Hello, I viewed your dart section which is great. But to your point on the error if you try and have the dart outside, how should I create a dart just like a triangle on the edge? Ie not a diamond inside the bodice.
With the Magic Mouse, the right-click doesn’t work to open the settings window for the polygon tool. It only works with a mouse that has three buttons.
HI. Mac navigation is different. You can find more information about that on our website support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000825988-Mac-Navigation
On Mac the latest version doesn't allow you to use the Delete key to go back one step. Looks like this has been a persistent issue for a while since I looked up their FAQs and someone complained about this exact thing 3 years ago.
When I make internal lines I cannot edit them again using the edit tool, once I've made an internal line it doesn't even have the ball at the end to select it or edit it, it's just a line.
I was using the baseline feature to draw internal lines not the internal lines feature. They're right next to each other, I'll leave it up so that others can use it as a solution maybe
When I cut the pattern with an internal line I don't see a line left behind after right clicking and selecting cut and sew. Did I do something wrong or has this changed with an update?
Hi, I have a question- At 20:19- when I release the dart, the cut is not happening, it just draw the dart line which I couldn't click what could be the reason? kindly help
Hi Dinesh. Sounds like you may have used the Base Dart Tool and not the regular Dart tool. Base Tools just draw a purple marking and do not actually create darts. The two tools on the tool bar do look similar. The Regular Tools for Making Internal Lines/Darts on the tool bar is drawn with a solid line and will show as Red in the 2D/3D windows. The Base Tools button is a dashed line and will show as purple in the 2D/3D window. Hope this helps!
Yes. But if the size varies greatly make sure to "sew" them together first and then use the Edit Sewing tool > Right click > select merge from drop down menu. This will have the pieces merge into one where the sewing exists
how do you close off shapes when using the polygon tool, the points just keep going. also for Mac users how do you bring up the menu for the distance in between points?
Hello! Thank you very much for the tutorial! I have an issue, avatar in a 2d window is not centered. I mean, that it is slightly to the left of the cross. Tell me please how can i fix it?
We can say that, but interlines are not limited to being style lines. For the purpose of 3D they can be part of or become dozens of other types of things. I have listed out a few of them. -Can become a topstitch location -Can be a marking to attach a pocket or other part -Can be a fold location for a pleat, cuff, etc, -Can become a hole, or a dart -Can can become a seam line -Can mark locations for buttons or other hardware placement -can become an elastic area if elastic is applied -Used heavily in patternmaking process generally. -Can be a graphic position or measuring location -"Cut" function will turn them into a scissor type function. This is a short list but there are lots more depending on the creative setting
