So much wisdom here girly!! I loveeee it! Really solid analogy too. Adding a thought as well I’ve had to learn... sometimes the walls and foundations I’m building aren’t even helpful or for my good. Certainly we need to be grounded in God. But sometimes I lay foundations for walls that are purely defensive. Maybe I’ve been burned or I’m hurting and I build up these walls and get upset when God knocks them down. Usually in these cases, I’d rather have my own walk that I built on my own strength than God Himself. My wall keeps Him out, and when that happens, He needs to knock them down. I need Him more than anything else. He has to be our foundation, so I think sometimes He also lets those “waves” come because we are keeping Him out of an area where He wants to help.

Absolutely! That's such a great thought and super accurate! Thanks for sharing that!
