A very well put together video! You demonstrated a deep understanding of all the mechanics(even the wonky ones) and broke them down into chewable bits for the audience. Hope you'll do a Beastmoon Monster Mayhem tier list next :).
I wanna point out that re: Euryale's Wail and Stunning Swarm are both amazing spells. Not being able to stun chain isn't great, but the damage they bring means that you can use it as a one-stun combo with something else to kill. And also, with Myth Drake, you can STILL stun chain with Euryale's Wail. >:D
hey, just wondering. how were you able to get enough moongold dust to craft all 48 forms? i'm trying to start my own collection but have immediately run into that roadblock. looks like you get 6 from meager's bm mayhem quest and 4 from the mayhem battlepass, which is only enough to unlock one form a month.
Good question! The quickest way to unlock every form is to play both beastmoon mayhem and hunt (not just mayhem). In fact, I’ve unlocked all 48 forms from just hunt itself, which I’ve been playing since 2020. This explains why I have 300+ moongold dust saved up in my inventory 😂 Never needed to rely on mayhem for forms. But if you’re just starting out, play both events!
Absolutely amazing video bro. I can confidently say you are the most entertaining wiz UA-camr to date. The ice berg videos, the Easter eggs, and now this absolute gem of a video. Please please please keep doing what you do. Content creators like you help keep this game alive after so many years.
Thank you so much man! 🙏 really appreciate kind words like this. people like you give me the motivation to keep putting out the best content i can. Much more awesome wiz content on the horizon! 😄
Great video! Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but the Myth Fairy minion spells such as Ember Legends and Stoke The Ember can also be used if your ally puts one of their own minions in play. It's super helpful, especially when deck RNG prevents you from pulling your minion summons.
I haven’t played wizard 101 in YEARS and had no idea there was such a thriving community for it. I love this video and will be my “fall asleep” Video for the next couple days until I finally finish it and absorb all the information that means nothing to me
Haha yes! Believe it or not the community’s still thriving over a full decade later! And lmao that’s awesome to hear. You know I made it when I’ve become people’s fall asleep video. Such an honor 🤣
Wow! This is a great video. Excellent information and depth. If I ever get into beastmoon hunt I’ll have an amazing guide for it. Thank you so much and keep it up! :)
I love rewatching this video, there so many forms, the video is so well structured and it’s so long that it’s great background noise to whatever I’m doing Hopefully in a couple of years you can remake this video, though that would be a huge project given the length of it already 😅
You might be the first person to have watched the whole vid! Awesome 🥳🎉 I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully this vid helped inform you on some good beastforms to pick up!
Hey all! Just want to say thank you all so much for the support ❤ First off, I apologize for the few times throughout the video where my "p" sound (for instance, when saying the word "pip") crackles. I'm hoping this doesn't interfere with the overall experience. I recently bought a pop filter to place over my microphone, so this won't be an issue in future videos. Anyway, this video took months of effort to make (just like my Iceberg video), and I couldn't be happier with how it came out 🙌 Definitely leave a comment with all your thoughts regarding my form rankings + spell ratings. I'd love to read all your feedback! Hope you all enjoy! 😁 Oh, and this time I'm beginning development on Iceberg pt 2 for real 😉
Right 😂 I think i’m going to wait a little longer until I make a part 2, just so there will be enough new forms to make it as massive of a video as this one :)
@@GladrockerI’ve been doing really good with this form. I recently discovered how insanely busted Scouring Sands is in Spiral. People generally don’t target Balance Wolf there, generally allowing you a chance to quickly cast this spell that can allow for some INSANE combos from your team. Some good coordination from my last team led me to securing 8 KOs in a single match.
Neat thing when fighting life dracon if they use a afterlife spell on themselves and say you use a afterlife life spell after their spell it will overwrite their spell. It was nice telling my teammates this recent hunt with fire dracon being free and punishing any life dracon unaware of this mechanic
this is so amazing thank you! i’ve only played once for the planter but maybe i’ll give it another shot. that being said, being someone who has made multiple over 1 hour wiz vids and not knowing the past tense of cast is just cast, NOT casted is driving me slightly nuts. great vid aside from that tho
yo nice meeting you! Oh, that’s a really cool idea. the only issue is i don’t really have much experience with regular pvp. but maybe i could do some research into it!
Excellent video! Saw it was uploaded but had to do my morning routine. Now going to sit back and relax, pop this video on the flat screen tv and eat some popcorn 🍿
I agree with both statements. Balance fairy could definitely use a minor buff. Perhaps make its 1 pip Swindler deal 100 damage instead of 75. Or maybe make it’s 1 pip revive heal for 75 instead of 50. Something like that could help! And, I was stuck between S and A for storm rat. I went with A because it lacks a 2 pip 250 hit, and it lacks a bonus pip compared to most other small forms.
You did great analysis. I'd say it would be good if you also mentioned how many copies you get of each spell. For example, death drac gets 3 copies of it's most useless spells, the heal trap and the dot, rather than the drain or the weakness @@Gladrocker
@@Gladrocker awesome, looking forward to it. I also appreciate the highly researched and well edited vids you’ve been doing. With that level of quality you could make one of the best or the best lore vid out there. Since the lore and world building for wizard is so vast, you could probably make it into a series with multiple videos, with vids delineating the lore into different sections such as exploring the mechanisms of the spiral, each worlds history and story, the overall and overarching story, and the philosophy that surrounds the spiral. Whatever you do i wish you the best of luck and keep up the great work.
Your kind words mean a lot. Making longform content like this isn’t easy - but reading messages like this boosts my motivation to continue making the best content I can. Thank you!!
Great list, which is surprising since I usually say "this is awful" to beastmoon tier lists. I haven't beastmooned in a while, but it's pretty close to my opinions when I last played.
Oh sweet! 🙌 I’m glad you agree with most of it. Making a list like this is always difficult because there’s so many elements to consider, so it’s nice to know that another veteran player like yourself has similar opinions. Glad you enjoyed 😄
I think the only real gripe I had was with the balance Cyclops analysis, in particular the locust swarm spell. While under normal circumstances, sacrificing that much damage for a stun with a 4 pip spell wouldn't be too good, if you have the bubble up, taking away a turn from your opponent can get pretty nasty. I was also thinking maybe Myth colo and balance krok should be in S, but the more I thought about it, I never really treated balance krok with the same threat level as other S-tiers, and I haven't ever actually played against myth colo so i cant speak from experience. @@Gladrocker
Good point about balance cyclops. I can agree that with the bubble, all of its higher pip cost spells (with the exception of phalanx) become extremely valuable. I think I judged stunning swarm too harshly. I was on the fence between S and A for balance krok. I feel like it could belong in either tier, but I was leaning towards A because it’s deck is very cluttered at tier 5, and it has a lot of poor-value spells. Also, after 200ing and placing the conditional 100 trap, you can’t follow up with a spider the following turn or else you’ll steal the trap. so it requires another pip before you can hit again. And I decided to place myth colossus in A tier instead of S solely because in a 3v3 and 4v4 you can’t summon your egg minion. So in 2v2s, it’s definitely S. But on average, you’re only casting your clockwork golem minion, so I’d keep it in A.
I loved this tier list. Some of my preferred forms got ranked low, but i knew that'd happen. I do have a question: Do you think it would be beneficial for some weaker forms if all forms got +100 hp? Battle would be longer with more time to pull off plays.
Thanks so much! And good question. I’d say +100hp may be too much, but even just a slight +25hp or +50hp could be enough to shake up the meta! for instance small ice forms wouldn’t die to 2 200s round 1 anymore. I’m all for minor balance changes! 🙌
Hi! I see ur responding often to commentaries. Can you leave here a tier for Life Rat? Or even a better idea, do a quick short on this review style for the new forms. (I hear a storm cyclops is coming)
Hey there! Yep, i respond to every comment, so if you ever have a question just comment like you’re doing now :) And unfortunately i don’t have the time to make a short at the moment, but i could tell you that i’d place life rat somewhere between A and B tier (closer to A.. like a B+). The ability to spam 2 pip 200s is very nice, and its 75 aoe afterlife is very overpowered! And just in general, 1 pip 125 heals are nice!! It still doesn’t compete with small forms that can drop 250 damage for 2 pips though (myth rat / storm elf)
i legit know nothing about how this works and if i ask how to play i get yelled at by the other players. therefor i rank beastmoon as a whole in f tier. right next to practice pet derby. yes practice specifically.
Overall, this is a great video. There were a few rankings I disagreed with, but for me, my biggest gripe is that you put Ice Wolf and Ice Colossus on opposite ends of the tier list despite the fact that they have a lot of similar strengths (0 pip 100 shields, strong shield conditionals, potential turn 3 aoe shield) and suffer from a lot of the same issues (lack of immediate damage, and being overly-reliant on shielding makes them very susceptible to counters)
Thank you! And great point! My reasoning for the stark contrast in ice colossus placement vs ice wolf placement is that ice wolf is severely lacking in offense, whereas ice colossus has the potential (more often than not) to deal 125 damage per pip with its serpents and phoenix. The fact that ice colossus’s conditions are self sufficient (you can shield yourself) vs ice wolf needing to rely on a myth teammate definitely gives ice colossus the upper hand. And ice colossus’s x pip shield is a game changer 😉 But I do agree with you that both are very susceptible to counters!
@@Gladrocker I feel like even without a minion, ice wolf can still do decent damage with his 4 pip hit. And he does also have a self sufficient conditional with his 0 pip hit that gives an extra pip if you have a shield (which the 4 pip hit can set up because it puts a shield on yourself) which, while not increasing its dpp directly, does allow the ice wolf to dish out 4 pip hits a lot faster, so it technically does improve his damage output.
Both great points! The 4 pip 225 hit + 125 shield is solid, and it’s self pip generation certainly helps it! Perhaps it could use a small bump up on the tier list
Video for your guide on farming seeds and idols….? I know you just have to plant the seeds but with double garden and hasty harvest TCs would you know an optimal way of farming these shiny beastmoon reagents?????? Thanks in advance 🍻
Good suggestion :) I find it best to hoard school specific seeds (ice, storm, fire, etc), then harvest as many as possible during double gardening. Avoid regular beastmoon seeds + elemental/spirit seeds during that period of time. Doing so allows you to optimize idol gain
nice vid homie ive watched it like 3 times cuz im addicted to beastmoon but one question why do you talk about the spells as if they were being used in a 1v1 scenario? In most cases i agree with your points but bm is meant to be a team game that excels in forms using other forms to boost each other’s spells,,, ice fairy would easily be a E tier looking at its spells on its own, but paired with myth drac its a definite B/C tier in my eyes
Thanks so much man, so glad to hear you enjoyed the vid 🙏 And great point - I wouldn’t necessarily say i’m covering forms in a 1v1 scenario, but let me try to explain myself.. There’s many cases where a weak form could excel in very specific scenarios which are important to acknowledge, but these scenarios are just too uncommon in practice. For instance ice fairy + myth drake is amazing, but simply doesn’t happen often enough (unless you’re coordinating with a friend. And even then, you’ll need to ensure you both make it into a fight together, AND survive without strong turn 1 options). I just feel that ice fairy’s uselessness 95% of the time without a minion partner outweighs it’s strength in that scenario… if that makes sense. I’m glad you brought this up!
Random question but what are the benefits of playing beastmoon? Also do I need a membership for it? Good video btw clearly a lot of effort put into it.
Thank you! You don’t need a membership for it, which is super nice. And you get tons of rewards like spellements and event points for the Scroll of Fortune (seasonal battle pass). It’s also just a lot of fun - it’s basically pvp with premade decks / without needing to farm for gear beforehand
Great question! I’d throw ice cyclops in S tier. 600 hp, 1 bonus pip, taunt, 2 pip 225 shark, op minion, op aoe shield, and absolutely broken aura! Storm mino’s in A tier. plays similarly to storm krok without the
I would honestly place Ice Cyclops in its very own SS tier above S tier. It is undoubtedly the single best form in the game. 600 hp, 1 starting pip, 4 pip 250 aoe shield, 1 pip 3 round 100 aura, taunt, insane 2 pip 225 conditional hit that’s easy to pull off. Disgustingly overpowered minion (look it up). The devs clearly didn’t do a good job designing this form. It has hardly any counters at all. The only decent counter being a form that traps and drains (like really just death fairy…) But even then, you’d need to be against smart players with a tiered death fairy for them to even have a shot at countering you. Completely busted.
@@Gladrocker Thanks for letting me know & your content! Only recently came back and realized how much has changed. Hunt feels a lot faster now, also RIP Myth Drake.
I think they should make needful things spells it gives to opponent 7 pip aoe heal and change those heal utilities into cursed cards on opponents And one of the spells a global like no other no leaving the battle field and even steal pips spells
So i'm getting told i'm "throwing" playing Life Elf. I really like the idea of healing my friends. As well as having a Rat Spin. Its my favorite card in the game. I really wish they would make some of these forms better? Listen to the community and people like yourself. I believe each school should have a function in beastmoon. Not just Storm Elf which is busted.
Couldn’t agree more. KI is notorious for keeping beastmoon unbalanced. There’s been more than enough opportunities for them to buff weak forms and nerf strong forms. As someone who’s been around the community since the beginning, and preached about balancing several times, i’ve lost almost all hope at this point. But I feel for ya! Life elf’s fun :)
At some point I’d love to add newer forms to this tier list. I think i’m going to wait a while though, once a bunch of new forms come out. Plus I’m working on another project at the moment (my wizard101 iceberg part 2), so that’s taking up a bunch of my time
Personal thoughts: I feel like Myth Wolf, Balance Wolf and Fire Pig all deserve A Tier just because they are reliable and even when not countering something directly can shine. I would rank Balance Rat in E, Life and Ice Mino in F, Ice Elf in D at most and Fire Elf in D. I’d rank Fire Colossus in C. If desired, I can go into detail on why.
Very good ideas. I can see myself agreeing with almost all of these. I suppose the biggest reason for keeping some forms like myth wolf and balance wolf lower is because they don’t have a good round 1 move, which is essential in fast-paced fights against for instance storm elf and myth rat. but they do have some amazing utility and can definitely be a threat in competitive play. I could drop balance rat to E. I’d maybe keep life mino in E instead of F just because it can revive dead teammates and dish out 225 hits. And true, fire elf could belong in D instead of C. No good aoe option definitely hurts it. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts! And if you think of anything else, definitely drop another comment!
@@KaosIsMyName Of course Shatterstrike isn't good enough to win on its own, but Ice Elf's strength lies in lulling enemies into thinking they have an easy kill, and then giving yourself (or whoever the target is) a 300 Shield. 700 Health with 1-pip stuns is really good, and if you need damage you can 0-pip or cheap shield into a cat.
Right! Fire Fairy came out after I uploaded the vid 😭 But so far it seems pretty powerful! I personally need a little more experience playing it before officially assigning it a tier, but it looks like a solid B tier right now!
You said that Death rat was the only form you don't recommend levelling up, I have one more contender for never levelling up past level 1: Myth ninja Pig if you look at your ratings 2:56:44 every single one of those red cards (except fortune reversal 3pip steal shield 150) are obtained by leveling up the form. All the Green cards are in the base form. Basically, Your deck becomes all green cards and one red card (and a single aoe copy), and more of the cards proportionally are 2 pip 200 spells.
Very great catch! I absolutely agree. Keep your myth pig at tier 1 to optimize your green card ratio. I’m glad you left this comment, because this is something that never crossed my mind (probably because I’ve already made the mistake of taking mine to tier 3 lol). If you think of more keep-at-tier-1-forms, let me know!
@@Gladrocker So many of the forms you really don't want the level 5 card, really do want the level 4 card, and would rather the hand size be 5 with the level 5 card to discard in the deck than only be level 4 with a 4 card hand.
@@Gladrocker Alright, I went through your video and used your card evaluation colors as a guide to look at which forms shouldn't be leveled up. so far I found one (1) other form that doesn't improve almost at all from leveling up. That form is.... Balance Krok 2:21:03. Your base deck is all of your green cards and 2 your only 2 red cards are your rank 4 and 5 spells you learn, you pick up 2 yellow spells at rank 2 and 3 so potentially you want to rank up to rank 3 to pick up sand trap (3 pip 225 damage) and grave Imbalance (2 pip 150 shield). However those spells are not central to the form's game plan. A strange one I found was Ice Colossus which really wants to be at least rank 2 to get their second 0 pip 100 shield, however at ranks 3 and 4 you get absolutely terrible damage spells 4 pip 200 and 6 pip 150 aoe. The only thing you lose out on (only) is your x pip 125/pip shield. So at rank 2 the form is much more locked into shield into Phoenix without the armor up backup plan. Quite a few forms only want to be rank 3: Myth Mino, Ice Elf, Ice Wolf, Balance Fairy? A single form likes being rank 2 exactly, though rank 3 to get a bad card and larger hand size is a consideration as well: Fire Minotaur. They get their second 2 pip 200 spell and all the other spells they get through ranking up are red cards or cost lots of pips and the form doesn't build pips well. Technically Life Krok also doesn't benefit much from ranking past level 1, but it's not a good form anyway and not ranking it up doesn't improve the form past it's weaknesses.
Love your analysis! Very interesting point about ice colossus. Agreed - if focusing purely on its phoenix strat, then tier 2 actually works very well. However you don’t have the failsafe option of x pip shielding at any given turn. And honestly that’s a very important part of ice colossus’s game plan, so i’d still recommend taking it to tier 5. Balance krok at tier 1 rocks! All you really need is that self pip + 1 pip 100 + 2 pip 200, so you’re right that it excels at tier 1. I agree with the others you briefly mention for keeping at tier 3 like myth mino, ice elf, ice wolf, balance fairy. And good point about keeping fire mino at tier 2 (although maybe the extra card in your hand at tier 3 would outweigh the bad card it gets at tier 3). Great stuff. Let me know if you think of any others!
Can't say I will retain any of this information, but I can say that for the time being, however short that may be, I am more knowledgeable in the ways of beastmoon
I did want to say… as someone that primarily plays life forms in hunt… this guide is not an accurate assessment of Life Forms… especially the Life Elf, Life Fairy, and the Life Drac. For one, I’ve actually forced a myth colossus to kill its own egg with beguile, the life fairy afterlife aoe is a life dot that deals 200 damage to myth forms, +25 school boost per tick, and the life Drac definitely can deal more damage than it gets credit for. The Life Krok also is a lot stronger once you start thinking about how it works with other forms too… it’s weak dot also gets a school boost against myth per tick. As far as elves are concerned, death elf is less than life elf and life elf is less than storm elf. Further more, I have very frequently lived much longer than most as the Life Fairy and Life Elf to do quite a bit of damage and have won many fights and many fights were won because of my contributions. The game does not give points if you’ve been dead more than 3 turns, but that doesn’t always mean that I was dead first turn or did not make a difference in a fight. A lot of good assessments in the video but thinking about anything involving life forms without taking into account how they work with other forms IS a mistake. The Life School is about team work and team synergy so you really can’t accurately say how good a life form is without first taking into account which forms are with a life form.
As of right now, the life krok detonate is glitched and I’ve been trying to find a way to tell KI. The Life Krok detonate with a blade is actually x2 + 50… this means a 300 dot currently detonates for 650 damage. Life Elf Aura is also bugged, giving 3 pips across 3 turns instead of 2 pips across 4 turns. With the wizard forums being shut down, I am having a bit of trouble telling KI about the bugs, but I did inform KI about a year ago concerning the Life Elf aura and it hasn’t been fixed.
As for the Life Fairy… A death fairy at T5 has a max of 3 big drains. A Life Fairy at T5 carries a max of 7 solid 200 hits. The Seraph Afterlife can be used against a Myth Colossus Egg to deal 200 damage to a myth Colossus because it’s 50 damage per tick against myth and kill the minion that summons the egg. The Life Fairy also has extremely powerful combinations with all the Storm Forms and a Myth Colossus Egg. Many of the condition for your S tier Storm Forms are dependent on the Life Fairy spells. The Life Fairy suffers the same fast death as both the Myth Rat and Storm Elf. Make no mistake, the Life Fairy simply doesn’t die any faster than any other strong small form. Besides, the Life Fairy can easily one shot both the Storm Elf and Myth Rat… and it’s easily equal to or stronger than a death fairy because it can one shot that form too… the mistake everyone makes against the Death Fairy is trying to do a 200 hit that it can heal itself with a drain… but if an ice elf drops a 125 trap, a 250 hit kills… for the Life Fairy, a blade or big trap, ideally a trap, can one shot the death fairy because it’s drain only helps it survive if it takes damage. I say ideally a trap because a death fairy can steal the blade. You also recommend discarding the zero pip spells and that is a huge mistake as a Life Fairy, those zero pip spells can be the difference between dying quickly and surviving depending on the situation. Storm also doesn’t have effective ways of dealing with ice shields… on the Celestia Map, Storm Forms suffer against ice mobs because they get damage blocked by a dozen shields… the life fairy imp can actually shatter up to 2 shields or 1 big shield… so a Life Fairy with a storm form is essentially what allows Storm to win against ice in Mayhem. I’ve almost never had to discard to pull the big hits as a Life Fairy at T5 and most people know that I don’t die that quickly either… so it’s more of how you use the life fairy that matters more. It is a form that can be used badly. It is not a form that is less than S tier. Of course, Death is the direct counter to life, but it is possible to beat death using life forms with good team work, hence going back to the assessments you made excluding how Life Forms work with other forms. You simply can’t assess a life form based on how it does alone because in beastmoon hunt, you are playing with a team and the teamwork is where life excels.
Just finished reading everything. Great points! Life certainly has its synergy with other forms in the game due to its heals + blades, and can overpower other forms like myth colossus, etc. I’ve actually grown really fond of playing life krok. Lots of great conditions + very fun overall. And it’s great you contacted KI about the bugs. Unfortunately I’ve given up hope regarding them fixing things… They don’t seem to prioritize beastmoon bug fixes sadly. It’s a shame. I can tell you’re very passionate about beastmoon. Love to see it!
There’s a lot of misinformation that unfortunately leads to the mistreatment of other players because of the school. And Life Krok is just another example of life spells not accurately displaying what different spells do. I would highly recommend doing another video. A lot of the information regarding life forms in this video does not accurately represent the strength of the forms.
Maybe a video that goes over how different forms work together instead of comparing them when they are alone. The only school that I know of that is intended to be solo is the death school. There are a lot of combos in beastmoon and the life school fills that critical niche to make certain combos possible.
@@Gladrocker Purely speculation but I believe it's because being able to use the drain on round one allows it to tank up to 475 damage in one turn. Similar to death fairy, which can hypothetically tank up to 550 damage in one turn. Paired with an ice, or even just a form that can taunt; it's pretty op & imo the best counter for life drac
Covered every form up until the latest releases (balance pig, storm mino, ice cyclops), since I wrote my script before those came out. But balance pig is great! I’d probably place it in A or B tier.
Legitimately stunning production value. You should submit this to KI as your doctoral thesis and ask for a professorship.
Love this comment! Just shared it on Twitter 😂😂 Thanks so much! 🙏
I don't know why I watched it. I never even played Wizard101. I don't know what Beastmoon is. But I still watched it with excitement.
That makes me so happy to hear 🥲 I really appreciate you watching and enjoying it! Thank you so much!
no chance 😂
I never really got into beastmoon when it first came out, but this honestly made me really wanna try it out again!
I’m happy to hear this video makes you want to play 😄 i definitely recommend giving it a shot, it can be super fun!

Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed :) And good idea! That could be a fun lil project
I have ZERO experience in wiz pvp, let alone beastmoon, and yet, this is my 4th time watching this entire video
ahahaha that’s awesome to hear! comments like these make my day 😂🙏
I wanna point out that re: Euryale's Wail and Stunning Swarm are both amazing spells. Not being able to stun chain isn't great, but the damage they bring means that you can use it as a one-stun combo with something else to kill.
And also, with Myth Drake, you can STILL stun chain with Euryale's Wail. >:D
Great point! Both spells could definitely be given a higher rating
As someone who has all the 48 current beastforms at high tiers spread across different wizards, this video was very interesting to watch.
Very impressive. Glad you found this video interesting 🙂 Any form rankings you disagree with?
Not really, you did a pretty good job ranking them. @@Gladrocker
Appreciate it!
hey, just wondering. how were you able to get enough moongold dust to craft all 48 forms? i'm trying to start my own collection but have immediately run into that roadblock. looks like you get 6 from meager's bm mayhem quest and 4 from the mayhem battlepass, which is only enough to unlock one form a month.

Planestalker: Contender for worst condition.
Egg Minion: Can easily be wiped with said card and deal with Myth Colossus’s strategy.
I used to play against you and nicole back in the day on alexandria storm forges team, ahhhh good ole days
Great video! Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but the Myth Fairy minion spells such as Ember Legends and Stoke The Ember can also be used if your ally puts one of their own minions in play. It's super helpful, especially when deck RNG prevents you from pulling your minion summons.
Thank you! and great point! It’s always nice when a teammate fulfills your minion condition for you. Not a bad idea to pair up with another myth form!
Always a good day when Gladrocker uploads, I’m boutta watch this whole video even tho I don’t do Beastmoon lol
Aye! Thanks so much 🙏 Now THAT’S dedication!
I was literally binge watching ur vids last night hoping for the next upload. This is gonna be a great watch!
No way! What a coincidence haha, hope you enjoy :)
so glad to see where balance fairy placed a day after i bought her :(
hope KI buffs her! :(

I love rewatching this video, there so many forms, the video is so well structured and it’s so long that it’s great background noise to whatever I’m doing
Hopefully in a couple of years you can remake this video, though that would be a huge project given the length of it already 😅
Amazing! Just watched the whole video. Thank you for all the effort put into it. I really wanted a base on what forms to start investing.
You might be the first person to have watched the whole vid! Awesome 🥳🎉 I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully this vid helped inform you on some good beastforms to pick up!
Hey all! Just want to say thank you all so much for the support ❤
First off, I apologize for the few times throughout the video where my "p" sound (for instance, when saying the word "pip") crackles. I'm hoping this doesn't interfere with the overall experience. I recently bought a pop filter to place over my microphone, so this won't be an issue in future videos.
Anyway, this video took months of effort to make (just like my Iceberg video), and I couldn't be happier with how it came out 🙌
Definitely leave a comment with all your thoughts regarding my form rankings + spell ratings. I'd love to read all your feedback!
Hope you all enjoy! 😁
Oh, and this time I'm beginning development on Iceberg pt 2 for real 😉
Gooooo iceberg xD
PLEASE, Can we get a part 2 for the new forms??
Would love an updated version of this! Lots of new and very annoying forms (life rat)
Right 😂 I think i’m going to wait a little longer until I make a part 2, just so there will be enough new forms to make it as massive of a video as this one :)
WOWI, a upload?!?! This video is really well put together, I’m not a fan of Wizard101 but this was really interesting and entertaining to watch 👍
Ayeeee you rock DJ! Really appreciate the kind words 🙌 Hope you’re doing well, too! 😄
I watched the whole 3 hours 54 minutes and 59 seconds.
You may not believe me, but I definitely did.
Oh I believe you! Thank you so much - it means a lot that you’d sit down and watch it all! 😁 I really hope you enjoyed! 🫶
This is a very well put together video. Love me some Beastmoon
Very much appreciated! Me too 🙌
Ya know, I was playing Beastmoon Hunt while watching this video-- imagine my horror when I saw a Life Elf in our lobby 😂😂😂
oh god 😂😂
Incredibly in depth and thorough. Thank you for this very useful information. Now, I'm off to cry over some badly spent lunari.
You’re very welcome :) I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. And hahaha, no worries, you’ll get all that lunari back quickly!
thanks to your advice, I won't waste any more. Looking at you death elf.
😂😂😂
i been using death drake with no idea how to use half the spells :X. This video is a life saver
hahaha I love death drake! Been using it all week :) Glad you enjoy the vid!
This video got me into Beastmoon. I’m now a proud Balance Wolf main.
Ayye! Awesome to hear. Good luck!
That’s amazing! Definitely recommend tiering up that form to tier 4 for another even better aoe spell!
Neat thing when fighting life dracon if they use a afterlife spell on themselves and say you use a afterlife life spell after their spell it will overwrite their spell. It was nice telling my teammates this recent hunt with fire dracon being free and punishing any life dracon unaware of this mechanic
Yes!! Very true - thanks for pointing that out! Wish I mentioned it in the video 😅
this is so amazing thank you! i’ve only played once for the planter but maybe i’ll give it another shot. that being said, being someone who has made multiple over 1 hour wiz vids and not knowing the past tense of cast is just cast, NOT casted is driving me slightly nuts. great vid aside from that tho
Oof, why am I just learning this now? 😂 Guess nobody corrected me up until this point. Thanks haha, and glad you enjoyed the video! :)
Stunning! I'd love too se a W101 Boss Tier List (lore-wise maybe) made by you!
Woah, now that’s a good idea! Can only imagine how long that video would be 😂 I’d have to keep each entry concise. I’ll definitely consider this!
glad your back!🎉
Yes, it's about time haha 🎉
Yo just saw you tonight but you dipped, I was gonna say you should do a class tier list for current pvp and pve
yo nice meeting you! Oh, that’s a really cool idea. the only issue is i don’t really have much experience with regular pvp. but maybe i could do some research into it!
Time to watch this video again xD Also, I see you have been swarmed in the Commons tonight :P
The commons loves me, what can i say 🤣 Hahaha. And so glad you enjoyed the video enough to watch it AGAIN 🙌 Appreciate it!
ty for doing this video! Doing the bm community a service
So glad you enjoyed! 😄🙌
Excellent video! Saw it was uploaded but had to do my morning routine. Now going to sit back and relax, pop this video on the flat screen tv and eat some popcorn 🍿
Thanks so much for the kind words! 🙌 Really appreciate it! So glad you’ve been enjoying my vids 🙂 Hope you enjoy this one too!
Also, saw you asked about the minion sacrifice triggering afterlife effects. Apparently it works with myth drake! Pretty neat
@@Gladrocker OH ok! Yeah I removed my comment about it because I thought it sounded rude lol but yeah I was curious about it that's awesome
Not rude at all. I insist, if you have any questions, ask away! Think of it as helping my “viewer engagement” 😂
Wow! I can't wait to watch everything. This is for sure going to be very interesting. I'll comment later again.
I knew you'd be excited 😉 I can't wait to read all your thoughts on my form rankings + spell ratings once you're finished watching! Looking forward!
@@GladrockerI agree with everything. My personal opinion was that Bal fairy needs a buff the most but that's just my thoughts.
@@Gladrocker I'd put Storm Rat in S tier, it's a little crazy but I guess its not as bad as a Storm Elf
You gotta make a vid about the entire wiz lore. There’s loads of content there and it’s rarely talked about.
that’s a great idea! could make for a really interesting video. Will look into it 🙂
@@Gladrocker awesome, looking forward to it. I also appreciate the highly researched and well edited vids you’ve been doing. With that level of quality you could make one of the best or the best lore vid out there.
Since the lore and world building for wizard
is so vast, you could probably make it into a series with multiple videos, with vids delineating the lore into different sections such as exploring the mechanisms of the spiral, each worlds history and story, the overall and overarching story, and the philosophy that surrounds the spiral.
Insane video bro huge W
🙏🙏
Stellar content, keep it up!
Thanks so much 😄🙌
i legit know nothing about how this works and if i ask how to play i get yelled at by the other players. therefor i rank beastmoon as a whole in f tier. right next to practice pet derby. yes practice specifically.
sorry to hear that, i wish the community wasn’t so toxic :(
if you ever need a team to teach you, my guild mates and i can teach you! we hang out in realm seraph whenever any of us are on doing beastmoon
I am new to beastmoon but I can say myth wolf is underrated. Not great to damage but it can deal with almost all negative conditions
Agreed - I love myth wolf! I upgraded mine to tier 5. So much fun to counter other forms with!
Yikes long video better watch it in .25 speed
You’re an absolute menace.
Yes sir
And ice colossus’s x pip shield is a game changer 😉
But I do agree with you that both are very susceptible to counters!
Nice video! Hoping for more content :)
Thanks so much :) So glad you enjoyed!

Tbh the Beastmoon Hunt is the only event I really care for.
me too!
Doing so allows you to optimize idol gain
great video just thinking about making this makes me tired

Aw thanks so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed 😄🙌
amazing youtuber
Thank you bro 🙏 appreciate you
nice vid homie ive watched it like 3 times
cuz im addicted to beastmoon but one question why do you talk about the spells as if they were being used in a 1v1 scenario?
It’s also just a lot of fun - it’s basically pvp with premade decks / without needing to farm for gear beforehand
thoughts on ice cyclops? storm minotaur and balance ninja pig are new too :-) and more coming!
Great question! I’d throw ice cyclops in S tier. 600 hp, 1 bonus pip, taunt, 2 pip 225 shark, op minion, op aoe shield, and absolutely broken aura!
Storm mino’s in A tier. plays similarly to storm krok without the

@@Gladrocker yay

smart lol
What's your rating on Ice Cyclops?
that taunt + aura feels absolutely insane when combined with a hitter.
You’re welcome! If you ever have another question let me know 🙂 And right!
I think they should make needful things spells it gives to opponent 7 pip aoe heal and change those heal utilities into cursed cards on opponents
And one of the spells a global like no other no leaving the battle field and even steal pips spells
ooh that would be way cooler. love the idea! 🙌
Hi will you be able to add the newer forms to the tier list?
At some point I’d love to add newer forms to this tier list. I think i’m going to wait a while though, once a bunch of new forms come out. Plus I’m working on another project at the moment (my wizard101 iceberg part 2), so that’s taking up a bunch of my time

so in beast moon drain is full damage rather than half?
correct!
Personal thoughts:
I feel like Myth Wolf, Balance Wolf and Fire Pig all deserve A Tier just because they are reliable and even when not countering something directly can shine.
How is Ice Elf D-tier?
@@torpzun I don’t constitute 1 amazing spell as worth putting it with forms that can actually play/win on their own
@@KaosIsMyName Of course Shatterstrike isn't good enough to win on its own, but Ice Elf's strength lies in lulling enemies into thinking they have an easy kill, and then giving yourself (or whoever the target is) a 300 Shield. 700 Health with 1-pip stuns is really good, and if you need damage you can 0-pip or cheap shield into a cat.
@@torpzun But how often does that really happen?
I didnt see fire faity on here, what are your thoughts on the new form?
fairy*
😂😂Well then I did my job! Hahaha, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
@@Gladrocker keep it up man, looking forward to the second iceberg vid!
@FloatinPineapple Thank you man 🙌 I really appreciate it!
Why is myth krockomummy not in here? Probably the best beast
Myth krok came out in the summer 2023 update - after i wrote the script 😉 it is a very solid form though! probably somewhere around A/B tier
death elf is my favorite form
it’s not bad! wish it had one more pip though, like most other small forms. not sure why they designed it like that.
@Jonathan-sv2kf great point! agreed!
@@Gladrocker I believe its because of the 2 pip 250, while being able to drain as well AND the 3 pip aoe, would simply be way too op
Right! A round 1 3-pip 150 damage aoe hit would be too overpowered!
What about Storm Minotaur…?
came out after i made the vid
@@Gladrocker dang :(
poor life elf. I hope they buff rework him lol
me too!
Balance pig?
Covered every form up until the latest releases (balance pig, storm mino, ice cyclops), since I wrote my script before those came out. But balance pig is great! I’d probably place it in A or B tier.
2:22 This is an atrocity. Really? Someone put strawberry in F tier. That's heinous. 😡
