antonio brown wasnt banned from the NFL forever as u can see he got signed on the patriots a bit after leaving raiders and then he got signed with the buccs somewhere after the season with the patriots
Eddie George delt with knee injury and in the following years was decreasing in talent, Brett Favre sucked after his time on the Jets and delt with women claiming he sent bad pics, Calvin had a great year except for TDs (only 5) but his team sucked and from there on out he played 3 more season and slowly decreased in talent and ended his carrer because of how bad his team was, Richard Sherman broke or fractured his arm in the playoffs and because of that they lost the super bowl, Brady hurt his hand in the days leading up to the super bowl and was constantly dealing with media drama all year, and Mahomes hurt his leg but still came out of it good. So everyone was effected some sorta way. Calvin, George, and Mahomes where probably the least effected.
Well Shaun Alexander was never the same guy after his cover year. Richard Sherman got traded and lost the super bowl. Brett Favre retired the year after his cover. Tom Brady lost the super his cover year. Mahomes just lost the super bowl. Calvin Johnson retired. It had effected everyone
Before watching that bills vs ravens game I had some respect for Micah Hyde, but when I saw him point out Lamar being injured, I gained so much more respect for him

you definitely forgot Calvin Johnson. He didn't have one career ending injury but he definitely suffered many injuries that caused him to retire a bit early. you could have said that that was a result of the madden curse
You can't skip cover athletes, 2001 Eddie George went down as his team lost to the Ravens and he was never the same afterwards, 2013 Calvin Johnson just literally quit when everyone thought he survived, 2015 Richard Sherman got hurt at least 3 times after he was on the cover, 2018 Tom Brady's team lost to the Eagles who they should have beaten that year, 2020 Patrick Mahommes got hurt that season and the curse is always active, Madden cover affects your whole career & life afterwards, not just you getting injured or etc.
@@Tylerrrrrb Plus the curse narrative should have ended with George only for people obsessing over it to move the goalpost regarding seasons being played.
As an OSU fan (we’re Barry Sanders went to college) I think the reason Barry left is because the lions only made the playoffs only once with him. He was also a franchise tag so he couldn’t leave. He probably wanted to be traded and when the lions said no he just said I quit.

Ok brown had cte during the 2015 afc playoffs when they were playing against the bengals so there’s no way that the curse can happen before. This cte thing happened during a shot to the head of brown. Also cte makes a persons mood change and he even stated that he wasn’t the man he was before. For example he would get in fights with players and he wouldn’t play his best. But the other problems I do understand.
This happens in FIFA too, for example FIFA 17 Rues was on the cover and then a couple weeks later he got badly injured and could not play for 4 months.
The way the o line who played so historically dominant would forget how to snap the ball and pass pro for Lamar Jackson HAD to be the madden curse. They dominated a good buffalo defense uo and down the field and would snap it poorly in the redzone.😢🤧☠️
Damn, these cover curses put the NASCAR cover curses to shame, for the NASCAR games it likes, oh yeah the driver just has a bad season for that year then back to their regular form
First of all Barry Sanders just didn’t disappear. He wanted to leave the Lions, but the organization wouldn’t let him go and he had six years left on his contract. He was told that you either play for the Lions or you can retire so he just retired. He was only 1500 yards away from breaking the NFL rushing record with more years to go left in his career. I blame the Lions and Wayne fonts for Barry Sanders, retiring, which is the biggest travesty in NFL history because he would’ve destroyed the rushing record in Emmett Smith wouldn’t be on the top like he thinks he should be.
Growing up watching Barry Sanders in the 90's I was surprised he left the game when he did. Reports from ESPN back then was Detroit refused to trade him. His desire was to win. He didn't care about records or celebrating touchdowns. The Lions were not in position to compete for the super bowl so he retired. He was done losing. The Dolphins tried to get him in a trade and Detroit refused.

Me thinking the curse is gone since nothing happened to lamar in the regular season until he got an concussion in playoffs
Well he tested positive for COVID.
well he did have explosive constipation in the middle of a game
@@thedude3065 I dont know why dats a problem when he came back and won the game🤦♂️
Now in 2022 Tom Brady got a divorce. I feel like the curse is getting to him now
PlayStation puts a football for the cover
Football: * breaks leg *
It’s ea
It's the fact how Vince kept going and going with all these injuries
antonio brown wasnt banned from the NFL forever as u can see he got signed on the patriots a bit after leaving raiders and then he got signed with the buccs somewhere after the season with the patriots
CMC is cursed as well 😞
"The world, was ready to watch another....."
*literally just America*
Nah there is a lot of international fans. When they play at Wembley, I am pretty sure that place sells out.
It’s an American sport though. There maybe 25k in international viewers.
That won’t stop my dream from trying my best to try to make it to the nfl ✊
Nfl is fixed try another profession.
I have a hard time believing Barry Sanders retired because of the madden curse 😂
He had a worst curse. The curse of the lions
It really could be oh my God I’m on the Madden cover in 2005 and it’s 2024 and I just broke my rib and then people will call the Madden
don`t forget about Mahomes getting that concussion in the playoff game
Dj LilClipz came back the next week and one so
Wasn't a concussion.
@@micah2426 he was literally in concussion protocol lol
and he got injured last year but it was only for like 2 weeks on an ankle injury
I think the big thing is he might of peaked his first season in the league
They had Brady on there didn’t they?? And he won his 7th but ig it’s just Tom freaking Brady 🤦♂️
He lost to the Eagles that year I thought
He lost that year to the eagles in the superbowl
@@stormtrooper. He did, but no career ending injuries or problems.
@@Airland_combat He did come back the next year and won against the rams but a loss for brady is huge
@@stormtrooper. well injuries is much worse then losing in a Super Bowl would you want your career to be over by a injury or be sad
"Forced into retirement"
Aged like milk.
Antonio Brown I believe got caught by a different curse, and that curse’s name was CTE.
I really respect how you didn't say the names of the ones that have not been affected by it
Tom Brady and Patrick mahomes: that’s cute
Who here after Christian McCaffrey got a knee injury and is out for the rest of the season after JUST coming back from injuring his Achilles?

The madden curse wasn’t real until everyone believed it was, that’s how it works.
Exactly

Well Shaun Alexander was never the same guy after his cover year. Richard Sherman got traded and lost the super bowl. Brett Favre retired the year after his cover. Tom Brady lost the super his cover year. Mahomes just lost the super bowl. Calvin Johnson retired. It had effected everyone
Actually, Vontaze Burfict hit Antonio and caused brain things with him.
That Madden 09 guy must have been sooooooo paranoid every game
Before watching that bills vs ravens game I had some respect for Micah Hyde, but when I saw him point out Lamar being injured, I gained so much more respect for him
I think he was trying to get an intentional grounding penalty not pointing out the injury
@@brittonh88 pretty sure he was pointing out the injury. But that’s just because even through his Iowa Hawkeyes days, he was always a good guy on and off the field. It just seems like looking out for Lamar is something he’d do.
His voice make it even better 😂❤
Damn I'm starting to believe in curse o_o

Poor Vince. He was so persistent but the curse wins every time 😔
mahomes beat the madden curse
No it doesn’t. Players are playing injured all the time. You just don’t know it.
@@alishajahns4347 Jackson Mahomes. Your argument is invalid
I actually have a respect for him now. He didn’t go out like a wuss, NFL players are warriors. They are persistent, and Vince went out fighting, there are many NFL players I do respect, and he represents the Titans well.
@@IAmAlpharius20lamar jackson beat the curse
Its like nobody puts into consideration that when the people get put on a cover they get arrogant
Facts it’s not a curse it’s not none of that Antonio Brown was not a curse on the cover he got nailed by Vontaze Burfict in that mess something up in his head the coincidences in the form of a man cover is not a curse and George was on the cover nothing happened to him
you definitely forgot Calvin Johnson. He didn't have one career ending injury but he definitely suffered many injuries that caused him to retire a bit early. you could have said that that was a result of the madden curse
He left the ones who retired in their prime
You can't skip cover athletes, 2001 Eddie George went down as his team lost to the Ravens and he was never the same afterwards, 2013 Calvin Johnson just literally quit when everyone thought he survived, 2015 Richard Sherman got hurt at least 3 times after he was on the cover, 2018 Tom Brady's team lost to the Eagles who they should have beaten that year, 2020 Patrick Mahommes got hurt that season and the curse is always active, Madden cover affects your whole career & life afterwards, not just you getting injured or etc.
he can do whatever he wants, its his video
@@Tylerrrrrb Plus the curse narrative should have ended with George only for people obsessing over it to move the goalpost regarding seasons being played.

@@iamhungey12345 commenting doesn’t mean caring .. you know this right …?
As an OSU fan (we’re Barry Sanders went to college) I think the reason Barry left is because the lions only made the playoffs only once with him. He was also a franchise tag so he couldn’t leave. He probably wanted to be traded and when the lions said no he just said I quit.
More than once, they got there a few times but the team were never good enough to go far however.
The reason Brady wasn’t affected was because In family guy god was a huge patriots fan so he couldn’t hurt his precious
You could argue he was affected, albeit in a rather minor way. He did lose Super Bowl LII that year to the Eagles.
@@greninjamastergabe6452 to a substitute quarterback
U know he lost the super bowl that same year right
it did affect him bc he hurt his hand that year and he threw a good bit of interceptions
What about gronk
Madden Nfl cover has Tom Brady: Im about to end this mans career
Tom brady: Not so sure about that buddy
Wins another superbowl with a different team and leads nfl history and gets 5 superbowl mvp
About to end it again madden 2001 and 2021
Patrick was still madden cursed he hurt his knee and overcame that madden curse but still got it. But every single madden player was cursed either there career just started to suck, put on crappy teams or crappy management retirement going and etc not 1 person has never been madden cursed u might say brsdy wasn't nah Brady's biggest loss isn't getting injured it's making it all the way up there just to fall to a backup qb to be humiliated by a backup qb? Mahomes is the man who avoided the curse, other than that injury that never affected him, he won the super bowl that year and could’ve won it this past year if the entire o line starters weren’t on IR Next year we win again Mahomes is a god
He's overrated, he's good, but not a fucking god. He coulda had the best O-Line and woulda lost against the bucs. Quit praising him like a god.

@@nadanican Tom Brady is one hell of a player I’ll give him that but um that nearly scored touchdown was on Darrol Williams not on Mahomes, Lemme take you back to when he had a oline down 24-0 to the Texans his team isn’t trying then 28-24 in 10:24, ok look the Defense contributed to but Um it took nearly the whole 2nd half to come back from 28-3 my point is he’s Dan Marino and his arm and Joe Montana’s/Tom Bradys clutch gene
@@AVSFAITHFUL25 I can see Dan Marino's power, but I still don't think he can get near the power people like Montana and Brady have/had, in the way of clutch or arm.
In the NFL right now, Brady and Mahomes are the only two that survived the curse, And guess who are on the 22' cover?!
Mahomes got struck by the curse at the beggining of the season started 3-4
Brady got hit by the curse. The divorce with his wife after getting in one more season which was mediocre at best. The worst of his career
😂😂😂 Josh Allen is going thru it right now!!

Barry’s last year was 1998. The last game in 1997 I truly believe Reggie Browns injury scared Barry into retirement.
Just no, it’s Barry he just didn’t want to play anymore. Watch Barry sanders football life then you will get it
First of all Barry Sanders just didn’t disappear.
@@yea7291 he wanted out of his contract and the lions wouldn’t give it to him
@@beatndagutta no, watch his football life, I think it will change your view
Growing up watching Barry Sanders in the 90's I was surprised he left the game when he did. Reports from ESPN back then was Detroit refused to trade him. His desire was to win. He didn't care about records or celebrating touchdowns. The Lions were not in position to compete for the super bowl so he retired. He was done losing. The Dolphins tried to get him in a trade and Detroit refused.
