This whole Part 1 Foundations module has been amazing, so well explained, and a really nice progression through the functions. Great for taking notes as well. Thank you!
Hi, I have a laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (4 GB GDDR5) graphics card and I am using Clo 6.0, but the gpu simulation option is still not supported in my device. Why is that ?

I only have two options for the simulation - Normal and fitting (accurate fabric) which Isn't in the drop down on this video. Is this due to the graphics issue you mention in video that some of the options won't be there if your computer doesn't have the necessary graphics card? I'm just wondering about the fitting (accurate fabric option too then). Also I have the hi-res garment icon but I'm missing the low-res option. Would there be any reason for that?
Yes, if you are missing GPU simulation it is because you do not have a dedicated graphics card. The low resolution button is grouped into the high resolution button in 5.2. Hold the tool down and the other options will appear as a drop down menu.
Hello! Thank you for amazing video. Tell me please, I have a version 7.0.480 and I can't find 4 types of simulation, I have there only normal and fitting. Where I can find the rest? Thank you!
Hi! On my simulate button I have only two options: Normal and Fitting, why does on the video shows 4 options? Also on the Hi-res properties > Simulation quality I have two options: Normal and Fitting, but on the tutorial shows Normal and Complete, why's that difference? Amazing tutorials, thanks so much :)
This is because as of 5.2 the Simulation names were changed - below is a link to page that explains all these differences. If you do not have Fast(GPU) it is because your computer may not meet the minimum spec requirements to run this. GPU requires a dedicated GPU graphics card. support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000304968-Simulation System requirements can be found at the bottom of this page: www.clo3d.com/pricing
@@CLO3D Thanks for the answer :) I'm using a laptop with a AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4GB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB graphic card. Is it posible that I don't see the other two simulation options because I'm using a MacBook Pro (2020) ? Thanks ✌🏼
Hi there! I have trial Clo 5.2 and my property editor doesn't show any info. I tried to follow this lesson, but when I click on a detail, editor is blank. What can be the problem?
does clo support radeon on just nvida because I have a good graphics card that can run black ops cold war but not simulate gpu in clo :( so i'm just wondering if they'll ever update that? :)
To set the garment back to the position prior to simulating, you can simply undo [CTRL-CMD-Z]. To reset the patterns to their Arranged position you can use the Reset 3D Arrangement [All] tool or Right-Click on the Pattern Piece and Select Reset 3D Arrangement [Selected}

Thanks for your great tutorial, I have a question, could you please tell me how to set up the notch?
You can add a notch anywhere you want by using the Notch Tool. Or by using the Walk Pattern Tool. ua-cam.com/video/5Lsxpa2Rkl4/v-deo.html
After stimulate, why my garment didn't move while im using X-ray joints to change avatar posing ? Thank you!
To move the garment while using the XRay joints, leave simulate running as you edit the joints.

If you are on a Mac you will only have 2. On a PC there is 3.
Hello. I am using a newer version. Is "Complete" the same as "Fitting (Accurate Fabric)?"
Yes it is.

@@CLO3D no problem, still a great software! Let's hope for a 5.3 compatible version for Mac users. Thanks a lot :)
