Master and Council member at the start of the Rift Alliance. Interesting. There IS a cost for going Dark side, even if it is small.
so you can be an asshole the whole game and fall to dark side, but in the end all they do to you is kindly tell you that you're best offworld fighting meatbags rather then become one of the Jedi council members hmm not a big los xD
I found the Sith (Warrior and Inquisitor) storylines to be much more enjoyable than the Jedi versions. I'm currently ranking up a Knight and Consular and I'm trying to get through their stories as fast as I can because they are so fucking boring. I'm actually glad I finished the storylines for the Empire first, as the only storyline I enjoyed on the Republic side was the Smuggler one. Other than that, the rest of the Republic class stories were just seriously lacking. If you are reading this and planning on playing, DEFINITELY go Empire. You'll enjoy the storylines a lot more.
i finished the republic sides first (exception warrior) and i only liked the trooper. maybe it was jennifer hale as the voice actress. imp side is much more fun
@Son Gohan I would like to add to your comment regarding Sith Warrior that it is quite well written, but it is really dependent on the choices you make in conversations, and I mean *dependent*. The thing that it makes great for me is the fact that he rose from a simple pawn of Baras and errand boy to the man that belongs to one of the Emperor's power base, his "close circle", as he stands above the Dark Council itself. So being the Emperor's Wrath, a.k.a executioner, makes him almost the same as Vader at the beginning of his Sith career, an executioner.
dageezerboi For consular there are 3 endings. The lightside ending you save master Syo Bakarn and he returns to normal and you become a a Jedi council member. The other 2 ending are the darkside endings. For both you will NOT become a council member. Also, in both ending Syo Bakarn gets crushed by a rock the "more" darkside ending is when the consular kills Syo with a rock and the other one is when the rock just falls on him.
HunterFireFlower Which basically means you still are a hero, you defeat the bad guy and you still save the day and have no consequences... I've seen Sith Lightside choices that are darker than Jedi Light side choices.
***** Yeah, it is kind of disappointing that you don't get somewhat scolded at the end there like you do in the Jedi Knight's story's dark side ending. I still prefer the title, though. Council duty sounds suuuuuper dull.
This is why I never liked the Jedi Consular story. You get everything handed to you. Master in Chapter 1. Rift alliance and democratic squabbles in Chapters 2 and 3. Then in the end you don't get a council seat. Like for the Sith Inquisitor. You have to fight for every bit you gain then in the end become a Dark Councilor with a whole reclamation service and silencer fleet. Easily one of many reasons why playing Sith is far more fun and the stories more enjoyable.
Interesting, if you are dark sided, they do not want you on their council and post you to a military position. Interesting. While the Knight gets straight up rejected the rank of Master.
@@whifu3219 First character I made was a LS trooper. Did one dark side choice, at the very end. I have not ran that character through Eternal Throne yet. I should do that soon.
Wow only came here for the comments to see if consular is even worth it for story and it looks like it isn't at all. wanted to do a darkside shadow and seems its the worst ending.... wowie guess im not gonna even touch that character.
Tara Burris The opinions here aren’t all encompassing; don’t let them stop you from enjoying a classic Jedi story. You’ll also notice most are from years ago-it aged better than some. In comparison to the others, the consular story is good, not the best, but good. And dark side is more about being pragmatic than evil (as are most “dark” decisions in the Pub side). Think Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Jolee Bindo, or any of the countless fallen Jedi, if you plan a dark side run.
@@gogogaga7441 To me the worst class story in the game is the BH. I know I'm in the minority, but to me, it only makes sense doing light side. I rank them in this order, Agent, Inquiz, Warrior, Smuggler, Knight, Councilor, Trooper, Bounty Hunter. The only one I have no desire to run through again is the BH. I'll run though the other seven stories without issue.
You are a master but we do not grant you the rank of council member
Feels worse than being on the concil as a knight ngl
Well I’m gonna go Anakin.
Edit : I went full Anakin at the start !
@@keno502 there was one other rocuncil member who wasn’t a master that know wan mentioned
The opposite of Anakin. Made a Master but not a Council Member.
yes
most masters are not council members.
"What, no council member? How you can be a master and not have a seat in the Jedi Council?"
"That's Outrageous, that's unfair!"
So.....qui gon

And yet going light Sid win tye sith doesn’t seem to bother the dark council or the hands of the emperor, you still become wrath or death nox
@@hyhena-gaming9986 Light side Inquiz doesn't get named Nox, they're Imperious. Occulus is a grey inquiz.
@@LdyVder yeah thanks for the correction, I played inquisitor once as dark lol
No you join the council at the ceremony on coruscant, you’re just made a master at the beginning of chapter 2

I agree ☝🏼
I like the knight storyline. Still, my first completed story was the inquisitor story.
That. And even if you play light side.
@@karlrovey Same here. Knight and warrior are my favorites.
Inquisitor and consular are hard to get through the boring 1st chapter

My consular is far more evil than this
She is pissed and angry, cares about nobody and kills without any bad feelings
Sounds like sith to me
Yah Ngl
Mine isn’t evil, just sneaky and corrupt. She has no problem taking bribes or covering up for the Republic’s crimes.
I'm sorry but I found the sith warrior storyline the most enjoyable
ye cause working on darth fatso is so enjoyable lul .
Most of imperial storylines are better written then republic, especially Sith Inquisitor.

As a recent player this year (four or less months ago) I agree. Tbf tye empire's branch is way more fun
I personally really enioy the inquisitor, it's too bad the male has a lot of repeated voice lines. That really annoys me
10:36 he might as well just said “look, you scare us”
Was that a DS ending? Where's the darkness there?
yeah wtf, title must be wrong, this is obviously lightside.

Light-side Consulars get a council seat, it's only Dark-side ones that don't
Force persuade is so scummy and the jedi use it all the time its so immoral you can legit make someone forget their mother

"you are not on this council and we do not grant you the rank of master. fuck off" -jedi council talking to the jedi knight
Back when everyones characters looked just awful LOL
Consular storyline was the most boring by far, followed by trooper.
Maybe it's boring if you only go with "Yes, sir!" options instead of being an ass to everybody. DS Trooper is very fun to play.
