- One day, a couple of wild rainbow lorikeets show up on this lady's balcony in Manly, Australia. Now they visit every day, even bringing their babies along, and bickering like an old married couple 💛💚💙

What a awesome way “having” birds, they come as they want, leave when they wants, perfect 👌🏻
My beloved Bidgie make the same when arrive doves to my balcony!
Yes! Birdies come and leave as they want especially after poking some kitties.
Poop where they want whenever they want
yes... no captivity... I love it
they poop outside. destroy trees, not furniture or cables.
I love how native Australian animal species are either A) The mostly adorable, cuddly examples of their respective species or B) The most toxicly lethal example of their respective species
Ain't it the troof!
Lol that’s a pretty good summary
That is the best one-line summary of Australian fauna I've ever seen haha
Or both 😬

Suzy is very lucky to have these little sweethearts come a visit her every day. To have them trust her as well and bring their babies is so beautiful.
Undoubtedly she is so lucky and kind lady ❤️❤️❤️
@DAILY FAMILY GUY VIDEOS good to know 🤗
Where is this place? Rio?
@@shervinissakhani8639 Sydney Australia.
Both parties are happy for each other.
That is what counts.
I love when Robert and Roberta are chasing off the other birds like: “Beat it birds, this is our racket! This is our human and we saw her first!” LOL!!!
Birbs*
hahaha... exactly... it's the other way around... these humans are our pets not yours . ..😂😂
for the wild birds, they know, when they find a friendly human, then they get water and food for free! It is saving energy for them, no more desperatly looking for food, easy going for this bird couple
🤣🤣🤣 too cute
Yep my lorrikeet best friends beat up other birds too!
Their little charge at the cockatoo is too freaking cute
Yes, considering the Cockatoo is so much bigger than the Lorikeet. They certainly are very brave!
@@kyliepechler right? It's adorable how they consider her patio their home
Ikr!!!
Right he's like "WATCH OUT IM FIERCE!!!"
i'm a lorikeet owner and if one of mine charged like that i would run for my life. lorikeets are mean and they bite to HURT lol
she is so lucky to have these little wild animals accept her, wildlife is so fantastic x
You are absolutely right ❤️🤗
Your so lucky these beautiful birds really loves you 😊 they are so cute like they totally knew you
Yes, wonderful moments ** Yes, wonderful moments
They claimed her. She’s part bird and doesn’t know it.
She accepts the wild life
Those birds are gorgeous! They completely trust you and wanted to introduce you to their babies. Very sweet.
Expect the babies to come when grown. Wonder how that's going to turn out.
i am truly envious of Australians and their interactions with the avian wildlife. Here in Las Vegas I have managed to attract quite a number of birds to my backyard. At the moment, there is a hummingbird nesting in one of the palms, so that is really special.
Maybe if you are able to keep a hummingbird feeder filled you might see the bright yellow/orange orioles. Females are lighter color & they come to the feeder first then the males will come if it’s safe.
I hope you get to see them, they’re amazing.
I know 🇦🇺 is bird paradise with the colorful variety
@Angel Princess There are also some beautiful birds in America. I should imagine that the birds will be happy if you put out a bowl of clean water in your backyard plus the hummingbird feeder that the gentleman mentions. Birds can be such charming creatures, be they large or small.
Yeah we have it quite good with our birds I sometimes see kookaburras lorikeets galahs in the backyard
You should check out biologist Tim Low’s book ‘Where Song Began’ about Australian birds. Australia has weird birds.
The Lorikeets are adorable but did you see they also had a porch full of cockatoos!?! How cool would all of that be? If only Australia didn't have spiders the size of a small dogs.
Yes I think if the spiders weren’t such a problem there, more people would want to go to Australia
@@Rico401Prov And everything is poisonous and wants to eat your face...
And the snakes....can't forget the snakes. Lol.
And the mice...
It's really not that bad here, you should come n visit.
As long as your respectful, your more than welcome.
Robert and Roberta are two amazing feathered-friends! And Suzy is amazingly lucky that Robert and Roberta invited themselves into her life. We're all envious.
This is how you interact with wild animals properly.
Lived in Australia for 1 year over 25 years ago and still miss it. The wildlife, the laidback kind attitude and gorgeous landscapes. My #1 choice if I could choose a place to live.
What an honor to have those breathtaking , sweet and intelligent little creatures coming by for visits and bringing their babies no less! 😍😍
That's so cute, I bet the people that lived there before her used to feed and play with the birds. 😊😊
I think you're right.
That was my thought exactly. That's why they were so comfortable so quickly.
@Beaver C: Yes, I think so too. They showed up the 1st day this lady moved into that house, and seemed quite familiar with the house itself, so it seems the previous owners/tenants probably used to feed them.
That was my thought. Maybe someone who owned them lived there before and had passed away or went to jail or something, but whatever happened the apartment was vacated and the birds left behind. Let's hope someone did not abandon them, but if that were the case, It seems they are making Ok with life. They just come back to the big nest for a while every day 😁
@@darksparklez-IcU812 they are wild birds. These kinds of birds come calling a lot - you are not allowed to own them as pets - so no, they haven't been 'left behind'. They are wild and they have chosen to accept another human.
What a dream, something about that woman spoke to them, what a blessing
Hello TorQueSS J. How are you doing?
I've never heard of this species, they are beautiful. Suzy is a blessed woman.
These are rainbow or coconut lorikeets :)
Is Suzy gaining an accent or losing one ? 🤷🏻♂️
@@michaelcobaugh7287 she had a normal Australian accent?
@@michaelcobaugh7287 What are you talking about?
These are Rainbow Lorikeets, and they are common around most coastal Australian cities and suburbs.
I wish stuff like this happened to me! This would be such a happy blessing😎💜😎
Today while sleeping
Things like that don’t just happen. Leave seeds outside and birds will visit. Put out meat and foxes will be your visitors.
How beautiful those birds are and how sweet of her to build a relationship with them! Hysterical that they chase off the other birds…three times their size…😂🤣…and they brought their babies there too…so precious! 🥰
Thats what i call a colourful life😄👌
I worked at a zoo that has lories and lorikeets. They're so incredibly sweet and smart. They definitely have their little personalities! We had one that hatched during quarantine and was hand raised by a keeper and she just loves people so much that she would let us hold her like a baby. Watching this video really makes me miss my birbs. Those lorikeets are huge, too. Ours look more like doves lol. The lories are the chunky ones.
ADORABLE!!!
I love the fact that she pretty much has pet parrots while also leaving them to be free in their natural habitat. They are amazingly intelligent. The fact they come to her house at will and bring their babies to see her just shows you how smart they truly are! They genuinely love this woman and want to impress her!
They had an exhibit of these lovely birds at the Palm Springs zoo. It was one of the last times my mother was well enough to move and be active. We loved their “spicy” personalities.
OMG those are the cutest things!! Soooo jealous of their human 😁
It's that moment when you realize your neighbors have gone to the birds. They come over uninvited but they are always welcomed. They are the cutest neighbors ever. They even brought their kids. 😂❤️ This would make a great movie.
The part where both of them were bobbing their heads together was so adorable!
That's the most beautiful kind of bird I've ever seen look at that flaming red color on their necks! Awesome!
Amazing that you have wild lorikeets and cockatoos flying in through your window. That must be wonderful.
Nice to see these beauties living free...not in a cage !! & their choice to visit you.....♡☆♡ gorgeous pair...♡☆♡
❤
omg so frigging cute..i would love to have them visit me
They are Sooooo lucky in Australia to have access to those birds in the wild! They're SO so cute & sweet! I would most certainly let them into my place & feed them if they showed up like that! What a blessing!
Every time these kinds of videos start, I think, dammit Australia, do you know how lucky you are to have this kind of wildlife? 😂 I have a friend who teases me by sending me photos of the incredible foliage, wild peacocks, etc that just hang around his parent’s house near Melbourne. Just to contrast with the boring greenery and little brown birds outside my house.
Omg, such beautiful birds! Their colors are so different!
All I ever see flying at my windows, are flies. This was an amazing story
I love when wild/stray animals chose you, it's such an honour and show of trust.
Lori's are so colorful literally and figuratively! It's best to let them be Wild because their very wet poops are extremely hard to clean up,lol. Sweet story, hope they will always stop by for a howdy do.
@@whatsup5791 Lol, me too!
It's good they visit and say hello and go away to do all the dirty business 😜

What a gift. I need to move to Aussie just to have these wonderful feathered creatures as neighbors. All I have are pigeons. No offense pigeons love u guys too😏
There are wild parrots in some states. Florida I think. Most definitely Hawaii.
Stupid pigeons always shitting on my car
In Arizona I have roadrunner , ravens, quail, and owl friends ( just to name a few), that always need my help. The other birds are just as worthy of our respect- pigeons are amazing!
That would the absolute heaven if we had parrots around here.
No idea where you are but there are parrots in most places.
Well they’re very beautiful, but rainbow lorikeets are also super loud & messy! We have huge flocks that nest in trees near the main beach at night & you should hear them squawk, chatter & bicker every night before bed. Like the Brady Bunch on steroids 😳 I also have an avocado tree in my back garden that they visit in the afternoons during certain seasons. If I didn’t have a white noise app to block out their chatter I’d never get an afternoon snooze
@@KenS1267 no parrots here in New Hampshire.
@@liggerstuxin1 They're in Boston and Rhode Island. They'll get to NH eventually.
@@KenS1267 I had parrots growing up. I absolutely adore them. I think it would be awesome if they lived around here. To me they seem much more intelligent than the chickadees and woodpecker‘s and blue birds that are around here. Of course we get big raptor birds but obviously those don’t really come down to the feeder.
I love the color of their feathers! It's so pretty!
Their feathers are so beautiful. Whenever they fell off at work I would keep them.
Isn't it a privilege when a wild creature makes you a part of their lives, its so awesome and bless you for sharing
When I lived in Melbourne I went visiting many places. During one of these journeys I was litterally surrunded by dozens of them. I felt like Heaven! I wish I could go again to live many others amazing experiences. Love Australia!
Yes, wonderful moments
This is soooo Sweet, I would Absolutely Love these birds in my life...
"Officer, I swear, we didn't take them from the wild as pets, they're actually squatting!"
How lovely :) as a bird nerb myself with three special needs budgies, it's always refreshing to see people treat birds with the respect and playfulness they deserve. They may look (be) feathered dinosaurs, but they're incredibly smart. They're also very territorial, so not surprising the lorries went bonkers when cockatoos started appearing in an area they like and feed. One of my budgies, Iris, is great at mimicry and since the day we got her by flying into our house, she's been miming the calling vocalisations of sparrows and blackbirds. After a year she still goes ballistic every single day when they appear on the balcony because *she* called them.
These videos just get more and more adorable! Seeing two 'married' birds coming in as if they own the place, and then bringing their 'children' is priceless❤❤👍👍
I love all creatures, flora and fauna but my favorite are the birds! I’ve grown up with having birds be apart of our family and I would be in Heaven in your situation! Thanks so much for sharing the love. They’re such funny characters, I love them.
0:43 That is just TOO PRECIOUS!!! 😊
Lorikeets are hilarious. When I was living at my mum's place in 2016 I was adopted by a bonded pair of lorikeets who would come into my bedroom at sunrise and chew on my ear to wake me up. I used to keep a saucer of lorikeet food beside my bed but they seemed to enjoy waking me up anyway.
Then they had two babies which is relatively uncommon for rainbow lorikeets - and they were really young and were struggling to care for them so they'd leave these two squawking babies sitting in my bedroom while they'd go and forage. Got some cool videos.
They are remarkably inquisitive, affectionate and intelligent little parrots - and once they get to know you they never forget. They can recognise different humans - even on the street and once they know you they give you your own contact call which is like their name for you.
Anytime I heard them calling me I'd drop whatever I was doing and come running.
Even though I no longer live there they still visit and befriended my brother. One of the babies from 2016 had a black mole/beauty spot on his beak and he's returned as an adult.
Where I live now I have a new local flock of lorikeets but they don't come inside because I have my own parrots and lorikeets can carry Beak and Feather Disease which is (sadly)endemic in many lorikeet flocks.
I love when animals are like, “this is my person.” And you just go along with it. You were adopted by two lorikeets😭
Роберт и Роберта смотрятся так прекрасно. Это хороший пример для многих людей, как нужно относиться друг к другу. ☝️Какая милота. 🤗❤️
How amazing is it to have such beautiful friendly birds come around...
Beautiful birds!!!!
You are very lucky to have the privilege to be so close to them and get to enjoy their comoany.
I live in South Carolina. The Columbia Zoo has an enclosure with dozens of Lorikeets that you are allowed to enter. You can even buy small cups of nectar and they will sit on your hand and drink. They also like to land on your head and shoulders. It is fun, until one poops on you. I say this from experience. Every time we go to the zoo, that is the first place we go. One other thing is their calls are very loud when you have that many together.
Wow! Lucky her 🥰 they are beautiful birds 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Where are all these beautiful birds coming from lol?
I want to move there so they could visit me 😂❤️
Birds are SOOO very sweet!
It’s so great to see these beautiful birds free and living out in their natural habitat! Australia has so many beautiful bird breeds. And for me, living in the U.S., I have only ever seen Lories and cockatoos in captivity and sold as pets. Now, even being a pet, they can still have wonderful lives. But it’s still so much better to see them totally free like this. (I didn’t see if she fed them or not… these only drink nectar don’t they??)
they dont only drink nectar, but it does make up most of their diet. they'll also eat fruit, flowers and insects. however, as for all wild animals, it is advised not to feed them. it risks them getting dependent on humans and stop finding food on their own, and it may cause nutritional deficiencies. plus, large numbers of birds coming to a feeder together can spread diseases between the birds.
I think it's wonderful to see such beautiful parrots out in their natural habitat not to be caged up and to enjoy them is so nice they are incredibly beautiful their colors and to share their babies is just adorable
That is the coolest!!! They are so neat! Really heartwarming!
I love birds and watching this just filled my heart with cuteness. She’s so lucky 🥰

What an adorable couple! This is the third video I've seen of wild Australian birds being friendly with humans and entering their homes. It's fascinating to me, I've never seen birds do that in the USA. I would love to have wild bird friends 😊 Perhaps it's a trait of parrots.
Once a birb loves you, you can never go back!!
WARNING: Everyone is beautiful in this video.
Creepy much?
With patience and trust wild animals always let us into their world. Too bad we don't let them into ours without so often abusing that trust and harming them. Who is it that needs to learn from whom in that case? This woman never abuses that trust, but deeply respects it.
.
Absolutely. She,s an example for us all. Beautiful interactions. With those gorgeous wild birds. We are learning more and more with all these vids how ,,humanlike,, ALL animals are, wild and domestic. Thanks Dodo.
Wow! You are so lucky to have such beautiful birds right outside your window like that! 😍 Their colors are so striking! 🦜
Absolutely gorgeous birds, and in the wild......where they should be. Australia should ban the sale and transporting of any of their gorgeous birds overseas. This is their true life. The colours are so incredibly vibrant on them. I'd love to keep up with this famiy but I am not interested in any other social media site but youtube. Oh well...c'est la vie.
