Fortnites UI Update | What happened?

- Today with the launch of the fortnitemares update Epic pushed a UI update for fortnite. This new UI in my opinion is absolutely not with the theme of what Fortnite is and is only furthering pushing creative at people.
It looks like a TV guide for the game modes and is extremely cluttered/messy. Other games have done this in the past too like CoD and it just does not work for a PC/Console game.
What are your thoughts on this new UI?

With the amazing Fortnitemares launch today we also got a brand new UI in Fortnite. I personally feel this was a miss and is trying to be too basic/clean of a setup while completely missing the style Fortnite used to have. It also pushes creative way too hard over Epics own stuff, while creative itself still having an extremely unfriendly & cluttered gamemode select. I do feel like this will be improved on as time goes on tho.
What are your thoughts on the new UI? Also how are you enjoying Fortnitemares so far? Lots of good stuff coming up that I cant wait to play with everyone!

I hate all the games doing this ui style. Fortnite chapter one was so good stylistically. So was modern warfare 2019. These new ones look so cluttered

The new UI is made of stock canvases and stock tweened animations. It looks like absolute trash and they’ve actually completely killed Fortnite’s personality with this one.
Yes also they added ratings to game modes which will ruin a lot of people’s skin combos it’s easily the most stupid update they’ve ever put out.

They need to do what the original CoDs and Halos did. A vertical set of boxes with game modes. You open the tab for modes and it goes

It would be way cleaner and easy to use. I’ve spent minutes at a time looking for certain game modes and it really needs to be made easier

Small UI update but forsure changes how the game is suppose to originially look, and I agree it seems they are pushing and pushing for people to play creative more. I myself dont like creative or want to deal with it all that much lol so me seeing all this makes me think they tryna push it more and more until you basically gotta play them lol. The creative challenges for xp is a smart idea for people to try it but dont do this lol. Great video as always Nick keep it up homie!

Im consfused i felt the last ui was horrible it was ao clunky and hard to find what you wanted it never worked properly in the first place so then making it simple and able to atchually just see everything is better 😅 your tripping
fr, the 1st thing I thought after using the ne ui was damn🤩, Im sure ps5 players also enjoy it because it blends in with the ps5 ui really well

Seriously I feel as if (for some reason) that Fortnite is trying to be Roblox. But why though? Don't they already have much more money than Roblox, more players, more kids? I don't understand.
Roblox has more players and more money 😂 fortnite battle royale mode averages 300k while just one game on roblox hits 1 million a day. Theres actually games on roblox that shutdown the platform for having 2 million players playing one game at once.
I ain't complaining, the creators, players and epic wins, everyone wins, also the fortnite's default graphics and physics are better than what roblox has

@@maevwat The graphics may be better (depends on the game {for both games}) in Fortnite, but I disagree with the physics. In the sense that Fortnite is trying to be other than a battling gun game. It struggles to capture smooth gameplay in games that are supposed to have story for example. In roblox there is way more you can do especially when it comes to moving objects and design.
