I’ve been convinced that they’re the closet favorites to take the NFC South in 2023. Panthers still interest me from a longevity standpoint, depending on what their all-star staff can do with the qb they select. The Falcons are smart in using this opportunity to create a juggernaut, do-it-all team that has already matched up well with their division rivals even before addressing their weaknesses. I just don’t think Carr is going to be a world-beater that pushes an aging Saints team over the hump, and the Bucs are clearly putting their foot off the gas.
@@beannhead plus who does Carr have to work with? Maybe Michael Thomas? Never count them out. The saints are always a tough game but I just dont see enough talent on paper to think they have a chance at a good record this season. Atlanta on the other hand is already good enough on paper. It just comes down to how Desmond Ridder can lead the team on offense, and if our defense can't prevent more points than our offense can score. But Desmond looks very solid for a rookie in his first 4 games. Go watch any(real) analysis video of his 4 games, and he shows a low of promise. Not sure why everyone is counting him out. I remember listening to Falcons games in the 97 season before their first SB run the next year, and I got kind of the same feel from last years team. Strong run game, good defense, and solid passing game as a complement. So a division title and potential playoff run not out of reach. All Ridder needs to do (if the rushing game is as good this year as last) is 3500-4000 yards and don't turn it over; he doesn't need to be the 2nd coming of Brady.

Nice video but edit out that Lamar Jackson crap. Here’s the playoff record for Lamar- “Jackson has a 1-3 career playoff record with four total touchdowns and seven turnovers. His passer rating in the playoffs (68.3) is 28.4 points lower than his regular season average, the fifth-largest dropoff in NFL history” Lamar Jackson has won once in the playoffs in his career but constantly demands more and more money. MVP awards are worthless if you can’t win the second season. He’s an individual winner but a team loser.
Didn't want Lj he stays injured can't win in the playoffs and he can't stay healthy and if we would of paid him all that money we wouldn't have all the stardom on our offensive line that we have today
@@Theballsdeep CP is 32 and tends to wear down and miss games as the season goes on, and Huntley is coming off a torn Achilles so there’s no guarantee there. If Tyler goes down we’re in trouble. Bijan adds more explosiveness and a perfect 1-2 punch for our run-heavy offense for 3 years minimum. He would also take eyes off of Pitts and London for when Smith calls his PA strikes. He can be moved all over the field and turn any touch into a house call. CP would be fresh all year and into the postseason with the younger fresh knees doing most of the heavy lifting. He’s also a top 5 talent in the draft, positional value be damned. Bijan makes a ton of sense!
@@peepgoated-_8681 I definitely get that, and any other RB I’d say hell no, but Bijan’s talent with this run blocking OL is as close to a slam dunk as it gets. idk about their draft selection. they literally drafted no one the year of kyle pitts and a monkey could choose him. that years draft pick was complete garbage and they had a ton of holes. not to mention the failed utilization of kyle pitts. from 1k yards to 356, yes he played less games but those stats are still ass for the games played and its not like london was significantly taking away those yards either.
We call that the Marcus Mariota effect. You know what you have with Kyle Pitts with an actual QB. Don't let the down year stats trick your eyes on what you see on film. Pitts running wide open down field and the ball was poorly thrown.
The problem with the Falcons was Matt Ryan. An overpaid “leader” who had zero killer instinct. Also, they never play a winning brand of football. When have you ever seen them play with supreme confidence? Going for it on 4th and short? Fake punts? Trick plays? They play the most scared and vanilla brand of football I’ve ever seen.

I'm going to say playoffs ! Might win 1 playoff game ! But 2024 ! Super bowl ! 28- 3 they will be up and win this won 42 - 17 ! Rise up ! Filthy birds !
Drafting Offense and using cap space to sign mostly proven Defensive players.
Dirty Birdzzzz It’s Dangerous
Are they
Had to subscribe. Youknow what you're talking about
thank u it means a lot
Nice video but edit out that Lamar Jackson crap. Here’s the playoff record for Lamar-
“Jackson has a 1-3 career playoff record with four total touchdowns and seven turnovers. His passer rating in the playoffs (68.3) is 28.4 points lower than his regular season average, the fifth-largest dropoff in NFL history”
Lamar Jackson has won once in the playoffs in his career but constantly demands more and more money. MVP awards are worthless if you can’t win the second season. He’s an individual winner but a team loser.
Nolan Smith #8
BIJAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't want Lj he stays injured can't win in the playoffs and he can't stay healthy and if we would of paid him all that money we wouldn't have all the stardom on our offensive line that we have today
getting bijang at 8 bro bet. all the moves they made has lead to this move
u don't think allgeier and CP are enough?
another rb? i want a wr or someone on defense
Still bro a rb a 8 is insane
@@peepgoated-_8681 I definitely get that, and any other RB I’d say hell no, but Bijan’s talent with this run blocking OL is as close to a slam dunk as it gets. Niners run game looked good with Mostert, Wilson, and Mitchell, but CMC was a different level for them. I imagine Bijan would give us a similar boost at a much lower cost financially.
idk about their draft selection. they literally drafted no one the year of kyle pitts and a monkey could choose him. that years draft pick was complete garbage and they had a ton of holes. not to mention the failed utilization of kyle pitts. from 1k yards to 356, yes he played less games but those stats are still ass for the games played and its not like london was significantly taking away those yards either.
It's wasn't Matty ice fault we didn't have a defense or a run game and don't forget Alex mack couldn't do everything by himself.
@@EliGrant76 freeman and coleman were definitely a good tandem. Also, we had a top 8 defense in 2017 under marquand manuel. Matty ice choked and everyone chose to blame sarkisian. He and Julio were atrocious that year. They had zero chemistry. And matty melt looked like a deer in the headlights all season.
@@cnna12392 the falcons now would destroy the 2017 falcons I'm always grateful for matty ice poor coaching ruined him as we speak kyle shanahan still can't get the job done.
@@EliGrant76 poor coaching ruined matty melt? Kyle shanahan MADE matt ryan. Look at what he did with brock purdy and jimmy G. You’re an idiot if you think matt ryan was held back by shanahan.
This video.
Trade up for cj
No, they aren’t 😂
Huge falcons fan but I don’t agree with Drake London it was a waste of a pick on a player we could’ve gotten in the 2nd round he’s just a less talented George Pickens
George Pickens was easily the best wr in the draft though
